Monthly Rentals in Bucyrus

The cabin was beautiful! We did a quick overnight during our travel from TX to IL with our kids and didn’t want to do a standard hotel. This was such a fun change of pace and experience for us all! The home was exactly as described, decorated beautifully, and had some fun board games which was a nice bonus! I didn’t realize there was a little pond when we booked, so that was a huge pleasant surprise! There’s so much outdoor seating, beautiful trees and wildlife, and a cute garden which the kids loved! Definitely recommend booking this lovely home!

Beautiful property with pond. Frogs croaking and rain gently tapping the metal roof lulled me to sleep in one of 4 well made beds. The door opens into a small living area. Behind is a kitchenette to one side and bathroom to the other. Above to the front and rear of the building are two lofts with 2 twin beds in each, all made nicely with plenty of pillows and blankets. (There is a full or queen size fold out below, but I didn’t bother to open.) This is a tiny home, so spaces are quite cozy. The roof slopes to either side with the center being the highest at roughly 2’. Upon entering one of the lofts with the attached sliding ladder, you will need to crawl to the beds. The space to wall side of the beds is about 1’. However, as long as one isn’t too claustrophobic, it’s very comfy. Especially with a drizzle pattering pleasantly directly above. Sally was amazing, met me on arrival and answered all my questions about the farm. She even left fresh eggs for breakfast!

Amber and Rocky were great hosts and the place was so beautiful. The cabin had everything we needed for a great stay. Our fur babies had a great time also. I would recommend staying here to everyone. In fact, hoping to go back soon. Also, the cabin is not very far from stores, restaurants, etc. If you are looking for a great place to stay where it feels like home, but is really far away from the reality of home, this would be the perfect place for you.
