Cabin vacation rentals in Bruny Island

What a beautiful place to stay. Love the stone cottage, so peaceful with everything you could need. So much wildlife right at the back door but best part was sitting on the back deck quietly watching the white wallabies each night. The double spa was relaxing and the cottage was a great location - close to the beach and attractions. Liz was a fantastic host and very responsive to any questions we had. She provided lots of prior advice about what to do and see which was very helpful in planning our first trip to Bruny. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay so much! The sauna has a clear glass top and it was an absolute highlight! Such a smart way to integrate the experience with the outdoors. The outdoor shower/tub is also great, gets super cold and super hot, so perfect for a cold plunge post sauna or a hot soak. I loved how the shells on the ground outside create such a lovely sensory experience when we're walking to the front door. Nicholas was friendly and responsive, the place was clean, super cosy, quiet and very peaceful. We felt right at home. We loved the plants, the fireplace and the awesome sound system too! It's not super central, a 15-20 minute cab ride to get to the city restaurants, Salamanca markets, etc, but we thought that was a small compromise to stay at such a perfect place for us. Such a peaceful and relaxing place to end our Tassie trip. Gorgeous little cottage in a beautiful area. Thanks so much to Karen for being so friendly and making us feel at home. The kids really enjoyed picking your yummy fresh fruit with you and playing frisbee and finska on the lawn. Definitely recommend!

Serene and spectacular. This was the perfect place to stay to switch off from everything. If you’re looking for something wonderfully peaceful but still just a short drive from Hobart this is your place. This cosy home was exactly as described, making for a spacious and comfortable stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - it was as private, peaceful and relaxing as we could have asked for! We spent our time out on the deck or gathered around the fire as a family - enjoying the sounds of birds, star gazing and watching lightening on a stormy night. We had it all! The kids enjoyed the novelty of the tv/dvd and being more conscious of our power use. We took a stack of our own dvds and board games. Overall, an absolutely wonderful 5 night stay! Loved exploring the local area as well. Great Easter lunch at the River Run lodge and wonderful walks from Cockle Creek. Highly recommended.

The house is clean and tidy and beautiful, the bathroom is separated and suitable for a team to live in.

We had a great 1 night stay at Tina's place. It was a restful, tidy and cosy pod to return to after some local adventures. We both slept 12 hours due to the comfortable beds and quiet location. We were able to cook a hot dinner and breakfast with the kitchen amenities. I would recommend bringing warm socks or slippers if you want to take off your shoes, as the floors were very cold on these wintery days. Very easy location and check in / out. Many thanks.

Perfect location for a peaceful afternoon and night before the 3 Capes walk

I loved this place! It’s an authentic 80s cabin with great river views in a super peaceful area. I was warm and cosy and bed was comfy / I’ll be back.

Randall’s Bay is a beautiful sleepy spot to spend some time, and staying at Aurora Cliff’s feels just like staying at a cosy family shack with stunning views and comfy beds.

The property had great views across the water from the front veranda and natural vegetation from the back yard. House fully functional with a great firebox with abundant wood! A lovely experience and we would be happy to stay again!

What a beautiful location this was! Very private & secluded. It was raining, so we snuggled up with the fire going and just relaxed! Loved the recommendations for local places, we checked most of them out 🥰 The place was super clean, cosy and you felt way way way up in the sky. The food provided was insanely generous and yummy! Thank you! Would recommend this place in a heart beat 😊

We thought Sarah’s tiny house was just gorgeous. It was bigger than we expected and had everything we needed ( except a sharp knife! ). We loved our resident wallaby and the fact that it was so close to the beach but also right in the bush. The cafe for morning coffee was also just up the road. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best so we couldn’t make the most of the deck.

Had a fabulous time in Bruny Island, such a beautiful place. Thank you for having us. House was well equipped, very clean and cosy with the fire. Would be even better with a little heater as well, as without the fire it was pretty chilly. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend staying here!

We stayed at Shipwrecked cabin for 3 nights at Christmas and felt so relaxed, it was like we’d been there a week!! Absolutely what we needed after a hectic year. Stunning views of Adventure Bay, fantastic walks and the beach mere metres from the front door. We enjoyed a dip or few in the cleanest, albeit chilliest water - but kept going back for more because we loved it so much. We’ll be back for another stay!!

Our only holiday of the year is over the Christmas period and this lovely home didn’t disappoint. Warm and cosy with quality fixtures, integrated dishwasher and eye catching stone feature wall, reverse cycle air-conditioner and a free-standing wood-heater for the cooler months . A sun-catching aspect with views to Adventure Bay in the distance, it was so quiet. Wallabies hopping around the home and plenty of bird life, if one can’t relax here from the hustle and bustle of business and work life we would be very surprised. A welcoming and responsive host who made recommendations regarding the local area, a lovely lady who ensured our stay was perfect. Nice clean premises and a smooth easy booking. Highly recommended and better than we imagined. Book it!!

An absolute gem of a property, we instantly fell in love with the location and the living space. The deck and BBQ were enjoyed as well as the little track down to a private beach on the river. Julie was really easy to contact with and gave a great local itinerary which we followed to a t. We loved our 3 night stay, a perfect base for exploring the Huon Valley and beyond.

Love our stay at the cabin. It has everything we need. Better than expected. It is very clean. The cabin faces the water and it’s so beautiful during the sunrise or at anytime of the day. Just a minute or two walking from our cabin.
