Vacation rentals with a kayak in Bruny Island

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful Opossum Bay property. It was absolutely perfect for our two families—spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location is stunning, with a lovely beach just a stone’s throw away and a jetty nearby that was perfect for fishing. We especially loved the fireplace—it made the evenings feel extra cosy. A really special spot to unwind and reconnect. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed staying here - it was a lovely home, in a peaceful setting, beautiful outlook, and easy to find. The whole house was very clean from the crisp white bed linen, to the very well equipped kitchen, with plenty of bathroom space, and luxurious towels. A well decorated, welcoming and extremely comfortable home away from home, including a vase of fresh flowers. We made the most of the large outdoor uncover area with BBQ & dining table, as well as the fire pit and timber swing.

The house is located in a nice and quiet place with beautiful views. Shops and restaurants are out of walking distance, but that should not be a problem if you have a car. It is nice and clean, with well prepared kitchen and plenty entertainment options. If I come back to Tas, I love to stay here again.

We stayed here with out two children and had an incredible weekend. The location is absolutely stunning and the bay was safe and sheltered. After a day kayaking, swimming and fishing, it was so nice to curl infront of the wood fire with a book. A beautiful Tassie getaway!

We were traveling as a family group of ten and this house accommodated us so well. The location is so beautiful and we loved exploring the local region and then coming home to wander the beach each evening. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The host was friendly, responsive and helpful

Amazing house. Anything and everything you could possibly need while staying. Clear instructions and no words to describe the view. Was very warm and homely especially as we picked the coldest week to stay. Clean and Christine was very responsive and offered early check in which was nice. Would definitely recommend to others. Will be staying there again

This beautiful beach house is exactly what you need if you're looking to completely relax. Deborah has made the space cosy, gorgeous decor, and lots of lovely touches to make the stay one ro remember. Being so close to the beach is amazing. We had a memorable stay at Suhela’s comfortable and homely place. It is tastefully and thoughtfully decorated with beautiful artwork, books and comfortable furnishings. This is a well loved family holiday home. It was like Anna had invited us to share it. The kitchen had everything we could want, with modern appliances. The furniture was both quirky and eclectic.

Picturesque home overlooking the ocean within a short coastal walk to the beach. Macy's home is styled perfectly, feeling both cosy and luxe. So many beautiful spots to sit indoors or outdoors and enjoy a glass of wine in the quiet. The house had everything we needed and I can't wait to visit again.

Tucked away in a serene, leafy setting, it felt like our own private hideaway—yet it was ideally located for exploring both Hobart and the breathtaking wilderness of Bruny Island. The cottage itself was beautifully appointed and cozy, with a fireplace that made every evening feel like a warm hug after a day of exploring. We loved waking up to birdsong and water views, and it was just a short drive to local wineries, walking trails, and the Kettering ferry. If you’re looking for a place that balances comfort, nature, and convenience, this is it. We’ll definitely be back.

This place is just the sweetest place to stay. Sit on the balcony and watch the chooks by day and pademelons at night. Compact but everything I wanted kitchen. The coolest stairs and wood wall. Close to Woodbridge Village for brekky but also close to Birchs Bay Art Farm, Kettering and not far across to Cygnet too.
