We have just had the most incredible stay at Nichola’s place for my sister’s hen do. From the moment we arrived, she was warm and welcoming and met us to show us around. She also came to say bye at the end of our stay and asked how we got on which was lovely. The house itself is amazing and somehow exceeded our expectations- the photos look brilliant but in person it is stunning! Would definitely recommend!

An absolute gem. Such a beautiful place, even better than the photos. The garden is gorgeous with comfy seats. It is fully dog-proof (if you have a small dog there is one stretch under a trellis they could get out, but my spaniel couldn’t). The whole interior is lovely and well equipped. The shower is lush. Wonderful dog walks within walking distance of the house (you can see them on the footpaths map online) and at the coast a short drive away.

Perfect location and lodge for our Wedding weekend, Suzanne went out of her way to make us feel special with thoughtful touches. Very grateful and a beautifully decorated lodge. Thank you x

Laura’s place is an absolute gem! It is so tastefully designed and well appointed. The location itself is very special too. Everything has been thought of for a comfortable stay. I loved lighting a fire at night and looking out to the garden in the morning. Laura is super warm and welcoming—knowledgeable about the area too. This stay is one of the best in my books to date! Absolutely worth a visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Janice's place! It had everything we needed and more. It was very clean, which is a priority for us! The house is also fitted with quality and durable furniture, and there were plenty of fluffy towels. The shower was enjoyable. We loved the quiet and peaceful location. Another strange sounding thing that we've come to appreciate on our travels is the horizontal storage space available here. By that I mean that there were tables, counters, etc. on top of which we could keep clothes, etc., instead of frequently having to go into our suitcase. We loooved that haha. Finally, we really enjoyed easy access to the Information Room (separate but a few steps away from the house), which had anything from extra freezer space to books to toys for kids! We would definitely stay here again!

We keep returning to this corner of Dorset and this is our third trip to Mapperton - and not our last. Absolutely the most beautiful place and immaculate, tasteful, cosy cottage.

it ist the most coziest, magical little cottage with a private wee terrace. Everything was really clean and Charles was very welcoming and friendly. The kitchen has everything you need and there is a shop 3 min from the cottage. We would like to visit again!

Alan and I had a fantastic stay this week at the Annexe. Carol and Derek were so friendly and helpful and were so welcoming; they couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect. We felt at home straight away in a perfect space for us and our 2 small dogs. We had a relaxing and peaceful few days which was just what we needed and even had a magical experience where the cows and sheep in the field came right up to the fence to say hello one evening which made the perfect photos for our memories. We totally recommend this location if you are looking for a peaceful break. The annexe was spotlessly clean and had everything needed for the perfect stay with lots of extra items which really did make the difference such as: dog blankets, towels, bowls and treats. Bathroom towels, cleaning products and loo roll. Tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and milk and of course those yummy fresh eggs. Carol and Derek thank you so much for an amazing stay- we will definitely be back. 😊

Bill's place is stunning. It's nestled within lush greenery with sounds of birds chirping. The flat was easy to find as its off the main road but one can't see or hear any traffic. The location is fantastic with everywhere that we wanted to get to - Seatown, Eype, Golden Cap, and Charmouth within 10mins drive radius. The flat is also close to the town centre and if you happen to visit over a weekend, do not miss the the Saturday market. The flat was spacious and clean with all the amenities for a comfortable weekend away. The kitchen was small but mighty. Don't be fooled by the pictures! We cooked full breakfast and a light meal for 4 with ease. Bill is a fantastic host that goes the extra mile for the guests. The welcome with moreish home made cookies, deliciously Ella breakfast bars, pots of jams, selection of coffee/ tea all go to show his hospitality. We had a memorable experience at Bill's. If you seek a calm, peaceful, laid-back holiday at Dorset, then Bill's place it is!

Yes, all the 5 star reviews are true! Our stay at Joy’s place was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The apartment was spotless. Joy supplied some wonderful goodies, pastries, scrumptious bread, biscuits and fresh fruit and milk. Lots of information about the area. As the buses were so frequent we used them to visit some wonderful scenic places. Everything one would want for a short stay. The views are amazing with lots of lovely walks nearby which our little dog Mollie loved.

Great location, with amenities - and views across Charmouth to the sea - just as shown in photos. Just 10 minutes or so wander downhill to the sea and only half a mile from the village centre with a good (early until 9.00pm) convenience store, small bakery, pharmacy and pubs. Lots of coastal and inland walks within relatively short drives and easy access to Lyme Very responsive host.

We had a great stay here! Christina was really friendly making us feel right at home. She gave us some local recommendations and allowed us to come and go with zero hassle. The surroundings are stunning and we could have sat by the window all day. Great walking near by. Beach is a drive able day trip too.

My husband, 10-year-old daughter and myself have just returned from a truly amazing week, the property is beautiful, with facilities that far exceeded expectations. We had such a relaxing time; the beds are super comfy; led in bed looking out to sea with a coffee in the morning was a true highlight. The gardens are beautifully kept and being gated and private we had no worries with our daughter playing out. The walk down to Watcombe Beach, albeit steep on the way back up but 100% worth it; we took our paddleboard down and went swimming on a number of occasions, the water is very calm, on 2 occasions we were in the water and within 20ft off us were 2 seals! The hot tub was perfect, lovely fluffy robes provided to keep off the chill. We used the BBQ each evening and ate out on the patio. Susan is an incredible host, nothing is too much trouble, very informative and exceedingly helpful, she really did enhance our stay and made us feel as if we were staying in a home from home.

I told my four-year-old we had been invited by 2 queens to stay in their castle—and what queens they were! Such a friendly reception and what a wonderfully whimsical place. The location is fabulous: you can’t see another property, just rolling hills of sheep (the friendliest photobombing sheep I’ve ever come across!), chickens, cows, horses… and the dogs are such a sweet, quiet presence too. Beds are luxurious and the whole house is super cosy with a fab little private garden. A real gem! Would definitely return.

'Rowsley' is a fabulous apartment. It is very comfortable and is well kitted out with everything you need. The location is perfect, we left our little car parked and walked everywhere. We really enjoyed our time visiting Lyme Regis and meeting Sheena.

Amazing Airbnb HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and worked perfectly for an event we attended. Accommodation was stylish and spotlessly clean with so much attention to detail. Easy walk to the beach and local shops. Very impressed and would definitely stay again

Probably one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in. Set in a beautiful location and exactly as photos portray it. Great attention has been paid to making it as comfortable as possible. Hosts were very welcoming and welcome pack was much appreciated. We would thoroughly recommend and hope to return.

Our second stay here and it won’t be our last ! Very spacious, extremely comfortable and sparkling clean.Everything thing works extremely well. Fab kitchen with everything you need. Comfortable furniture and easy to use TV. Enormous comfortable bed and very user friendly bathroom. Definitely not exclusively for people with access problems but for my husband in a mobility scooter it was perfect. Easy and safe parking and perfect location. Are you getting the vibes that we liked it ! We are looking forward to coming back ! 😀😀

A very tasteful modern and pristine apartment with the most amazing views along the Jurassic Coast - what a place to relax. It is reasonably close to the beautiful town of Lyme Regis walking however the return journey is challenging and is not for everyone. It is so convenient though for the many walking routes in the area which we really enjoyed. Thanks Melanie and David for wonderful stay ( loved your new lawn mower David, we might have to get one too! )

My mother absolutely loved the property. Fantastic location

The flat was great and very roomy, all of the rooms had been done out to a high standard. Mark and Gemma were very helpful and responded very quickly. Facilities I were as advertised and to a high standard. The driveway was steep so take it slow but plenty of room to turn around as going backwards was not recommended but Mark. But plenty of space for our estate car.

We absolutely loved our stay at Carley’s apartment. All directions and instructions were spot on and easy to follow. The apartment was perfect and the view is stunning, and everything we needed was thought of by Carley, who was also super helpful and friendly. We’d definitely recommend to anyone!

Host is responsive There are lots of elements to make a stay more comfortable e.g. plenty of kitchen items, very comfortable bed, lovely patio area with a sun awning. I used gingerly as had spotted a couple of hornets which are frightening in size Local shop in the filling station is cute, even had a vegan magnum Nice to have wipe clean floors Although a small fan provided hot nights might be more challenging as no windows to open just doors. Local lanes are for brave drivers, if it wasn’t for them I would return. Too many large vehicles encountered with only passing place at one point due to someone not parking on their drive otherwise no idea what would have happened. Gorgeous place. Romantic.
