Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Bolivar

This was a lovely stay. The home is historic and lovingly restored to be a welcoming home away from home. The thoughtful touches and all the art celebrating the local area highlighted what a great place this is to visit. I loved the style of the place and how it felt to spend time there. Heather is an excellent host. I will stay here again and do highly recommend this home.

Our family loved our stay at Ken's place. The house was extremely clean, the listing gave us a great feeling going into the rental, and we were not disappointed upon arrival. The property and scenery were fantastic. Our kids loved going out onto trails, creek, hot tub, local lake, and feeding the animals. We all wish we booked a longer stay and we will be back in the near future.

Everyone enjoyed our stay here ! S’mores by the firepit, family games around the huge kitchen table and mornings rocking on the front porch rockers . We wished we could stay longer !!!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful riverfront home in Harpers Ferry! It was fully equipped with everything we needed for a perfect stay. The screened-in porch was our go-to spot for relaxing, and the hot tub was a highlight after long days of exploring. We also had so much fun with all the games provided—it made our group nights unforgettable. The house was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with a peaceful location that let us truly unwind. A huge thank you to Morgan, who was super responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. She answered our messages quickly and gave us all the info we needed, making everything smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this place for a group getaway. We’re already planning our return trip!

Such a beautiful retreat - close to downtown Berkeley Springs but just far enough away to feel completely secluded. the view from every room and balcony was gorgeous. The house has nearly everything you need right there - we especially appreciated the kitchen having seasonings & all of the pots/pans/dishes you need to cook. Our goal was having a few days to rest and spend time with each other, and that's exactly what we were able to do. The game room was a real treat, and the bowl of conversation starters in the living room was such a fun way to hang out without just having the TV on.

Very peaceful, a place to get away and relax. Restful. Grounds are well cared for.

Beautiful location, right beside the KOA which thr kids loved. Very near Harper's Ferry and local tourist attractions.

Our second stay here. Just as good as the first. We met our family most every day (15 minutes away) and got to participate in their many activities, and yet have a quiet, clean, large space to retreat to. They were so flexible that we felt like family !

Excellent host. Very clean place, beautiful property. Laura was amazing. It was like staying with a good friend. We bought some of her eggs and delicious honey. We would definitely stay there again. My wife and I and our fur babies will miss Laura, Jerald, and Dasher.

The space was very nice and full of light but also private. Very clean. Vi and her husband were great hosts and very responsive and friendly.

This cabin was exactly like the pictures and as described! We forgot that chickens are mentioned in the listing until we arrived and saw them, they were very cute. Kitchen is pretty stocked with whatever you need to have simple meals but there is no oven/stovetop so definitely plan ahead, but Trent provides some appliances like a toaster oven, waffle maker, and coffee maker. Overall we had a great stay!

I stayed at Smirna's place with my fiance and sister for a few days and it worked well for three adults. The space was comfortable, well equipped, and very well maintained. Check-in was a breeze. The location is an easy drive from the Dulles airport and has good access to the highway into downtown DC as well as the DC metro and a number of nice suburban communities. The spot was perfect for us and I would recommend it to other travelers.

We have stayed at Lesley’s properties before, and they never fail to impress! This was the perfect place to take our relaxing getaway. We did not explore Martinsburg too much, but instead used it as a midway point between Berkeley Springs and Harper’s Ferry. The bed was super cozy, I enjoyed playing the piano, and the tub is beautiful! We would definitely stay here again ☺️

This was the 2nd time I have stayed here. Once downstairs & Once upstairs. Upstairs has a better view & more sunlight but I enjoyed downstairs too. The layout is about the same. The community is very quiet. Also very little noise between floors in the house with other guests. Comfortable beds. Nice showers. Comfortable furniture & functional kitchen. The deck is huge. The hot tub very nice. Always got a quick response from Host. We are picky and look for places who allow our dog but don't smell or look like they allow dogs. This place smelled fresh & was very clean. The location is ideal being just a few minutes from either Harper's Ferry or Shepardstown. It will likely be one of our "go to" spots in the future.

This was our second time visiting Mark's cabin and it was wonderful!! The cabin is cozy and there were lots of blankets which was really helpful for the evenings and mornings that were a little chillier than I had planned for. The coloring books, art supplies and games were much appreciated by our children and the goats are always so fun to visit with. Mark responds right away and is very helpful and friendly. We felt at home especially on our return visit. We will definitely be visiting again!

River House – 5 Stars My husband and I stayed in the River House for 4 days. We totally enjoyed ourselves there. It was exactly what we were looking for, peace and quiet while gazing upon nature at its best. The house is very clean, neat and crisp with a touch of warmth everywhere. It has everything you could want for your stay, making it home-sweet-home. The house is nestled between trees and situated right on the bank of the Shenandoah’s running river. Enjoy the lush green forest across the river while drinking your morning coffee in the sunroom. You’ll see that this serene setting brings a daily refuge of birds nesting and hummingbirds feeding to the top deck. The sunroom is so cozy and inviting. It seems as if the house is on stilts sitting over the running river. The River House has two large decks, a patio and boats for your family’s enjoyment. The cabin was a perfect place for me and my new wife’s honeymoon. It was a great place to get away from everything and spend time with each other. Mary was a great host accommodating everything we needed. I would visit again.

If you want to be in the middle of busyness and noise this is not the place but if you want total peace and rest, look no further. The drive to the home is up a long country mountain road and the reward is this amazing cabin that sits beautiful on top of the mountain at the end of the road. Unblocked views for miles from the front porch and amazing hot tub. Grab your groceries before arriving cause once you arrive you will not want to leave. Rest, refreshment and rejuvenate are the 3 R’s when it comes to this place. The hosts communicate so effectively before arrival and everything is in great condition so there were not needs to communicate during our stay. However before arrival they were always responsive and helpful. Loved our time here and if you’re looking for the 3 R’s, I’m sure you will love it too!

Absolutely Charming Cabin Getaway! Our stay at this wonderful cabin in Leesburg was simply perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how cozy and inviting the space felt. The cabin itself was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, truly a home away from home. We especially loved the tiny hidden shower and the mini balcony overlooking the woods. It was the ideal setting for a romantic getaway. The host, Shannon, was incredibly communicative and thoughtful, providing clear instructions and helpful local recommendations.

Hosts were amazing and responsive. The area is kind of hidden by the surrounding trees so there was plenty of privacy to relax or soak in the hot tub. The gravel roads around the area were a little confusing, but were quick to get the hang of by the time we had to leave. Harper’s Ferry was amazing and this Air BnB was beautiful!
