RENOVATION UPDATE. The deck and its enclosed fencing has been removed to make way for a stone and brick construction. Cozy and charming 1840's home in the heart of town. MUST LOVE TRAINS. Trains pass thru town 24/7 and can be heard at the house. Steps from the National Park, feet from the Appalachian Trail. Relax by the fire, on the porch or on the river. We have something for every season and every age. we have lived here In HF 26 yrs., 13 of those at the Gaytehouse. We live right next door.

This charming cottage was built in 1837 as the original firehouse of Harper's Ferry. The town square is outside your front door, and it is a short walk to the National Historical Park, restaurants, cafes, and shopping. A perfect blend of location and history, the cottage has many modern updates including queen size bed, pull out couch, fast WIFI, washer/dryer, smart tv, and a secure shed for bike storage. Ladder in the kitchen leads to locked storage area. Living space is all on the first floor.

Located in the scenic town of Harpers Ferry, this sunny little cottage is tucked away in a great little neighborhood full of friendly people and backyard chickens. The neighborhood has restaurants, a wonderful bakery, two local bars, and we are a 20 minute walk from historic Harpers Ferry. The cottage is owned by two local old time Appalachian musicians, so you might hear some fiddle tunes drifting through the air if you are deck sitting. Bedroom has a queen bed No cleaning fees
