Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Bohinjska Bistrica

We received a very warm welcome from Marija. Since we were a little late, the groceries were already done for us! Marija is a very sweet hostess and we felt completely at home. The accommodation is super spacious and very complete. We'd love to come back. 🤗

Alenka was one of the nicest hostesses we have ever had. She went to great lenghts to make us feel comfortable. It felt like a miracle when she had the broken dishwasher relaced within hours. The village is very nice and not touristy and we loved the hikes for every degree of difficulty from the doorstep. Great Place to stay and very much recommended, also because of the greatly equipped kitchen (Even a tramezzino maker)!

Highly recommend. Great hosts , incredible experience. You are ina secluded accommodation but close to many interesting things. Thank you hosts and hope to see you again. BTW …I slept until 13:00 😂

Roman and Milena were very gracious and frendly hosts. They had special treats when we arrived and were very informative about the local hikes and restaurants. The location is just magical. So peaceful and beautiful! The cottage is well equipped and spotless! There are even slippers available for guest use! Very thoughtful. We hope to come back sometime for a longer stay. A great apartment in the most amazing location - highly recommend using the local station car railway to visit Bled!! The apartment was as described with a wonderful welcome pack with amazing homemade Lavender Lemonade. We’ll be back!!

Romina was super helpful and always very responsive. The place is small but has everything you need and it’s close to many beautiful places you can reach in half an hour driving

It was a cozy little apartment, quite close to the lake. It had all amenities listed and the kitchen was also quite nice.

Metka has been a wonderful and kind host in greeting us, making recommendations on places to go and great walks around, anticipating our demands. She has always been responsive in our communications, before and during our stay. The house is very well equipped because it has been lived in by generations, with a soul. Super clean. The location is perfect if one looks for quietness, close enough to the beauties of the lakes but without the crowds and the traffic. It is in a living village with active farming around but no shops or cafés within walking distance. The views on the mountains are stunning (get up early to catch the sunrise !). We can see the road but it is ok. Having a car is a must but 3 bicycles in very good condition are available. We were 4 adults and the house felt very comfortable and at ease. It only has one shower room downstairs (but 1 toilet on each floor) but we managed. My wife enjoyed the piano too ! Lovely time, fond memories. Viva Slovenia !

We had a lovely and peaceful stay. Everything was clean and bed was comfortable. Host greeted us with some treats and always was nearby if anything needed. Would definetely stay again.

My husband and I spent 3 nights at Erika's beautiful apartment. It is situated in a very walkable location, close to everything you could possibly need. The apartment itself is wonderfully appointed and is a lovely retreat to return too, at the end of each day. If we ever return to Lake Bled we would definitely love to stay again. This was our second time staying with Urška — two years ago we stayed at another one of her accommodations, and once again, we were not disappointed. The place is not too large, but it was very comfortable for our family of four. Everything is in its place, very cozy and full of charm. We usually don’t like sleeping on sofa beds, but this one is truly spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped — we found everything we needed. The bathroom feels like it belongs in a 5-star luxury hotel. The surrounding area is, of course, stunning — the Sava Bohinjka river flows just 10 meters from the house. It’s a great base for exploring Bled, the Bohinj area, and discovering Triglav. Urška is kind and helpful, the accommodation is excellent — I can only say good things. We had some truly memorable days here again. Thank you, Urška!

Absolutely amazing place, with mountain view, quiet place, beautiful apartment, everything clean. I was attracted by a beautiful scent as I entered the apartment. I loved the smell of sheets and towels. I could smell my hair all day. Just caring like in a cotton ball. Delightful surroundings, lots of options for places to go. We were very satisfied, thank you very much for everything.

Very nice, clean apartment in a great location with a supermarket right downstairs. Private parking in the basement. Great communication with Sikva. Great walkable location with everything we needed. Spectacular views from the balcony.

We would 100% recommend! Exceptionally clean, centrally located, onsite parking. Great host and beautiful location. PS… if your vacation days includes rain, do NOT let it stop you from exploring, hiking (safely) and seeing all the area has to offer.

Miha was the perfect host. the property was exactly what we needed. during the day we had a lot of exhausting activities planned and being able to rest and recover in the beautiful surroundings made us fresh day after day. if I ever needed anything Miha was able to provide for me and my friends. we were all very sad to leave, we could have stayed there forever. I'm already planning my return to lake bled with the intention to stay here again.

We loved our stay at Marusa’s beautiful home. The ideal location for travelling around the Slovenia. Quick drive to Bled, Lake Bohinj and the surrounding areas. 10 minute walk into the beautiful town of Radovljica. Marusa and her family were lovely hosts, very responsive to our messages and made us feel at home. Apartment was very clean and functional. Would recommend to anyone travelling around Slovenia.

The location is ideal: just 10 minutes from Lake Bled, 20 minutes from Lake Bohinj, and 25 minutes from Triglav National Park. It’s a great base for exploring the natural beauty of the region. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was Marija. She was warm, welcoming, and made us feel completely at home. She went above and beyond—offering tips, personalized itineraries, and tons of local insight. Her kindness and hospitality made our trip so much better than we ever imagined. Perfect place to stay in Ljubljana! Beautiful balcony view overlooking the river and walking streets. Right in the center so everything is walkable and such a great apartment. Would stay here again anytime!
