Near Southwold with shared pool

AnnaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed at 6 Blyth View for one week as a family and we throughly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely getaway in a peaceful location. The cottage is part of a lovely estate in a very peaceful and thoughtfully designed setting with amazing grounds overlooking fields to the East so you can stunning sunset views. It’s a short drive from wonderful Southwold and several neighbouring villages with great pubs offering decent food options as well as lovely drives to explore the surrounding areas. The cottage is perfectly equipped with all facilities working perfectly, a very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms offering plenty of storage space plus a perfect living room space and indoor and outdoor dining. Parking is situated close to the property. In addition, the (bookable timeslots) gym, swimming pool and games room were much fun and we very much enjoyed. Highly recommend this property and thank you to the attentive host for great support and communication when needed 🙏🏼

The Market Square House, Fring Estate

ChloeRating, 5 stars13 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at Fring Estate - the Market Square House, garden, pool and surrounding walks are beautiful. We were welcomed with the most delicious homemade brownies and Victoria and the team could not have been more accommodating - it was the perfect place to catch up with friends who live all over the UK - the bbq was on all weekend because we finally had some sun! We wouldn’t change a thing and can’t wait to bring the children and dog back next year. Thank you, this really is a hidden gem and we’re so pleased we’ve discovered it!

Waterside Retreat

TanyaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Jean is a great host- very welcoming, clear instructions and interesting local recommendations. Waterside Retreat is in a smashing location, right on the small lake, close to the country club. The lodge is spacious, clean and well stocked with everything you might need for your holidays and more. We also used the gym- it was well equipped, had a delicious Sunday roast at the country club and walked the dog along the nature trail and to Tydd St Giles- surroundings are very peaceful and beautiful. Uber-eats delivered to our lodge, no problem. Also, it was an easy 1 hour drive to Cambridge to soak up some culture. Overall a great Easter break, in a fabulous lodge.

Secluded Picture Postcard Cottage with Pool

BethanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is a gorgeous cottage set in the middle of countryside (but easy to get out & about in the car). The kitchen is huge and with everything you need, with several options for outdoor dining to make the most of the lovely garden. Beds are comfy with decent sized rooms, but the standout attraction is of course the pool…heated so that we (with two young kids) could enjoy it for several hours each day of our stay without anyone getting bored or chilly. Lorna & Dean v friendly & helpful hosts. Highly recommend; only caveat - while we had a great weekend here with our toddler in tow, we were outdoors for most of the time; the cottage is decorated beautifully and has flagstone flooring throughout the downstairs which are not always compatible / relaxing with an energetic 2 year old.

Luxury Beachfront Norfolk Retreat

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 month ago
There is nothing at all to fault here and everything to praise, from the location (superb views, lovely coastal walks or a quick amble into town), light airy and spacious accommodation (and so private - despite there being other flats in the building we never heard anyone) to the friendliness and helpfulness of Sarah and her family. A genuine treat!

Ludham Hall Cottage - countryside retreat

NicholaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A lovely cosy and comfortable cottage, everything we needed. Appreciated the welcome hamper and little touches. The view was fabulous, enjoyed watching rabbits grazing on the lawn every evening and even had a visit from a mother and baby deer. Central for all the exploring of the broads we wanted to do and a relaxing place to come home to at the end of each day. Comfortable beds, lovely linen and soft towels. Everything we needed for a time out and renewing stay. Thank you.

Unique & spacious chapel conversion

SurinderRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The pictures really don’t do the listing justice. It is far far better in person. So spacious, even though there was 8 adults and 1 child. The bedrooms were amazing and spacious and the beds so comfortable. Bathrooms were great. I always judge a place by the quality of my shower experience and it was top drawer. Far better than some 5* hotels. The separate bar area was great for people to help themselves and the dining area accommodated the 9 of us comfortably together at the same time. The pub down the road was great but we didn’t really get a chance to use it. Food was a bit pricey but not unusual for a 4*AA rated place. The walk to the beach was lovely and scenic and the stone beach was lovely and peaceful. Although we weren’t there long enough, we didn’t get to use the garden and our grand daughter enjoyed running around and playing hide the penguin stone, but don’t worry Kaley, we didn’t lose it. Overall we had a lovely family stay and the accommodation was fabulous.

Cosy coastal cottage. Short walk to pretty beach

NenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Great stay. Our 5 year old son loved it, especially the bunk bed. Comfortable large bed in the main bedroom. Nice and cozy front room. There’s a great pub a few minutes up the road. The food was incredible. Best burger iv had in ages and I love burgers. Very close to the sea with a stone beach. Only 15 min drive to wells next the sea which is why we booked there. Our favourite sandy beach in the UK so far.

Cliff-top Coastguard's Cottage, an Off-Grid Escape

we had a very relaxing stay at the coastguards cottage. The house is beautiful and we felt right at home and the surroundings are just as stunning. Highly recommend staying here if you are looking to get away from the business of city life for a few days! There is limited electricity as advertised but we had no issues and were easily able to charge phones and lights.

The Plover, Retreat at Ten Acres near Holt

JaneRating, 5 starstoday
Great house - clean, comfortable and very well equipped. (It’s very rare to find good knives AND a knife sharpener, not to mention beach towels.). The promised quiet and calm was delivered; we had fresh flowers in the house which was surrounded by lovely planting. The village is so tiny and verdant that we felt very isolated whereas in fact it was easy to find with a drive of a bare 10 minutes to Holt. Congratulations to Peta for such a thoughtful provision. Next time we stay we would like thank you personally.

Daubeney Cottage in Sharrington, perfect for two

BarbaraRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Charming cottage in lovely rural location - such pretty creeping roses and flowers. Robinne’s a thoughtful host - a welcoming bottle of wine and crisps ; offered us a safe convenient place to store our bikes and access to deep freeze space . Cottage had everything we needed for cooking our own meals - which we did , but we took advantage of local restaurants and Gastropubs in the area too. Great gluten free options everywhere - a real treat ! We cycled on wonderful quiet backroads over three days and just loved all our exploring . Great area and lots to do .

Knyvetts: sleeps 6 (3 double beds), pretty garden

LaurenRating, 5 stars1 day ago
What a joy to stay in this lovely cottage! Impeccably designed, beautifully decorated, thoughtfully done. The space worked really well for us with a toddler, dog and grandparents. Loads of space (the modern and bright kitchen is amazing!) but also feels cosy and characterful in the living room. We had BBQs in the garden and also ate dinner at the local pub. Lawrie is a great and very helpful host. We would happily stay again anytime.

Liz's Lodge by Big Skies Cottages

BiancaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Great lodge in a lovely location We wanted to be in the forest, remote but close to everything and we were As regular Norfolk visitors, this was another great trip Lots of open spaces , kitchen, dining room , lounge. Balcony was a nice touch. Could do with space for wardrobes in upstairs bedrooms but this is a minor point Bear in mind this is in a remote location, no phone signal and WiFi was a little intermittent. Check in super smooth Thanks for a fabulous stay
