Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Blakeney

We had a very enjoyable stay in Twixt. The cottage was a perfect location and with the amazing weather it was great not having to go far in the car! We loved the quay and the walk to the beach, along with sampling food at the many local pubs and restaurants. Our dog Monty loved swimming in the water in the creek. We would definitely consider booking in again in the future.

We had the most wonderful time staying at The Little Barn in Topcroft. It is a well kept and comfortable cottage, with all the amenities you could want. We loved the location as it is tucked out of the way of the busiest areas but still well connected to the coast and towns/cities for trips out. Hannah is a superb host who will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and settled (providing us with some delicious home made apple juice too!). We will definitely be returning and would recommend!

We booked Oak Barn to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary with all the family. We were blessed with a long weekend of beautiful weather. In fact it was so nice that we ate nearly all our meals al fresco in the garden which was fully enclosed meaning that our two dogs could wander in and out of the house. Rosie thoughtfully messaged us when we arrived to give us pointers on how to keep the house cool. The Barn is spacious and spotlessly clean with quality bed linen, towels and toiletries provided. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The layout in the house is perfect for extended or multigenerational families. It’s situated in a quiet country lane but within a few minutes you can be in Wroxham and the coast within half an hour. There was an excellent house manual with lots of suggestions for things to do but the weather was so warm that we tended to stay fairly local. All in all this was one of the best properties we have stayed in.

This is a gorgeous cottage set in the middle of countryside (but easy to get out & about in the car). The kitchen is huge and with everything you need, with several options for outdoor dining to make the most of the lovely garden. Beds are comfy with decent sized rooms, but the standout attraction is of course the pool…heated so that we (with two young kids) could enjoy it for several hours each day of our stay without anyone getting bored or chilly. Lorna & Dean v friendly & helpful hosts. Highly recommend; only caveat - while we had a great weekend here with our toddler in tow, we were outdoors for most of the time; the cottage is decorated beautifully and has flagstone flooring throughout the downstairs which are not always compatible / relaxing with an energetic 2 year old.

What an amazingly idyllic little spot this is. Some places just have a way of healing the soul and this is one of them. Beautiful little hideaway retreat in the middle of English rolling landscape. The house is just beautifully decorated as well, with plenty of space. We went with a baby and 4 year old and it was perfect. There were even toys to play with :) walkable to tasty pubs and close to all the wonderful stuff North Norfolk has to offer. Jessica was also an excellent host from start to finish. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a bit of peace from the world

A perfect countryside cottage in outskirts of the beautiful Holt. Felt at home straight away in this idyllic location, peaceful and relaxing with shops and restaurants a very short drive away. The cottage itself has everything you need and a very comfortable bed for a good rest The garden has to be the main attraction, fenced off for the dog, and very well maintained. We spent most the evenings outside as it was so peaceful. Our Archie loved this space, and like us didn't want to leave! Thanks to Nick & Sharon for a truly amazing stay and highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful rural home but within a short distance to local towns and the beautiful North Norfolk coast. We will be back!

I stayed at Jess' lovely little place with my dogs whilst working in the area. The home is very nicely presented, modern and clean throughout and has all a solo visitor or couple would need for a few days. Very picturesque scenery around the area and the enclosed patio is also great for dogs. I was really grateful for the extra little treats that Jess left for me and done for the doggies too, as for one evening I had no vehicle and had no chance to get other food. Jess was very thoughtful and responsive as a host and even offered for me to check in earlier if I wanted. Would definitely recommend as a home and a host.

Booked at very late notice but thankfully Ben got back to me quickly and was very responsive throughout the stay. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you need and more. Felt very cosy and relaxed there. Loved the working stove. Great spacious parking facilities. There’s a hotel about 10 mins walk away that serves good food. Perfect location for exploring Norfolk.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Sheringham. The flat was extremely well located and was spacious and comfortable. Such a bonus to have outside space too. Will definitely return.

My wife and I had wanted to explore Norwich and the surrounding areas, so we booked a week in 15 Clarendon Road. Not only was it extremely well appointed and felt like 'home from home' from the outset, but all communication, both with the agent, Swift, and directly with the owner, Andrew, was pleasant, friendly and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly look to book Clarendon Road again when staying in Norwich.

Really beautiful flat, great location for exploring nearby restaurants and bars. There can be a little noise from diners outside Pizza Express, but I found if you put on the fan in the bedroom it drowns it out. Great communication from host, arranged for someone to meet us with the key and show us in. Parking space is a bonus in this central location and is in a secure garage. Recommended property and host.

Probably the best AirBnB we’ve ever stayed at and we’ve stayed on a fair few over the years, perhaps a few every year. This was spotless throughout and had so much warmth and character within its walls. So close to the beach you can literally see the sea from the living room. Everything is close by. Would definitely book again as we loved it. Having beach chairs, windbreak and various other useful stuff in the property is a perfect way to make us feel welcome.

This was the best Airbnb I have stayed in. From the massive living room, with a hanging fireplace, limited edition prints, his&hers leather sofas, huge TV, wooden blinds filtering light through a wall of glass; the sunny balcony overlooking the pretty courtyard; the foodie's well-equipped and spacious granite&Smeg kitchen; the angular fully tiled bathroom; to the elegant bedroom with a high-end Tempur mattress, flint wall and rosewood furniture; everything was top quality and coolly designed with Nordic flair. Helene's recommendation of the Suffield Arms (creative modern tapas, good beer and wine) was excellent, as was Binham Dairy cafe. We also recommend Rocky Bottoms for crab and lobster, the Salthouse store for Dann's ice-cream, Cley-next-the-Sea Picnic Fayre store and Smokehouse, and Moon-gazer beer from many of the local pubs. Felbrigg garden, Blickling Hall, Holt's Sunday farmers market, and the ruins of Binham abbey were highlights for us. Thank you!

This apartment is in a perfect spot. 2 car parking spaces which is a rare find in Norfolk! Blakeney itself was a perfect place to stay, park with zip lines/goal posts just over the road. Spar shop for all your essentials (please note the air BnB don’t provide a welcome pack. Purely some dishwasher tabs. So make sure you bring everything. We got a Morrisons delivery easy enough for evening of our arrival). Lovely few hotels with restaurants/bars for non residents. The White Horse was a fav of ours. Lovely quay area, perfect for crabbing (spar sells the supplies). Seal tours from April and great walks over the marshes on the doorstep. Apartment is the top floor of a house with its own entrance. Lovely spacious bedrooms, lounge, dining area and kitchen. Bathrooms a little dated and hot water tank so beware if your kids forget how long they’ve been stood in the shower 😬😆 Overall great stay, would def recommend. So many lovely towns/villages in close proximity or local bus available.

A return visit from 2 years ago revealed all the things we first enjoyed about Paul’s place remained and that the interior had been maintained to the same clean and bright standard as before. Well provisioned and a high standard of furnishings made us feel comfortable from the off. The very short walk into town and the beach is a real feature of this place. We will definitely return.

We were a family of 4 plus a labrador and the home was very spacious and light. The area was quiet and peaceful and as dog walkers, we enjoyed the local nature reserve. I would recommend Marc and his property, because communication was good and the home was spacious and clean, plus it had board games, which we enjoyed playing.

Stayed here with my partners family for the weekend, we had such a lovely time. We made good use of the pool table and the football table. It was very spacious with 7 of us and 2 little dogs. Would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely time at Sam's home. Myself and partner stayed with our 11 month baby, 2 year old, and 3 other family members. We all agreed that the good aspects of this home were VERY good and enabled us to have a brilliant time. The garden, pool and outdoor shower were the definite highlights of the stay. Inside the house was clean and the layout and space worked well for all 7 of us. As stated above, certain features of the stay were outstanding which is why we gave it 5 stars but there are a few aspects we felt could really take it to the next level. Not being able to flush toilet paper, electric bin not working, big crack in top landing window, bizarre food left in fridge, freezer and cupboards (beetroot in fridge, cat food in cupboards), door handle broken in downstairs bedroom leading to garden, dishwasher full on arrival, blinds not rolling down/up properly etc All things that are easily sorted and would ensure the same high standard throughout.

A lovely stay, in a lovely house. Perfectly situated for being right in the middle of town, which our boys loved as the weather wasn’t great this time.. so the amusements got a fair few visits. Lovely kitchen and great for the extended family we had come with us. Christian was so accommodating with us having a young son with diabetes and travelling with insulin. Lovely welcome pack too, which was much appreciated. Thank you !

We had a wonderful stay at Ivor’s place! The house was spotlessly clean, really well equipped and had everything we needed and more. Sofas and beds comfortable, garden lovely and secure. There was really helpful information from Ivor about everything in the house and the surrounding area. My favourite thing was being so close to the beach that you could hear the sea waves from the garden. Thankyou Ivor - we would very happily stay again and hopefully will one day!

my wife and I stayed the at the Hay loft for a short U.K honeymoon after the wedding and we honesty were blown away with the quality of the accommodation. so many little details were thought of, from the fresh jam and bread waiting for us to the beautiful details of the accommodation itself...my wife said she could tell it was designed with a woman's touch! we thought the "honesty bar" was a really nice idea as well! All the toiletries were even high quality and we honestly couldn't have asked for better! the accommodation was also on beautiful private grounds, and my wife loved saying good morning to the sheep as we set off out for the day! we only went to 1 of the pubs close by, the bridge, but oh my goodness the food was spectacular; and right on the water! We both agreed that we'll be returning for another visit, possibly an anniversary treat. thank you so much for making our few days away that bit more special by giving us such a beautiful place to stay!

Shelley’s house is amazing. Could be more perfect. It was the most equipped house I have stayed in. Among the vast variety of glass the the only thing missing were champagne flutes, but we understand these break easily. The beds were super comfortable. The outside table sn chairs were lovely. We had the best weather an were in the garden the majority of the time. So clean and the decor was high end Shelley if you ever consider selling you house please reach out to me as I would love to buy it xx
