Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Big Bear Lake

This was an wonderful place for a big bear getaway. we had everything we needed and the home was cozy and clean. the projector made movie night a blast and the location was close to everything. With our hosts recommendation we hiked up to casle rock and the views were amazing. we also got to swim in the lake. 10/10 would stay again.

Couldn’t have been a more perfect cabin home to shack up in for a cold and snowy weekend. I brought my two pups along and with it being dog friendly, it was clean with no scent either. I love that they still offer this even after seeing a little of what past guest’s dogs did, what a treat! Plus, all appliances were updated, clean, and they supplied more than enough household items (dishes+cups, soap, coffee, etc) The fireplace, backyard, and hot tub were highlights. One of the best ways to celebrate my birthday weekend- would stay again!

We loved our stay in Jennifer's cabin - it was clean, cozy, and conveniently located. Every detail seemed thoughtfully planned to make our mountain getaway as simple and relaxing as it could be. We hope to return to one of Jennifer's properties in the future!

We stay in Big Bear quite often, at least 5 times a year and this was one of the best rentals we have had. It felt very cozy and was so well decorated. There was plenty of space for our family and our pup. The best is all of the amazing windows that brought in such amazing spring breeze. We will definitely be coming back!

This cabin is amazing, had a blast! Super quiet area, the house is nicely designed to relax the entire time. The two decks make for great hanging out space and just watch and observe nature, so soothing. There is a market two blocks down with everything you need to hang out at home and the kitchen has everything you need to cook. You feel right at home. I enjoyed my stayed a lot, thank you Diego and Monique for hosting us. Looking forward to the next stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here! It's a great place for families. My kids loved the Lincoln Logs, the backyard, and the bunk bed. I appreciated the little amenities like the step stools and kids dishware. The hot tub worked great and it was a nice way for my husband and me to relax after putting the kids down for bed. The neighborhood was quiet, but I will say we were there mid-week so I can't comment on weekends. Overall, it was a nice place to say and we had everything we needed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Natalie et al were very responsive to any questions we had. We had a question about the hot tub, and not only did they quickly reply, they had someone come to the property to ensure it was functioning properly. The home was very quaint. It had everything we needed. Thanks for a great first Big Bear experience!

My family and I had such a wonderful stay!! The location of the cabin was perfect! It was super close to the village, great walking spots, and it was very calm and peaceful at night. The cabin was just as described and our doggo had lots of space and fun! It was the perfect weekend getaway and we will definitely be coming back in the future!

Bryan’s cabin was spectacular. We enjoyed lots of time on the back patio watching over the lake activities and wildlife. Very peaceful and relaxing.

This is the third time we have stayed at Claudia's cabin in Fawnskin. As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is fully equipped and comfortable. The backyard is large and perfect for our dog to play in without concern for damage. The primary bedroom has the best views! What a treat, as always.

We had a fantastic stay at The Black Chilet! The cabin is beautifully designed, clean, and incredibly cozy—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, from the comfortable furnishings to the fully stocked kitchen. The location is peaceful and scenic, yet close enough to everything we needed. We come to Big Bear every year and this was my favorite place we've stayed so far. Great location, near the Zoo and Dank Donuts. Trash drop off was only 2 min away. We enjoyed the back yard the most as it was fully fenced for the dogs and the kids loved the hot tub and fire pit for smores! Plenty of space and kitchen had everything we needed. Amazing shower as well! Lastly, Ryan was extremely responsive for any questions we did have and called me within minutes of messaging him. Just amazing!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home! Big Bear is such a fun place to visit with so much to do all year round. We spent a week during spring break and could not have asked for more at this cabin. It was big and cozy and very well equipped with everything we needed and more than we expected! We spent most nights in the game room that had something for everyone, and the fireplace kept the upstairs toasty while adding ambience. The yard was massive and fully enclosed so we felt safe letting our dog outside. The kitchen had everything, lots of space, and being open to the living room area allowed us all to spend time together while cooking. The host was super responsive and proactive and the neighborhood was quiet and close to The Village. We would totally stay here again!!!

My wife and I were looking for a place that would provide us with peace and allow our son to experience snow for the first time (he’s 2 yrs old). Kailee and Melissa’s place did just that. Great, clean, peaceful and beautiful homes. We would stay there again.

Overall, the stay was great with young kids. They have a fun room for the kids with bunk beds, a slide, books, and toys. It’s a good location just outside of the Village. The hot tub was missed by their cleaner but they were super quick to get someone over there our first day which we appreciated.

Josh was a great host and he was super helpful. The only issue we had was that the fridge was not turning on during the first night but he was quick to send maintenance over and everything was resolved super quickly. The home was beautiful and we were provided a clean and cozy place to stay. This was a 10/10 stay for our group!

Jenn and Matt’s place is perfect for a quaint and cozy getaway. It’s a short drive to the lake and shops, but also removed enough to feel private and peaceful. The home is very calming— between the fireplace, hammock and hot tub, there are plenty of ways to relax 😊 We were looking for a way to disconnect from life in LA, and this was the perfect place! Thank you!

We absolutely loved staying here so much. The location was amazing it was so quiet beautiful and peaceful. The house was nice has everything you could need. Would for sure recommend it!

We booked the Cedar House Cabin for a quick couples weekend and it was perfect! The place was SO clean and roomy for the four of us plus 1 pup! It was super easy to drive into Big Bear to the Village during the day or for dinner; as well as quiet and peaceful at night to hang out and make a fire! The kitchen was perfect for making breakfast or a quick lunch! We would definitely stay here again, we had a wonderful time!

We had a fun and comfortable stay at Honey Bear cabin! It is such a cozy and homey place. Check in was easy, and check out was even easier! Instructions were clear and helpful. The cabin came with a physical copy of the cabin handbook, filled with local restaurants and things to do, how to start a fire in the fireplace, and a checkout list. We even received a welcome gift, which was such a lovely surprise! The weather was perfect and the location of the cabin was great! Off the main road, which was quiet and peaceful! But also close enough to everything! Dena communicated very well and was a great host! Thank you!
