Jen & Justin’s place is like a dream for those who want to do it all, retreat, or a time to connect. It is perfect in size and had everything you would need. I have filed this listing as my choice for a nice safe place I can go to find peace, reset, and find myself. My husband & I had a fantastic time and the memories of this place will be cherished. We will be back!

Cindy's cozy cottage was exactly as we expected and worked perfectly for two adults and our dog. It was very easy to find and access. The cottage looks exactly like the pictures and was a very short walk to the village and many restaurants. It was also a short drive to the trailhead of the hike we chose to do on the north side of the lake. Cindy graciously allowed us a late check out which we very much appreciated. We would stay again!

Anha's has been one of the most pleasant hosts to communicate with. She was quick to respond, super sweet, and very accommodating. The place was very clean and I loved the way she decorated the place, modern but still gives that cabin feeling. I really enjoyed the kitchen, the layout was super functional and it was fully stocked. I also loved the open layout of the living room and kitchen because the whole family still gets to be together and interact while we made dinner. Really really enjoyed our stay here, would definitely recommend.

Carlos's place was simple and enjoyable. It was 15 minutes from the ski resort and walking distance from a bar and a general store. The living room was what stood out for us, playing poker and watching movies on comfy couches while making drinks at the bar. Overall worth the money, it was clean and easy to find, and the kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. Perfect for a great weekend in Big Bear!

The Calipe cottage was cozy and convenient not far from plenty of restaurants and activities gave us the mountain feel for sure! We did travel with our 2 year old and they provided little toys for him and books which was cute the only thing was that after dark it was really hard to see outside or to be outside spa light was a small red light which made it kinda scary for us to be outside to enjoy the hot tub but if you love peace and quiet and mountain feel you will for sure love it ! The bathroom is cute and small but my husband is big and bulky and in picture it did look bigger than what it actually was. Host was super quick in responding which was great we didn’t have any issues and all questions were answered quickly! Thank you for having us 🙏🏼

Location, location, location. Great rental very close to Bear Mountain and Snow Summit. Very peaceful setting with tons of trees and quiet. Easy access to Sand Canyon trail which was wonderful to walk the dogs on. Will definitely book again.

Great cottage, nice area with food nearby ans the lake was only a short maybe 5-7 minute drive. Cottage was clean. I like that it was updated and not dark like some homes are up in the mountains. Very responsive wirh communication and very clear. Highly recommend his cottage.

This cottage is located privately in the canyons of Joshua Tree. You have to take a dirt road to get in that takes 10 minutes give or take and my Honda Accord was able to access. The ranch is so quiet and beautiful. Truly you will feel disconnected from the hustle and bustle of life and will feel refreshed here. Best part is there is a creek on the property! You have to hike to the back of the cottage. Diane was super responsive and accommodating! Terrific and beautiful place.

This was the fifth time I’ve stayed here. Diane and the staff are always friendly and responsive. The location is perfect because it’s off the beaten path, but isn’t too rustic. The swimming pool is really one of the biggest selling points for me. This time Diane recommended visiting a couple local spots and I really enjoyed them. The fact that it is about 45 minutes from Joshua tree national Park. So you’re close but not too close. It’s such a peaceful place, it always make sure I have at least a day and a half where I don’t have to leave the ranch at all!

Diane was an incredible host! Her and the Hidden Passage crew have created such a beautiful and peaceful oasis and made mine and my partner’s anniversary vacation an absolute dream! It truly felt like we were removed from society for a small moment and that’s exactly what we needed. The property was so well managed and kept so pristine! Every staff member we met on site was so kind and extremely helpful! I could not recommend this place enough! Also the pool rocks, we spent every single day in it!

We had the best time! It was quiet and serene. We checked out the local hiking spots and enjoyed the bbq outside. The pool was a beautiful touch. Very refreshing after a sunny hike. Diane was also very responsive and available when we needed anything. We felt very well take care of. Will definitely visit again.

An absolute gem of a location. Perfect privacy and nearby accessibility within walking distance to the pool, bathing areas and trails. I really felt like I had my own home while there and the WiFi throughout the location was a big plus! Will definitely come back again!

The host was very friendly and responsive. The home felt nice and cozy and we like how they had a lot of books and games for kids. We recommend staying here at Leanne’s place :) also the jacuzzi was amazing.

The host goes out of her way to accommodate anything you could possibly need or even desire! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that no detail was overlooked in making this a comfortable and accessible home. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this ADA-compliant house. The house is thoughtfully designed with a lower-level bedroom with a lift, an accessible bathroom, and ramps at the front door making it easy for everyone to enjoy their time here. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could ever need, and the open living area has plenty of seating for our entire group. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bedding was top of the line. The outdoor space was equally inviting, with a large patio, koi pond, large jacuzzi, gas fire pit, and bikes available to ride.

We had a lovely stay! The location was really nice and close to everything. The best part was the hot tub after a cold day tubbing with the kids.. Great price, great location, had a great a time.

Staying at the Cozy Cottage was an amazing experience! I booked the cabin for a weekend trip as a Valentine’s Day present, and our stay there was perfect. Mary Ann & Chuck were both very helpful, they guided us to an alternate route to the cabin to avoid an icy/snowy hill, and made sure we got there okay. As far as the cabin itself goes, there’s really nothing bad to say. The heaters upstairs and downstairs work great, and they work fast. You don’t need to go above 68° to really feel warm. The water pressure & heat in the shower is great, the bathroom’s immaculately clean, and very well-themed! The master bedroom is also very well put together. Everything is labeled, but non-obstructively; you only see them when you need them! We made sure to follow the guide & instructions in welcome packet & introductory e-mail, and we had no questions. Check-out was very flexible, and the amenities are amazing. Make sure to sign the guest book if you visit :) 10/10!!

Great little place with everything you need! The communication with the hosts was the best I have ever received. They are very proactive and ensured we had all of the information we needed beforehand. We really loved the hot tub, and enjoyed relaxing while taking in the beautiful towering pine trees. We hope to return!

Everything was perfect. Melissa was a great host and very fast to communicate. Her place is beautiful, and the views of all the trees are absolutely gorgeous. This place has everything you need to have a relaxing getaway and is close to everything you’d want to do in Lake Arrowhead. Parking in the driveway was easy. The hot tub was clean and warm when I got there. The mattress upstairs where we slept was so comfortable as well as the pillows. House was clean and adorably decorated. Perfect vacation spot.
