Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

Tumbler Rocks Retreat - 150m from beach & hot tub.

HelenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a lovely stay at Tumbler Rocks. The house suited our group size and young children perfectly. It was very comfortable, clean and cosy with high chairs, stair gates and a cot. The location was great too with Seahouses a short distance on foot (and stunning views along the way!) There were great options of things to do further afield too!

The barn was beautiful and full of little touches. Pam was an excellent host and was very friendly. She even baked us shortbread whilst we were there! We loved the peace and quiet yet we could get to Alnwick within 10 minutes. A fantastic break. Pam has put together a folder with recommendations for food and drink and this was especially useful. Would love to stay again.

Budle Newton - North East Escapes

LynRating, 5 stars1 month ago
lovely peaceful location with beautiful views, 5 minutes drive from Bamburgh. It is lovely-dog friendly accomodation with a walled gardens/patio either side of the garden room- only thing I would say is the wall is approx 1/1.5 meter high but the house is set in a farmers field full of sheep and lambs(April) which was ok for 2 of our dogs but 1 had to be kept on lead just incase he jumped the wall, so would take a longer lead to give them more freedom if you have a dog that may react to livestock. The house is a little dated but compensates with good amenities- especially the Aga and still has lots of charm with plenty to do in the games room/ board games etc and the beach is just a few minutes walk away. Would definitely recommend.

Hall Yards Cottage

ClaireRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at Hall Yard Cottage, the location was in a lovely village, friendly neighbours and great walks on the doorstep. The hosts left some welcome goodies which were much appreciated. The only feedback we have is that it wasn’t mentioned where we could park in the information pack until one of the neighbours told us. The cottage was very clean, dog friendly and we will definitely return.

The Bamburgh Boutique

Can’t thank Theresa enough for coming to welcome us and give us the tour. A really nice touch. The cottage was lovely. Really homely. The area is really quiet and a really good base to get around to the surrounding villages and towns. The kitchen is amazing. The living room was very comfy which came in handy when helping our four month year old baby getting to sleep Everyone slept soundly. The bath in the master bedroom was a delight. My four year old son loved it (legit wouldn’t stopped talking about his new cottage 😄) as we all did. Would happily come back again.

3 Bowsden Hall Farm Cottage

JoannaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My parents and I had a wonderful stay for the weekend. The house was immaculate, warm and very well presented in a lovely little village that is only a short distance from Holy island, Bamburugh and Alnwick making it an ideal location to explore from. My son loved the steam train from Heatherslaw to Etal which is only a few miles away too. We were all very comfortable and would definitely recommend staying here and will likely return in the future as there is so much to do and we know how good the accommodation is. Thankyou!

Stunning two bedroom stable cottage Glanton Pyke

LesleyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A wonderful short break. The cottage is beautifully designed, with gorgeous furnishings and decor, and has everything you need, as well as being spotlessly clean. All the little details are lovely. The shower is amazing, the sofa very comfy, and the fire looked tempting but we didn't need it (sadly!), as the cosy underfloor heating kept us lovely and warm. The setting is peaceful, with a view of the private garden from the kitchen, and the walled garden is very special. We enjoyed trips to the lovely Northumberland coast, about a 30-40 minute drive away, as well as a walk from the door. This was one of the loveliest cottages we've ever stayed in, and we plan to return at some point.
