Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Barnstable

A minor communication glitch between host and cleaners meant two of the beds had not been made and probably a general cleaning between guests wasn't done. Fortunately the property was already very clean and the guests before me must have been, too. Everything else was in order. When I let the host know, she immediately contacted the cleaners while I went out for groceries. By the time I got back, the place was perfect and the cleaners were gone. I don't think this is a regular occurrence at all. In October this neighborhood was very quiet, which is a priority for me. And I felt very safe, which is also important. I would definitely return and highly recommend.

It’s always wonderful when what you see in online photos is what you get when you open the front door! Yulia’s home is beautiful with all the comforts of home and conveniently located to the ferries to the islands. Its location allows you to bounce around to various spots on the cape, by car of course :)

My friends and I stayed here for my bachelorette, and it was absolutely amazing! The hosts went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great and even left treats for us upon arrival. The house is stunning, clean, and in a wonderful area on the cape. Cannot recommend it enough!

This is an absolutely beautiful rental and location. Cleanest, most pristine location we have been to. Appliances and bathrooms are glimmering. Host is immediately responsive and kind. 10 out of 10 in all respects.

The host was friendly and responds fast. The house has clean, comfortable, and located in a nice neighborhood. We had two cars and parking was very easy at this house. The host provided a binder with recommendations of places and restaurants to visit, which ended up being super helpful. There are many grocery stores, beaches, and shopping centers within a 10 minute drive from this location so it was perfect!

The home is perfect. The location is superb. It is in the middle of the nicest, most serene, green section of the cape. It is halfway between Hyannis and Falmouth, the two towns that have everything you could want. It is in a totally quiet neighborhood so if relaxation is your goal, this is the place. The home is immaculate clean and has everything you could need. But the very best part is that the owner makes you feel like part of the family. Total recommendation !

We had a short but pleasant stay at Gail’s and the in-law apartment was perfect! Check in was easy and the apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with great snacks! This is a great location for exploring Falmouth and the rest of the Cape and Gail is super friendly and responsive. We hope to stay longer next time!

If I could give 100 stars I would!! Out of all the airbnbs I have stayed at Jennifer’s listing has outdone them all!! First of all, Jennifer was the most amazing host and treated us like family! Secondly, the house was spotless, not a speck could be found (and I am usually picky about cleanliness) — it was absolutely exceptional!!! I will definitely be coming back multiple times. Thank you Jennifer for hosting us!

I got this Airbnb for the weekend because I was proposing to my girlfriend in a Hyannis dinner train. This was the only spot that looked private and worthy of an “engagement weekend getaway” vibe as opposed to hotels and other Airbnbs. Meagan even allowed a friend of mine to show up and decorate the apartment with “Just Engaged” signs and fake candles and fake rose petals, which made the bedroom look even more romantic. My now-fiancé could not express enough how much she loved the place. Quiet, safe neighborhood, good eating spots less than 10 mins away in car, great water pressure, everything you could ask for. If we’re going to be knit-picky, the only thing we can complain about was that the A/C did not seem to work. The wall unit was open like if it was working, but no air was coming out of it. I forgot to mention this to Meagan during our stay, as I’m sure she would have rushed to help us. We slept with the windows slightly open and it was just as nice.

This was my second time staying at Chris’ place and it’s was just as nice and convenient as I remembered. Great location, efficient studio condo with everything you need. I look forward to coming back and staying there again!

Had a great time staying at this spot in Hyannis. Easy to walk to plenty of restaurants and attractions in the area, it was exactly what we were looking for.

This was our second time at this location and it was expectedly perfect, which was why we chose it for this second visit. Great, quiet, beautiful neighborhood and perfect accommodations for our short stay. Would also be perfect for a longer stay as well!

Anna’s place was exactly what we needed to have a peaceful and relaxing Memorial Day weekend stay. We knew the weather might be on the cooler side, so purposefully wanted to stay where there was the possibility of using the indoor pool – the sponsored guest passes were a huge benefit here, and Oceans Edge staff even went above and beyond, adding an extra day to our pool access since we were picking them up so late in the day. The condo was clean and filled with all the essentials, in a very quiet area of the property. Would definitely stay again!

Great location for a quiet, peaceful Cape Cod family getaway. Perfect space for group of 4, located on quiet corner of Chatham/cape cod. Very walkable to downtown and lighthouse beach (best beach in cape cod). Julia is a wonderful host, extremely responsive and her local recommendations for visitors were outstanding, especially for first time visitors to CC. Would recommend.

I had a wonderful stay! The space was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Perfect for a good night’s sleep after spending the day out. I came to Dennis, MA to celebrate a friend’s birthday and used the space primarily for resting, and it was just what I needed. The heat worked well, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return if I’m in the area again.

Alex’s place was a great stay to recharge and relax after the long days we had last week. I would highly recommended this place for anyone popping through New Bedford, or staying for a few days! The airbnb was spotless and quiet and clean. I will be renting here again when I need somewhere to stay when I’m back in New Bedford! Also very close to downtown all the coffee shops, and restaurants! Quiet neighborhood.

Amazing stay. Didn’t have to get an Uber once, everything was walkable. Brian communicated consistently.

We were in town for a wedding and Courtney’s place was well located to all activities in the area. The view from the deck of the golf course is an added benefit to spend some relaxing time.
