Vacation rentals with a patio in Barga

The place has the most gorgeous views and it is absolutely quiet - except for bird song. Perfect for relaxation. I went swimming in the pool every morning. We were able to explore Northern Tuscany, using La Lavanda as a base. One just has to be prepared for a pretty scary drive up and down the mountain. But one gets used to it. Sabrina welcomed us and was really, really helpful. Highly recommended.

This was a fantastic stay in a great location, right in the heart of the city center of Lucca. The apartment matched the description perfectly. It was especially convenient for anyone studying at LIS (Lucca Italian School). The host was incredibly kind and helpful, even assisting with luggage on both arrival and departure. The host was also very responsive whenever needed. The balcony was a big plus - as you are on the third floor, but you can step outside any time. We really enjoyed the birds outside. This place is highly recommended, and we would stay again the future.

Very central location, apartment was very modern and clean. Enjoyed our stay but would highlight that the apartment is hard to access with large luggage and/or elderly guests, otherwise would highly recommend.

Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo il soggiorno presso Casa Formentale. La casa era esattamente come descritta, pulita, accogliente e curata nei minimi dettagli. Francesca si è dimostrata un'host eccezionale: disponibile, cordiale e attenta, nel rispetto della nostra privacy. La posizione dell'appartamento era ideale per esplorare la zona, e abbiamo apprezzato molto anche i suoi suggerimenti su attività e luoghi da visitare con i bimbi. Consiglio vivamente il suo alloggio a chiunque voglia vivere un'esperienza autentica e piacevole. Speriamo di poter tornare presto!

Our stay with Miriam was absolutely wonderful! Right from the start, the personal welcome made a big difference – Miriam was always available and greeted us in person, which was such a nice and rare touch these days. The apartment is beautifully and lovingly decorated, with so much attention to detail. We were especially impressed to find a thoughtful selection of basics already in the fridge – something you don’t see often! We felt completely at home – it honestly felt just like our own place. Without a doubt, this was the best Airbnb experience we’ve had in over 10 years! Thank you so much, Miriam – we’d love to come back!

Matteo’s apartment is exactly as described and was exactly what we need for our short trip to Pisa. It’s 10-15 mins walk to Pisa central station and 20-30 mins walk to the leaning tower. As a host Matteo is very responsive and gave good tips and advices for what i needed: place for a pacifier for my baby, place to eat, how to best get around. I would recommend this place to anyone :)

The apartment is lovely and the location to the city of Luca was so convenient.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful and spacious Tuscan villa. The house was full of charm, very clean, with wonderful views, a great pool, and a peaceful location that allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the Tuscan atmosphere. The outdoor sitting area was perfect for evenings, and the bedrooms stayed pleasantly cool even during warm days. The kitchen was well-equipped for family meals. The host was extremely responsive, kind, and shared great local recommendations. Despite our very late arrival due to heavy traffic, he welcomed us after midnight, showed us around, and explained everything, including where to find kitchen items. His flexibility and friendliness made us feel at home. Just as a small note, parking is on the street (which is typical for the area), and some kitchen items are stored in different places, but this didn’t affect our wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

L'appartamento è piccolo ma molto piacevole e confortevole perché lo spazio è stato sfruttato in modo perfetto con mobilia prevalentement in legno. La cucina è molto bene attrezzata e le pentole sono nuove e abbondanti, cosa rara negli alloggi! Il cortile davanti alla porta d'ingresso non è un granchè, mentre il balcone della camera gode di una belle vista aperta sulle montagne. Roberto è molto disponibile. Abbiamo solo dovuto chiarire un piccolo problema a proposito del costo delle pulizie che non erano indicate nell'annuncio, ma è stato risolto velocemente. Raccomando vivamente quest'alloggio.

Die Unterkunft von Mariarita ist wirklich ein Schmuckstück! Die Einrichtung ist bis ins Detail liebevoll, hochwertig und geschmackvoll. Außerdem war alles außerordentlich sauber. Besonders gefallen hat uns der Freisitz und der wunderschöne Garten (der übrigens auch auffallend gut gepflegt ist). Wir hatten unsere E-Bikes dabei und kamen so in 40 min stressfrei nach Lucca. Mariarita und ihr Mann sind wunderbar liebe und freundliche Gastgeber und wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Aufenthalt und wir würden sofort wieder hierher kommen!

We stayed at Alessandro’s house for two weeks and we loved it! The house is warm (huiselijk) and cosy. It is a home away from home. Spacious, clean, comfortable. You will find everything you need. Alessandro is very kind and responsive. We could tell he takes great care of the house and its surroundings. Grazie Alessandro! It is 15 minutes from the city walls by car. 10 minutes to the supermarkets. My husband and son did lot’s of cycling, the house is a great start for different rides 👌🏻 We would recommend it to everyone who wants to stay close to Lucca, but likes quiet and nature.

Wir haben 10 wunderschöne Tage in Casa Lu verbracht. Das Haus ist modern und hochwertig ausgestattet, alles ist gut durchdacht. Die Ruhe, der tolle Blick ins Tal sowie die relative Nähe von Strand und sehenswerten Orten war genau das, war erhofft und in Casa Lu auch gefunden haben. Lucia ist eine sehr nette und hilfsbereite Person. Um es kurz zu fassen: sehr empfehlenswert.

Akribisch renoviertes und liebevoll möbliertes altes Steinhaus mit 2 begrünten Terrassen am Rande eines Weilers, umgeben von Olivenhainen, völlig ruhig, keine weitere Infrastruktur. A/C mit Heizfunktion. Küche bestens ausgestattet (Geräte, Geschirr, Utensilien, Gewürze, Öl , Spüli etc.) Modernes Bad, ausreichend frische Handtücher. 2 Schlafzimmer (Durchgang) und Bad/WC im Obergeschoss, Wohnzimmer und Küche im 1. Stock. Im Untergeschoss separates kleines Appartement mit Bad/WC und Küche und Waschmaschine. Zur Begrüßung erwarteten uns Wein, Wasser und ein Frühstück. In Empoli (ca 10 min.) großes Einkaufszentrum, Geschäfte und Lokale. Wer antike Architektur und Möbel, Natur und Ruhe liebt wird sich wie wir sehr wohlfühlen! 🤩 Aufgrund mehrerer steiler Treppen für Kleinkinder und mobilitätseingeschränkte Personen nicht zu empfehlen. Sehr saubere und bestens eingerichtete Unterkunft. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns sofort Zuhause gefühlt. Etwas abgelegen dafür sehr ruhig aber dennoch mit Auto schnell in Lucca. Danke an Co-Host Ingrid für den professionellen und netten check-in/out. Gerne wieder einmal 😀

What a BEAUTIFUL place to stay! We would definitely love to return.Andreas was so incredibly helpful,generous and welcoming. The cats were extremely friendly and as animal-lovers, we adored time with them. The scenery is absolutely incredible! Andreas gave us fresh eggs from his hens for breakfast - a lovely gesture. The bed was sooo comfy too. We only had a brief stay, but managed to squeeze in swimming in the pool and time drinking in the sheer peace. Andreas told us about a natural spring close by where we enjoyed collecting our water daily. Thankyou Andreas for making our stay such a special one. Very kind regards. Jane and family.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bonnie’s rental in Lucca! The place was charming and comfortable, and Bonnie was incredibly accommodating, especially as our travel plans changed a couple of times. Stupito!!! La casa è esternamente un gioiellino curato nei dettagli e colori, all’interno è esattamente la casa dei miei sogni. Appena ristrutturata in tutte le sue parti, con molto gusto e dettagli eccellenti e di qualità. Tecnologica, confortevole. Gli host super attenti ai particolari, colazione Abbondante, chiavi magnetiche, istruzioni abbondanti e facili. La cosa che più mi ha colpito è il livello di pulizia, impeccabile è dir poco!! Ottimo lavoro!!! Consigliatissimo!!!

This apartment is so perfect for travelling around Italy. Close to the Tower (10-15 min walk) and close to some amazing eating places! We walked to the Pisa Central Station every day and went to many different towns/cities. Lucca was amazing and so was Florence. Viareggio was charming seaside town as well!! All affordable as well by train. We will definitely return x

Host molto gentile e professionale. Appartamento pulito e spazioso. Comodo per 4/5 persone. Posizione tranquilla, comodi anche gli spostamenti per raggiungere il centro ovviamente considerando il periodo dell’anno.

Wonderful location. Rooftop terrace is magical. Very helpful host. Great amenities near by; cafes, grocery, laundry, shopping. Easy walk to all the highlights of Lucca. Carlotta’s Rooftop apartment is an absolutely favorite AirBnB experience we have had. Lucca is a gem getaway.

Dies war eine der besten AirBnB Unterkünfte in der wir je waren. Die Gegend und die Aussicht sind atemberaubend. Die Unterkunft liegt traumhaft schön, ist sehr sauber und hat alles was man braucht. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist unglaublich schön und wir haben unsere Zeit dort sehr genossen. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft von Herzen.

Sabina’s place is immaculate and in a great location for all the main attractions of Pisa. We were able to walk easily to and from the apartment and there is a lift for carrying bags up and down the stairs. Sabina communicated quickly and was very helpful. We’d highly recommend the apartment and will be staying again next week.
