Absolutely loved our stay here! If you're someone who enjoys being close to nature and traveling with your dog, this place is perfect. The surroundings are peaceful and green. Fabiola was super friendly and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. The house rules were clear and straightforward, which made the whole experience stress-free. We felt really welcomed and comfortable the entire time. All in all, a great stay—we’d definitely come back!

Anna was incredibly communicative and her place was clean, quiet, and exactly what we were looking for. We especially loved her two little greeter cats!

good value, a little creepy if you're showing up at night (haunted vibes) a little damp smelling, especially in the bathroom (since it's carpeted) but the view makes up for everything. beds and sheets were all clean and comfortable upon arrival.

Galen and Cindy were wonderful hosts! The cottage was incredibly comfortable and made my husband, daughter, and me feel right at home. The location is perfect—just about 30 minutes from Acadia National Park and close to great restaurants and shops. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! 😊

Cute little cabin in the woods!! Super clean, check in was very easy. Nichole was very easy to communicate with. The cabin was perfect for a quick weekend. We would definitely stay again!

I had a wonderful stay here! The inside is clean and cozy! Plus we enjoyed being able to cook over the fire and hang out by the lake. The location is private and peaceful. 35 minutes to the entrance of Acadia but depending on what part of the park you are headed to it can be up to an hour drive. I would stay again!

Stephen's place is a gorgeous getaway for a fam. it's literally ON the ocean - with multiple jaw dropping views. Best part was the view from Dining room! clear and crisp communication and great stay. would recommend 10/10.

Such an absolutely magical place to stay! My pup and I stayed for a month while I worked and played. Gorgeous views of the Beech Hill Pond and close enough to various towns for hiking, sightseeing and enjoying local food. Spent time on Deer Isle, MDI at Bar Harbour & Acadia, and even made the trek to Lubec. if you want to experience a wee bit of winter and early spring, mid to late March into April was the perfect time. We had a few inches of snow fall within the first few days of the trip. Don't hesitate to book this cottage!

The most beautiful place, exceeding all expectations. The views are spectacular. We breathed in peace and tranquility. A fabulous place to celebrate my 80th birthday with the whole family -- 16 of us. Everyone was comfortable in the space. In addition to being the perfect host, Samantha provided surprise extras which was such fun! Just a few of the highlights: S'mores at the firepit, lobster dinners, seals, bald eagles and fireworks. She made our stay truly memorable. My family gives the place the highest recommendation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Sarah's home and appreciated how thoughtfully organized it was! The hot tub was a perfect way to end a long day of hiking, and we LOVED our beach mornings.

Our stay at the Great Pond Airbnb was incredible! The house was beautiful, cozy, and fully stocked with all the amenities we needed. We especially loved the paddle boat—it was magical to take it out on the lake early in the morning and watch the sunrise. Truly a dream! Finding the place initially was a bit tricky (we missed some details in the instructions), and cell service in the area is spotty, so definitely screenshot directions beforehand. Once settled, though, it was perfect. Being just over an hour from Acadia National Park was a huge bonus! We had a blast hiking, especially on Precipice Trail (challenging but amazing!) and Beehive Trail for a slightly easier, but still fun option. This spot offered the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a peaceful, nature-filled getaway!

We had a great two nights here and enjoyed the hot soak and the sauna. It was near many amenities and also felt very removed. Matt’s was attentive without being intrusive, making sure our stay was perfect and the escape we hoped it would be.

It’s a lovely cabin, the hot tub is a plus. It’s also fairly private since it’s last cabin of the property.

Adorable cottage, newly renovated. Perfect for two with an open space loft for one more. Kitchen is well stocked right down to the coffee. A good location if visiting Fort Knox, Mt. Barrie and not too far from Bar Harbor if that is on your list. Great stay, highly recommend. Beautiful view and private.

This place was a truly a gem. Great yard to relax and get away from everything. Place had a comfortable and homie feel! It was clean and stocked with amenities. The location was perfect for me to explore the mid-coast area which is near and dear to me. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit the area. I throughly enjoyed my stay and would book again!

this was probably our favorite Airbnb ever! we stayed 4 nights and it was perfect for our family of 5. the house is so fun, has a neat layout, and is super cozy. the weather was great so we had coffee on the porch in the mornings and had dinner on the porch one night as well. the "back yard" was the highlight for the kids. if you like tide pools, make sure you check out the land bridge at low tide! it's close to Bar Harbor without the huge crowds and traffic. the hikes on this side of MDI are amazing too without as many people. don't miss this great place!

Robert was an amazing host! Super kind and helpful from the beginning till the end. The house was just perfect,so cozy, peaceful, and full of thoughtful little touches. Everything was exactly as described (maybe even better!). We felt at home the moment we walked in and didn’t even notice how fast 10 days flew by. It will always be a special memory for us. Really enjoyed this cottage in Blue Hill. The owner was incredibly responsive when our plans changed so we arrived a day early, and we really appreciated his flexibility. The cottage is very peaceful and we never heard any outside noises at all. My son really liked looking for the pigs in the morning. The beds were very comfortable, and we had everything we needed. The bedrooms do not technically have doors, but they’re so far apart that this was not an issue at all - they are separated by two floors.

We had an amazing stay at Jason’s place despite a (mostly) rainy Memorial Day weekend! We still found plenty to do including inside the Airbnb, outside at the pond, and locally at all of the great restaurants/breweries/nature around. We also made it out to Acadia two of our days. I will say, the trip took longer than advertised (about an hour to get to the edge of the park), but was a pleasant enough ride. We also had our two dogs staying with us and we all felt right at home! Jason was a very responsive and helpful host as well - you can’t go wrong with this peaceful retreat on the pond!

Beautiful quite location with rustic craftsmanship like no other. Close to Acadia and Gulf of Maine, scenic farm and whimsy charm. Amazing place!

The place is, as advertised, the cutest. It's equipped as well, having every tool or utensil you might need to enjoy your seafood. This was our first trip Downeast and we found it to be as charming and naturally beautiful as we hoped it would be. The cherry on top was our hosts. Bonnie and Chubba are especially friendly and are true stewards of this grand corner of America.

Fantastic place to get away, yet comfortably close to Bar Harbor, Acadia and other local attractions. The host really thought of everything when planning out this property. Loved explaining the vintage toys upstairs to our teens and had a blast playing ping pong and darts! Nice, shaded walk to the shoreline, too. Loved that the property was fully surrounded by trees and the screened in porch was a bonus! A real gem in the woods! Thanks for everything Will!
