Stairs lead down to the cove where you can walk the shore at low tide, birdwatch or hear fog horns. At high tide you can take our kayaks out. It's walking distance to Lamoine Beach Park and 35 min to Acadia. The classic but comfortable living space is all on the second level. Wifi & TV with cable, and air conditioning are all available. The basement/garage level has a washer/dryer.

"Bear" cabin is one of four new cabins at Dickens Farms in Eastbrook Maine. Our cabins are spaced for privacy and each has its own fire pit, bbq grill and picnic area. You can enjoy water access to Abrams Pond for swimming, fishing, and kayaking. Two kayaks are provided per cabin for your enjoyment. This private cabin is located 10 minutes from bar harbor and Acadia National Park hiking trails. Beautiful view of Cadillac mountain from the patio/bbq area. All linens, cookware, towels etc are provided. There is WIFI in the cabin now. The cabin is on the family property of a commercial fishing family. You will see plenty of lobster traps! :) it will be an authentic Maine experience.
