Family-friendly vacation rentals in Balkans

Every part of our stay was exceptional! Nektarios was friendly, helpful with suggestions for anything we needed, and responsive. The unit is more beautiful than the pictures, the views are stunning, and the privacy was wonderful. Just a few minutes to walk to town for all the restaurants and shopping. The deck was wonderful to relax on and waking to the view every morning was amazing. If we visit Naxos again, this is where we would hope to stay! It is PERFECT!

Dorotea was very kind, informative and very flexible with us. We loved her location and enjoyed the property. We would stay hear again in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful time. The place was exactly as described and Theodoris was very responsive to our questions. He also arranged to have someone take our luggage to and from the place, which in Santorini that is a huge bonus!! I can’t forget the wine from his family’s vineyard he provided! The location is great as well!!

A+ booking. Dimitri was the best host we have ever had. He arranged all our transportation around Santorini including pick up and drop off at the airport and the ferry port. He had a ton of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. He helped book our catamaran tour around the island of Santorini which is a recommendation he had. The home itself is exactly how it looks in the pictures online. They almost seem too good to be true but they are 100% accurate. The balcony has an unobstructed view of the oia sunset which my wife and I watched every night we stayed there. The property is right at the top of the stairs that lead down to Ammoudi bay. So there is no hike up and down stairs when trying to walk back to the home. The location is perfect. It’s near so many restaurants and shops. The home is very private. A lot of these homes can have a nice view but people can also see you when on your balcony. We watched the sunset from our hot tub on our balcony. Great price. 10/10

It was a great place to stay! Full kitchen, 2 beds with their own bathrooms and a half bath for guests. Plenty of space inside and out. Plus he has a sound system with both indoor and outdoor speakers. This is one villa he uses as an AirBnB out of three on that street, each one has its own electric gate along with a main gate to gain access to all three. The area is private and relatively quiet and clean. This was my second time back to Mykonos and my third time in Greece. I would 100% stay here again or in one of the other villas he owns.

Our stay at Otium Villas was absolutely amazing! The villa has the most beautiful view of the caldera and was a close walk to the main strip in Oia. Nick, the property manager was super responsive and accommodating - we arrived early in the morning and was able to check in right away and as well as store our luggage after checkout. The room was clean and housekeeping came by everyday with fresh towels. Alfred looked after our villa and met us at check in and check out to carry all our luggage up and down the stairs - he was very friendly and nice to talk to. They were also able to arrange a tranfer for us to and from the ferry port. Couldn't have asked for a better experience for our first time in Santorini!

if I can give this location a 6/5 of a review I would. Pro Tip please get the transport from the Airport and have them help you with the bags down to the property, you will see quickly this pays off tremendously and let them help you get your bags out, it will be worth every cent for this service. The pictures don't do this place justice. The blue domes are literally your backyard, you don't need the sunset, you literally have Oia in your background. You can sneak out to do your own photo shoot and avoid all the 1 hour plus lines for people taking photo shoots in the public areas. It is a lot of steps but very walkable to everything. Mary is a blessing agent you will connect with and she will happily get you the information and activities you need. This initially was outside of our budget, but we decided to push the budget and it was beyond worth it. I don't have enough characters to say how much we loved this place. We will be back.

This was the best Airbnb we ever stayed at. Staff was like concierge at a high level hotel. It’s a family owned set of Airbnb‘s with staff that are like family to them. They were pleasure to talk with and provided so much help with planning. Unbelievable. Stay in Santorini a small word of caution. The site is so beautiful that cruise ship people went up outside to take pictures frequently. We will absolutely visit the next time we’re in Santorini.

Very clean and modern accommodation with a sensational view over the beautiful Calabrian surroundings. Daniela and Pietro are charming hosts and easy to reach for any questions. Upon arrival, a delicious apple pie and a good wine were already waiting for us, and honey, jam, cereals and fresh eggs from the chicken coop were waiting for our first breakfast. The fruit that grows around the house is delicious and definitely worth trying. The peace and quiet in the mountains is priceless, and it's wonderful to read a book in the shade of the olive trees. Badolato is just a quick drive away, or you can treat yourself to a walk through the beautiful vegetation and steep terraces. The crystal-clear pool water will give you the necessary kick of freshness during warm days. We love that place and extended our stay because we already felt home after seconds. Thank you for your hospitality!

Non si possono trovare parole per la gentilezza e la disponibilità della sig.ra Maria Teresa; una creatura meravigliosa che ama gli animali come dovrebbero fare la maggior parte delle persone. La struttura è assolutamente perfetta per quelle che sono state le mie esigenze. Pulitissima, materassi comodissimi,completa di tutto quello che occorreva (dal detersivo all'olio extravergine d' oliva fatto da loro) ,passando per ombrellone,teli mare ed addirittura delle ciabatte nuove per tutta la famiglia. Che dire,la gente dovrebbe prendere esempio da questa ragazza di come si fa un b&b. Spero di ritornarci al più presto. 💛

Hervorragend. Ein ganz besonderes Haus für Naturliebhaber. einsam in einer Privatbucht gelegen. Man hört nur die Vögel und das Meer. Sonnenuntergang inklusive. Sehr netter Gastgeber. Er hat uns sogar frischen Fisch gefangen und köstlich zubereitet. Unvergesslicher Aufenthalt.

We had 1 week at this beautiful villa and it exceeded all expectations, the villa was even more beautiful than the photos. The beds are super comfortable and it had all amenities that you needed. When we checked in we were left a huge bowl of fruit, wine coffee and tablets for the dish washer and washing machine. We ate breakfast on the terrace watching the view every morning and could resist a sundowner aperitif every evening in the sun soaking up the view. The outside road was very quiet and the villa is walkable to all beaches and restaurants we particularly enjoyed the dolphin Nicos and Akron beach. It was spotlessly clean and Miriam was very responsive to all queries. We were gutted to leave and would rebook in an instant

Was für einen tollen Aufenthalt wir hatten. Die Lage ist perfekt und direkt neben dem Dorf und trotzdem hat man viel Privatsphäre. Das einzige was fehlt ist eine Möglichkeit zu kochen.

Omdat ons verblijf de vorige keer (drie jaar geleden) erg goed was bevallen, keerden we terug naar Evia Fox House. Het was wederom fantastisch: een prachtige en smaakvolle villa, privé maar wel met uitzicht en met zwembad, en veel ruimte in en om het huis. De communicatie met Dimitra verliep vlot en heel prettig. We hadden hoge verwachtingen (na ons eerste bezoek) en die zijn wederom helemaal uitgekomen. De omgeving biedt allerlei bezienswaardigheden (kloosters, kerkjes, stranden, bergen, steden, opgravingen) maar we genoten er ook van om thuis te blijven in deze prachtige villa en tuin.

Located about 30 mins by bus outside Dubrovnik it us definitely worth the extra effort. The view from the patio is stunning and there is everything you need provided. If you are looking to escape the manic main areas and don't want an all-inclusive experience this is it. the villa is on a main route direct to the old town and if you buy the dubrovnik pass the bus is free. There is a faily steep walk and a fair few steps to reach the villa so you need to be fit but you can use bolt or taxi to the property. great value for money

Wir haben mit Antonio kommuniziert. Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen wirklich übertroffen. Das Haus Ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Antonio hat uns an unserem ersten Abend ein wundervolles Menü gekocht zu einem absolut fairen Preis. Er war jederzeit ansprechbar, wenn wir eine Frage hatten und hat uns auch tolle Tipps gegeben. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder dort hingehen sollte ich noch mal in der Gegend sein. Es ist eine Oase der Ruhe an der sonst recht trubeligen Amalfiküste.

We had an amazing time. The place was very clean, views were stunning. Host was attentive and responsive. Care was given to provide many items to ensure we had all the items we needed on our arrival. Extremely thoughtful! We had two young children and were please to have everything we needed for them to lunch on arrival. So many special touches!! We had a hard time leaving, we hope to be back soon! Special thanks to Antonio, we won’t say goodbye but rather arrivederci !

This is place is great for people who love the beach . Walkable to a lot beach beach club but away from the noise. Host is very responsive and very helpful . Super clean, the Private pool with a view and the bar service is outstanding. Everything is outstanding highly recommended.

Andrei is a brilliant host who was incredibly generous. He made us feel very welcome and his organic eggs from the farm were a real treat. Despite the rain, the beautiful views and natural hot tub - heated by the plentiful supply of cut wood - were a delight. His dog Rolly was a great addition to the welcome team as well! Overall, it is a beautiful place to stay. We couldn’t recommend staying here more!

We have been to many countries so far. We visited Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Bułgaria, Canada,France but this place is the best . The house is very comfortable, cosy ,well equipped and it has its unique style.The garden is beautifull. We will always remember amazing sunsets and sunrises, the birds drinking water from the pool, the scent od flowers and plants.We used the pool few times a day. It was cleaned regulary. Kostas is a great host. We do appreciate his kindnese, care, generosity and hospitality. He gave us advice what is worth seeng, visiting. He even went with us to the town to do shopping. Kostas showed where we should buy the best vegetables, fruit, jest. Whatever you need he is always for you. Don't hesitate, just come to Dafni and spend gorgeous holidays.

The villa is a gem. The views are unbelievable, the peacefulness was amazing and there are not enough words for the amount of help Diana gave us. Diana waited for us with fruit, charcuterie board, drinks and home made pastry. She set up all the transportation we requested and gave us suggestions of things to do. She even brought us flour at 9:00 pm so we can make crepes. The only thing that you can’t do is walk to places. So, if you are a walker and want a lot of things to do all day, you might want to pick a different villa. We spent time enjoying the views and peacefulness and had time to go sightseeing.

The house is literally right at the water. The final drive down to the house is extremely steep, and with a larger vehicle it was a challenge to turn the car around. We became pros at this about halfway through our 15-night stay!! With only three of us in the house, we had plenty of room. We thoroughly enjoyed the two living rooms (first and second levels). We also enjoyed the multiple decks to sit out and enjoy the water sounds. We used the outside table by the pool a few times and appreciated the extra shade provided by the electric awning. The pool was a bit cold for us, but we did use it. The lichen had everything we needed, which we appreciated. The house far exceeded our expectations!! Rania was very helpful, as she provided great suggestions for restaurants, activities, etc.

Absolutely stunning Villa. The views are insane. It’s very clean and spacious, in a very peaceful location. You do need a car to access the shops , restaurants and the beach. Gerasimos is very helpful and responsive. We came for a family wedding , my relative stayed in a sister property ( Mystique ) that was also stunning. I would highly recommend these Villas and will definitely return.

Wir waren als Mädelstruppe dort und wir können es wirklich nur empfehlen ☺️ Ana hat uns ganz lieb empfangen, war flexibel mit unserer Ankunftszeit, hat uns alles in Ruhe gezeigt und erklärt und sogar eine kleine Willkommensüberraschung vorbereitet 🥹 wenn wir ein Anliegen hatten, hat sie innerhalb weniger Minuten geantwortet Das Haus ist perfekt, wenn ihr nach einem Ort sucht zum Entspannen sucht, mit tollem Bergpanorama, beheizbarem Pool und Sauna ☺️ mit drei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern perfekt für große Gruppen. Man hat seine Ruhe und kann wirklich tollen Urlaub machen 🏖️
