This beautiful old building apartment in Bad-Cannstatt is a perfect base for many great experiences in and around Stuttgart. Wilhelma, Rosensteinpark and Neckar are right outside the door. From the Rosensteinbrücke U-Bahn [subway] stop, you are in the city center in 8 minutes. Bad-Cannstatt train station for S-Bahn trains and regional express trains is about a 10-minute walk away. For a bit of nature, Lake Max Eyth can be reached in 10 minutes. There is one double bed and one sofa bed for one extra person.

2 rooms, bathroom. Our vacation apartment is located in the Stuttgart district "Bad Cannstatt", in a quiet residential area. Our vacation apartment was renovated and refurnished in 2020 and 2023! The residential building from 1936 was completely renovated between 2014 and 2018. The vacation apartment is located on the garden floor, with access to the garden terrace and its own entrance. A covered outdoor seating area and large garden with terrace invites you to relaxed, enjoyable times.

Eine Wohnung zum Wohlfühlen! :-) Sie liegt im Stuttgarter Osten unweit des Cannstatter Wasens, des Daimler Museums sowie der Porsche Arena. Die Lage ist außerordentlich ruhig, eingebettet in herrliche Natur und dennoch sehr zentral. Man erreicht mit dem Auto oder Bus/Bahn in max. 5 min. die Stuttgarter Innenstadt. Vor dem Haus sind Parkplätze vorhanden, die nächst gelegene Bahn liegt nur ein paar Gehminuten von der Unterkunft entfernt. Der Wasen ist ebenfalls gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Stay at the Altenburg/Cannstatt

The rooms are located in a terraced house on the Altenburg in Bad Cannstatt. That's where my husband and I live. You reach the accommodation via a shared staircase, but have your private area with kitchen, bathroom and toilet. High ceilings with a view of the beams give the apartment a cozy atmosphere. From here you can see the TV tower and reach both the city center and Bad Cannstatt in less than 15 minutes. Wilhelma, the stadium and the Mercedes Museum are easily accessible.

Andrea is a lovely kind lady and is very hospitable. The location is quiet but only five minutes walk to the frequent tram service to the centre (only slightly further to the bus stop for Bad Cannstatt). Kettle, fridge and microwave in the room proved very useful (plus use of kitchen) and some welcome freebies were provided. There is a nice little balcony too. The stairs might be a little daunting after a long day, but for me this was the ideal place to stay.

I enjoyed exploring the neighborhood, and found it an easy and pleasant walk from the Echterdingen train station. (I was tired of buses.) The room was refreshingly simple and sparkling clean. There is only positive to report about this place. The location is excellent: Right near a tram stop, which makes it very easy, especially for guests without a driver's license, to get to the city center of Stuttgart quickly and comfortably. The room was fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The modern design and exceptional cleanliness were particularly convincing. A small point that was a bit unusual at first is the reception, which is located in the café, but after a short time you can easily find your way around. Overall a great stay, and I will definitely be happy to come back!

You should definitely use it! The stadium is close, the central station is close, and there is a grocery store nearby, so it's great! The host was also very kind and thoughtful, so I had a very comfortable stay!
