Vacation rentals with a patio in Bacalar Municipality

We really liked it! The place was very nice and clean! Of course, it is recommended for people who have a car, or who have no problem taking a taxi, as it is a bit far from downtown Bacalar to walk!

Carlos gave perfect instructions for our arrival. The lodging was excellent and as described. The resident dog allowed me to give it pets, which was an excellent experience. Highly recommended.

5 stars for the hosts’ flexibility and willingness to accommodate our changing schedule. The place is as described, and as noted by others: a good pad to explore Bacalar and not a long term stay option, per se. Everything was clean and worked well. The parking is behind a secure gate, and everything feels safe about the location. A nice walk into the town that takes you past a lot of “real Bacalar”.

I want to thank Isaac and Israel for their hospitality and attentiveness, always thoughtful and available to us. The property is beautiful, very well-kept, extremely clean, with excellent maintenance and many details that make a difference. In summary, it exceeded our expectations. The published photos are beautiful, but the place is even better. Our gratitude to the hosts, and we 100% recommend this accommodation.

Comfortable room with the essentials. In the kitchen they left us complimentary beer, bottled water and cookies, in addition to having everything necessary for cooking, there is coffee and sweetener, the fridge is very useful and the grill, although we did not use it, had pots and pans. There were towels, hats, insect repellent and a very practical cooler for going out. The pool, although small, is cool and comfortable. We were able to stay until night without any inconvenience or discomfort, and with the speaker that they also left at our disposal in the room we were able to listen to music at medium volume. It is on an avenue that takes you directly to the center walking for less than 10 minutes, the closest is the Ecoparque and the magical ejidal spa. Definitely an excellent choice for accommodation.

Very good service from the host, the conditions of the house were excellent, the dock to the lagoon was a plus with a very good area to enjoy the water.

Everything is excellent, it has a parking space which is important when renting a car. Victoria was very attentive to messages and answered questions immediately The only drawback I could notice is that the thatched roof doesn't insulate the noise very well. If there are workers around or kids going into high school, you'll surely wake up early.

The accommodation is beautiful, it has extra elements that enhance the stay. I thought the living room and pool area would be small, but everything is spacious and a very good size. The person who welcomed us was very kind and I would definitely recommend it and return.

Meredith's place was perfect for our trip to Mahaual. The house was great to come home to every evening and had all of the amenities we could ever need. The pool and outdoor space were greatly appreciated after a long day of fishing. I wish we could have spent more time at the house but our trip was centered around fly fishing in the area. We would definitely stay again if it is available.

Excellent service and communication, my parents spent a wonderful few days, and it should be noted that they were moved to a better room for the low season, that gesture is certainly greatly appreciated, an excellent option to stay, I recommend it 100%

The place was exact as we imagined, the unpaved entrance road, but it's normal for a private place and by the lagoon. Verónica received us super friendly, we checked in very late at night and she was attentive and explained everything in detail. The place is very clean, the towels super clean, the beds too. As a note: They need an oversize or bedspread on top of the bed sheet, but other than that, everything is fine. It's a rustic place and I really liked that I didn't have a TV to appreciate the beauty of the area. I work remotely and the wifi worked perfect at all times. Victor (the host) is super helpful at all times and with a very quick response to any questions. Recommended if you go as a couple without children and you are looking for something very simple as you think you are out exploring the area.
