Our stay at the yurt was absolutely lovely. The space was very clean, cosy, and thoughtfully set up for comfort. Nadia and Harley were incredibly hospitable—friendly, responsive, and welcoming. We were especially touched by the surprise gift of homemade butter tarts—they were delicious and such a sweet gesture. Highly recommend this peaceful escape!

Peaceful Lakeside Cabin - No Neighbours

Very cozy cabin. Has everything you could need, all what you have to bring is your clothings. We even had the chance to taste their homemade maple syrup! Close enough to Bancroft but still tranquil, nobody can access the cabin but you. We saw people stopping by on the otherside of the lake but it feels OK and not invading, it is far enough to not care. Wildlife was abundant. We did not have much mosquitoes or annoying bugs outside and literally none inside. We went there as a couple with a dog and, once used to the space the cabin offers, did not feel squeezed, although it is not huge. Hosts were very kind and responsive. If you like small, serene and cozy places, this is a must try.

We had a Great Weekend at Nimals Place. Everything was as described and it Looks Even better then on the pictures! Amazing view and completley private. Bring Bug Spray and make sure you don’t leave the door open. Awesome Place and Host! We will come back!

Idyllic island cottage on pristine Paugh Lake

We had the most incredible stay at this delightful cottage! The hosts were wonderful to communicate with and went above and beyond by leaving us fresh eggs and homemade sourdough—such a thoughtful touch. The kitchen was fully stocked with every tool you could possibly need, making cooking a breeze. The cottage is located on a peaceful island, just a quick 5-minute boat ride away. Upon arrival, we had help unloading the boat, which made settling in so easy. The highlight for us was Sunset Point Rock, where we enjoyed breathtaking sunsets. Swimming was such a joy. The whole experience felt like a dream getaway—cozy, clean, and truly a home away from home. For fellow nature lovers, we highly recommend downloading the Merlin App to identify the many beautiful birds on the island. The fishing was great. We found the Texas Rig worked best. We absolutely loved every moment and can’t recommend this place enough. Will definitely return!

Barry’s place was perfect for our family getaway. The home was super comfortable with everything you need provided. The inside and outside are beautiful and homey. The space was clean with a gorgeous location.

Can’t say enough good words about this place. Incredible property, beautiful cottage, and plenty to do. Darts, card table, pool, dock, everything you could ask for and more in an incredible area with a beautiful lake.
