Family-friendly vacation rentals in Athens

Great Airbnb if you’re going to Athens, especially if you have business at the university! The place is very nice and pretty clean. I would stay here again if I were to come back to the area.

Kay was a great host. Place was clean, comfortable, roomy, and well appointed. Close to restaurants, grocery stores, shopping. We came in for a Georgia football game and found the location to be convenient to Athens. Look forward to future stays. Highly recommend!

We came up for our daughter’s graduation and felt right at home. Very spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Easy to get to all of our events for the weekend.

Our stay was great! The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The complex was very safe and easy to navigate. Kira was very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend for a great stay in Athens!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is lovely and spacious with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The grounds and surrounding area are so pretty and peaceful. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful, and quick to respond both before and during our stay. Loved the hot tub too!

Ms. Carla was a great host she went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Her apartment is exactly as described it was so beautiful. The kids loved the movie theatre. We had to stay here as our home was under construction and it was our home away from home. She was an amazing host and I would come back. I can not express enough how thankful I am for Ms. Carla.

This was an amazing experience. I started communicating with John 13 months before my sons wedding to stay there plus host a large rehearsal dinner. ( it grew to 80 people!). John allowed - welcomed me- to come see the property to check out the layout for what I needed giving my caterer information and planning for our stay. I needed to move furniture and a few other things and when I asked John if it was ok, his reply was, “it’s your house”, and I truly felt that way. It was comfortable and allowed for my family to stay and as we had a few revolving guests, John provided extra linens. The rehearsal dinner was on a hot August night and I had told folks to bring a bathing suit. Several of the bridal party and friends jumped in! The animals were fun and when a few of the kitties jumped in the car when we were leaving we were tempted to steal them! Our caterer for that dinner and a farewell brunch lived the set up of this place as well. I honestly cannot recommend it enough! Thanks John!

Kathy’s place was perfect for our holiday stay! It was cozy and we loved the living room and game room. The beds were firm which we like, but some people might prefer something softer. The neighborhood was super quiet and peaceful which made it a nice place to escape at the end of the day. Also plenty of parking!

We have been fortunate enough to stay at Matt's place on numerous occasions. Private, quiet and exactly as described. This place is on another level. If you know, you know! Looking forward to our next visit soon. Thank you Matt!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kim's home for our daughter's graduation. The location was great being within easy walking distance to the venue, to the downtown restaurants, and to campus, allowing us to not have to hassle with parking. The home was spacious and well decorated, making it feel comfortable and cozy. We loved the porch and the comfortable couch and chair. There was plenty of parking off the street which was great. The kitchen had plenty of utensils, spices, condiments, and there was even fresh coffee beans and filtered water. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of essentials and none were outdated which is appreciated. Kim supplied more than enough towels and the home easily accommodates 6 people with plenty of room to spread out and with private bathrooms for each couple. Thank you for helping us make this a memorable graduation!

The house and the property were great! It was peaceful and spacious. Jamaica was attentive and communicative throughout the rental. Would recommend.

This was an amazing location. We we're at an event at UGA, and this location was at best a 5 minute drive there. There is a great shopping center right around the corner. We had our kids with us (12, 10, 8) and all the places we wanted to look okay we're within a 15 minutes drive. Jon was a great host, and was great to work with on the arrangements. I highly recommend this property.

Absolutely fantastic! We loved this space and location for UGA graduation. The apartment is beautifully renovated with so much more space than I imagined from the photos. Walkable to everything! My only negative is that I didn’t run across this place earlier in our journey with two kids at UGA, but I would definitely return if we’re back in Athens. Highly recommend!

Amazing place! The cottage is awesome and very peaceful, tucked way back in the woods. You are surrounded by farm animals, and if you'd like, each morning you can help feed and water them all! Kat is an amazing host and extremely fun and helpful. 100% will book and visit again. Highly recommend. Thank you again!

Lila’s place was very nice, perfect for families. She had a lot of toys and baby items that made traveling a lot easier! The house was very clean. The screened in porch and backyard were also great!

The good: The space was exactly as described — clean, stylish, and in a great location. The check-in process was smooth, and communication with the host was prompt and friendly. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like extra towels, coffee, and a sweet treat for when we entered. The bed was super comfortable, and overall, it felt like a home away from home. The not-so-good: Unfortunately, there were a couple of major issues that made the stay less than ideal. First, The Beds! They were super comfortable but you couldn’t get out of them. They had memory foam and you literally sunk into the bed which was really uncomfortable waking up or getting out of the bed. Secondly, The water inside the bathroom (pressure) and (temperature) there was something that just wasn’t right. The board games were missing things( the core things). Lastly, parking (abit) of a squeeze and tight for 2 average Vehicles to be parked on location. I hope you find this review helpful!

Fannie’s house was the perfect location for extended family in town for our daughter’s graduation. Instructions were clear and place is even better than described. The queen bed and pull out sofa bed was perfect for my brother and wife and their young adult son. Easy to walk to watkinsville woods and downtown watkinsville with its many eateries from local coffee shop to local restaurants. Thanks again Brian!

House was clean and great location. Check in and out was easy. House is walkable to UGA campus and restaurants. Host was very friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

In a word - extraordinary. I am a person who prefers luxury hotels. This house was fashionably decorated and was just a space you felt great being in. Everything was new and clean. Small details evident everywhere. Everything needed was just where you would expect it. And fresh roses on the table when we arrived? Incredible. Friendly and helpful hosts. Could not rave more. We loved it. And I am no pushover.

Andy’s place was exactly as described and perfect for our occasion! Andy was also very responsive and very helpful when I needed anything and we love that this place accommodates dogs! We would definitely stay here again !
