Lovely cottage in a beautiful area. Very peaceful with use of a section of the garden and a lovely conservatory looking out over it. Short walk to the Coast Path at Rinsey Cove. Short drive to the Lizard and also to Mousehole and the surrounding area. Great views from the bedroom. Appreciated the generous Welcome Pack. Kitchen well-equipped, although you might find it useful to bring a chopping board and kitchen scissors. Good selection of books to browse and read. Also good information on walks.

For the second year in a row, we stayed for a week at The Rookery with Sharon and Patrick. The Rookery is a top place for us to stay in Cornwall. Tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort. The B&B is centrally located in the south of Cornwall, so many nice, authentic coastal towns and the SW coast path are always within a short distance. Sharon and Patrick are great hosts. Upon arrival a warm welcome and there was a basket ready with all kinds of local delicacies. They provided us with good tips and we had nice conversations with them. For us a very nice place to come back again in the future.

This cottage was perfect in every way. The garden was really beautiful and lovely to sit in and relax. My dog Ralph loved it too. With it being enclosed, it gave him the freedom to run around without any worries for us. The house has everything you could need and the log burner was an added bonus for the colder evenings. Everything was very clean and tidy and the place felt very homely. It was a nice touch to be welcomed with some scones, jam and cream which we really enjoyed with a cup of tea. There is a lovely little pub very close by, with a great selection of food, which meant we could walk there in the evenings for dinner whatever the weather. There are lots of lovely local walks and the cottage is in such a perfect location that we were only a short drive away from everything we wanted to explore in Cornwall. Jane is a great host, always quick to respond and very helpful. We had a fantastic little mini break here.

We absolutely loved staying in Catherine‘s cottage! We were greeted by Catherine who was super nice and made us feel right at home. We especially loved the Scones that were waiting for us in the kitchen. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, and we had everything we needed. It was the perfect location for us to explore Cornwall for a few days during our road trip around the UK. We will definitely recommend this cottage to everyone who wants to visit Cornwall and we would love to come back for another stay.
