Vacation rentals with a home theater in Asheville

This is the fourth time I have stayed at Carolyn and Van’s. They go above and beyond to welcome and support. Everything I needed. Great view. Grateful.

Olivia and Nick were super nice! Very responsive and helpful. We were there for my son’s wedding. 30 minutes to Asheville airport. Min to restaurants and shops. House is looking all brand new and upgraded. So clean and nicely decorated. Although it’s a basement apartment, but lot of natural lights. A great kitchen with nice appliances. No stairs from the back door to get in. Very quiet and private place, and facing the woods. A nice, huge projector in Family room. We stayed for 9 nights. Hope we get the chance to go back and stay there again! Do not hesitate to book it. You’ll love it!

We loved our stay here! The studio was just as advertised and easy to find. The kitchen was clean and had everything we needed to do our own cooking for the week. They provided enough soap and such for us to get started and we only really had to bring more toilet paper. Otherwise everything was there that we needed. We loved the games that they had there for us to use and the snacks were perfect too. We will definitely be looking at staying here again.

It's so bright and lovely. It looked just like the pictures. The beds and couch are comfy and the area has great coffee shops and places to eat. Babette was a wonderful host and very responsive. We are looking forward to coming back.

We were at Lake Junaluska to attend a wedding. We decided to stay a couple of extra days to enjoy the area. Carolyn’s cute little apartment was just what we needed. She always responded quickly and was very friendly. We would absolutely stay at one of her properties again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were celebrating a 75th birthday and had a house full of family. I personally liked the second master bedroom set up with a king. The location was not too far to explore several local wineries. It’s also very close to a grocery store and tons of shopping although you feel like you’re in a mountain top forest. The house itself is beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed our time staying home as much as going out. Ping pong, shooting pool, movie room - you name it. Darryl was very responsive to every question we had the entire time we were there.

This is such a gorgeous and lovely space. It was perfect for our group and allowed many areas to be together and have space for ourselves. Super clean and the kitchen is well organized and has everything you need! Can’t thank the hosts enough for accommodating us on such short notice. We had a great trip! Would absolutely recommend and book again.

This house is incredible. If you're considering a stay- do it. It's spacious and comfortable. There were 4 adults, 1 12 year old, a 2 year old, and two dogs in our group and there couldn't have possibly been a better place. The beds were extremely comfy, the theater room was awesome, and the decor was impeccable. Evan was communicative and wonderful to deal with. It's located around 20-30 minutes from almost everything in Asheville. Could not recommend more.

We had my dream wedding here and it went above and beyond anything I hoped for. I have never been a traditional type and hosting our wedding here was the perfect space. Aaron went far beyond a normal Airbnb host by being responsive and helping us with so many decisions that he made it feel almost as if we were at a venue, but with so many more flexible and personal perks. Aaron assisted us once we got into the property to ensure everything was up to standard to host our wedding. With the help and guidance of Aaron, we successfully hosted 120 guests on top of this beautiful mountain escape. The ornate details at the home stand out. The beds are comfy as a hotel. The mountain views are unforgettable. I would recommend hosting a party, wedding or even a getaway upon this beautiful mountain mansion. At the bottom of the road are a lovely wine and coffee shop so you have access to shops close although you're nestled in the mountain. Very convenient to airport and other areas of Asheville.

The house was well appointed and very clean. No bad odors, just a nice and peaceful place to enjoy yourself. Good communication from the prop manager. All in all this was a great stay and a great property.

Jessi was always in touch and helped throughout our stay in the house. A variety of household essentials were provided, including towels, shampoo, soap, bedding, and kitchen utensils. We especially appreciated having a washer and dryer, as well as a home office. It was a pleasure to step outside in the mornings, breathe in the fresh air, and listen to the birds singing. The nearby road did not disturb the peaceful and secluded atmosphere. I recommend this place for those who want to enjoy some quiet time away from the city bustle. Jessi is an excellent host!

I booked this house for my tennis team who was in town for the state championship. It comfortably accommodated 8 adults and could have handled several more. The house looked exactly like the photos. The beds and pillows were comfy. The furniture was clean and the house was well stocked. Pastries, fresh flowers and a snack basket were nice touches. The main den and dining room were a great place to congregate. The movie theater was our favorite thing about the house although we didn’t have much time to use it. The only negative was that the road leading to the house was extremely steep as was the drive way. It was a little scary backing out. The driveway was extremely slick in the rain and I fell. It would have been nice if we could have locked the house from the lower entrance. The property owner reached out daily to make sure we had what we needed and responded quickly when we needed something. Can’t wait to come back to Asheville to stay here again! Definitely 5 stars!
