10/10 Highly recommend! This home was absolutely perfect for our weekend trip to the zoo. The location is ideal, close to shopping, restaurants, and anything else you might need, yet tucked away just off the main road for a peaceful, private, and serene setting. The home itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly inviting. It had everything we needed to feel completely at home. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, along with the perfect gathering areas for quality family time. This is hands down one of the best Airbnbs we have ever stayed in! To top it off, the hosts, Eric and Suzanne, were phenomenal, super responsive, kind, and just genuinely great people. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with our family, we can’t wait to come back!

This home EXCEEDED our expectations!! The location is secluded but close to everything! Every turn in the house there is something new and cool to look at! A crowd favorite was the “party bathroom.” We would 100% stay here again!

We had a lovely time with the family. Our entourage consisted of 5 adults and 1 three year old. We traveled to the area to visit the NC Zoo. The flexible check-in allowed for a late arrival after we suffered a car breakdown which delayed our trip, arriving at 9pm. The home was ready and waiting and was inviting after a long day. Everything was as expected and we settled in easily for a late dinner and then bed. Our next day was a wonderful, but hot and humid, day at the zoo. The home worked very well for us with three bedrooms and a nice inflatable bed in one of them, set up by our host, for my granddaughter. We all slept well both nights. The process of leaving was also very easy and we were on our way home in short order.

The host were very prompt to answer any and all questions. Place was very clean and if you are a outdoor or nature person it will be a great fit for you

We needed a place to stay for 9 nights while we were waiting to close on our new home. We were relocating from Columbia, MO to the Greensboro, NC area with two pets. We had closed on our home in Columbia 2 weeks prior to arriving at Duke’s Place. We had been staying with friends. It felt so good to arrive at Duke’s Place and have it all to ourselves! We were SO pleased when we got there. It is an adorable, quaint little home on an isolated property with a pasture. The home was beautifully decorated and very up to date. We enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen. I loved the beautiful soaker tub in the bathroom. There is a fenced back yard with a nice tall, wood paneled privacy fence that was perfect for our pets. Taylor is a wonderful host and was incredibly kind and responsive. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!

We loved our brief stay at the Mini Star Cabin. It was absolutely beautiful, well appointed, and the country side was lovely and peaceful. The hosts were very responsive to questions and quite helpful. I would recommend this place as a quiet couples retreat. Unfortunately we had to bring our two kids, lol. They slept fine in the living room but the shades didn’t make it very dark in the living room so the gremlins stayed up late and got up early. Would definitely love to come back and enjoy without the munckins!

Our stay was absolutely Amazing! The home was much better than we even expected! It is so beautiful and well decorated. All of the beds have super comfortable mattresses! The check-in instructions were very clear and easy to understand. Stephanie and George have gone above and beyond with their hosting of this home. Anything that you can think of or may need, they have already prepared for and have available. They have taken the time to create a notebook with so much information about the house, the area, the history and local recommendations. If you are traveling with children, this is the home for you! I have never stayed at a home that offered so much for children. Stephanie had snacks and bubbles waiting for my children at our arrival. No host has ever been as attentive and thoughtful as these two. There is so much to do at the house, we truly did not want to leave. We cannot wait to come back to the area because we will definitely be booking this super clean and beautiful home!

The main reason I chose this location was the wrap around porch. It was even more welcoming in person. The beds were all very comfortable, the living room furniture was very comfortable. Everything in the home was clean and the whole house smelled wonderful. You can tell how much time and effort they put into choosing the design and decor. We were on the trails all day, and came back and felt at home, and we were able to relax and enjoy the comforts of that “at home” feeling. Hannah was very responsive to all questions & needs for recommendations. There was ample parking. Check in & out instructions were very clear. Any information we needed for the home was listed in the app, in the home book, and also on the refrigerator, so very thought out. We will be booking this same property for future stays, as we visit Uwharrie. There is a bar & grill a few minutes back up to the main road, the outpost was closed by, driving into town was not too far. The Community was welcoming.

The place was exactly as it was described, very clean and in a great location that is near all the golf you can imagine! Everything was hassle free, would visit again in the future

The stay was absolutely amazing. Very friendly and easy to communicate with. Calm and safe neighborhoods, easy to walk around. Overall very relaxing and peaceful. Even got to peak in the backyards to see any critters roaming around!

Had a great stay in Davidson, while visiting family and this was a perfect spot to land! Heard some live music by Rusty Knox, Davidson’s mayor & enjoyed a great crab cake sandwich! Mike’s place was quiet, clean and a good place to do some remote work. Would come back again!

Amy and her husband Weibe were very helpful and friendly. Perfect location for 2 weeeks of cycling in North Carolina. The dogs 🐕, cats 🐈 and horses 🐎 were great and always there to greet us ... of course feeding them helped them warm up to us.

Super supportive host, gave instructions whenever needed promptly. Reached out to us when in need.

Had such a great stay for a couple days in Greensboro. The location was perfect and easy to find. I was warned about dogs barking but never heard them or had an issues with nosies from the owners. Perfect for a little trip.

Lori is a wonderful host very responsive. Their place is so neat and tidy. The pictures are just as described. A wonderful experience.

Place was very clean and she was very specific and helpful with parking. Her communication was on point and quick as well. I Loved that so many places to eat and a place to get coffee were available and so close. Nice place to walk around. The only complaint I have was the noise at night. Which is not under the owners control. And I realize we were in the city part of Greensboro. We were there for a soccer showcase and luckily, we only had to wake up early on Sunday and was able to sleep in Friday night and Saturday night. Overall I recommend staying at “The Spot”. =}

I would put this Airbnb at the top of my list for locations I’d definitely stay at again. The condo was PRISTINE and has been very well cared for. Even things like baseboards, ceiling fans were free of dust. Those are the places that reveal how well a property is truly maintained and they get an A++ ! I echo the comments of many other reviewers that this was a much better choice than any hotel. Yes, it’s a walk to the 3rd floor, but the stair well is very wide, indoors and carpeted. So it was a very easy, pleasant and stable climb. I felt very safe going to the 3rd floor alone. I don’t have a single critique. If you are thinking of booking, do it! 😉

A lovely apartment in a quiet part of town. It was exactly as described, extremely clean and tidy with all the noted amenities. Check-in / check-out was easy, with lots of helpful notes in the apartment. Location is super convenient for the ballpark and a short 15-20 minute walk to town. Just perfect for what I needed whilst I was in Greensboro. Thanks again, Darren

Absolutely wonderful. When we arrived, Stacey was working with her quail. She greeted us warmly. She seemed happy to chat, but I also got the sense she would understand if we just wanted to head in and relax. The place was lovely and had even more than we needed/expected - quail eggs (and instructions) in the fridge, snacks and fruit, and even an electrolyte mix (perhaps because I had asked about places to run). There were comfortable beds and fluffy towels. It was in a very quiet street, but still close to the freeway, grocery stores, and places to eat. Cannot recommend highly enough. Stay here and you will be glad you did!
