Family-friendly vacation rentals in Asbury Park

Mac allowed us to check in early, which was a huge help as we traveled with our 93-year-old dad. Upon arrival, the check-in instructions were clear and accurate. The house was clean and actually looked even better than the pictures. The pool was very nice, and my brother swam every day we were there. It was great to have a full kitchen stocked with a plethora of cutlery, plates, cups, pots, and pans. We had a small issue with the tv as it stopped working. Mac was on it immediately, and the tv came back on within 30 minutes or so. Although it was buffering when we first arrived, whatever Mac had his ISP do to the modem/router, the tv and internet worked seamlessly afterward. Overall, it was a great stay, and we would stay here again. We were very pleased with the home! Thank you, Mac and Shama for being such gracious hosts!

You will just love it here! The grounds are well-kept and attractive. The pool and beach were lovely. The only issue with pool area is as soon as it opens, individuals take ownership of the tables with umbrellas by placing personal items on them yet no one may be there for extended periods of time. Those tables are the only respite from the sun which makes it challenging. Additional umbrellas over the lounge chairs would help or, simply not allowing “reservations” for the day- even better. I would suggest BYO beach chairs- the ones there are not ideal although nice to have been offered. Although we always had our beach/pool badges in our beach bags, personnel were not strict whatsoever. The unit itself is neat, well-appointed, comfortable and well-kept. The sofa reclines with the push of a button but is not a sofa bed per se. There is a foldaway bed in the closet of the master bedroom but we did not use it because space was limited. So much is provided and available and the view is spectacular. It was great to use the washer/dryer for small bits of laundry. The porch outside had two anti-gravity chairs and a pretty rocking chair with small tables to enjoy. We closed the black-out drapes in the master bedroom and deck doors during the heat of the day so that it remained cooler. The rules are simple and the check-in & out are easy. Lasolas Market in Rt. 35 North in Normandy Beach was close by and a great little find - bought a beautiful sirloin at butcher shop there and used huge onsite grill behind pool area. We rented jet skis and did some crabbing at Dockside Outfitters in Seaside Heights - great place. The Rt. 35 North offered many eateries, shops and ice cream shops- The Music Man for ice cream was cute. Point Pleasant and Seaside Heights boardwalks are short rides. Glenn was easily reached via airbnb and answered our few correspondences promptly. We appreciated our experience and Glenn’s hospitality. Thank you!

Carol's place was fantastic and just a block from the beach. The kids loved the place and the heated pool was such a great benefit. The place was exactly as described and the perfect amount of space for our group. We had great memories at the house and will surely book again when back in New Jersey.

This is a spacious, cheerful and beautifully decorated home for your Spring Lake vacation! Layout was great, well appointed, walking distance to both the beach and downtown shops and restaurants! We very much enjoyed our visit, and sitting outside in the quiet yard enjoying the sounds of the surf. The pool wasn't open during our visit (in October) but it's such a great feature for summertime and looked spotless. Julia and her husband were super helpful and friendly - highly recommend!

Place is pretty cool pool was small but extra clean they have a nice hang out area in the back we had so much fun on the property we forget to go to the boardwalk

Me, my husband, and my 3 kids stayed at Brendan's house for 5 days in August and we had an absolutely fantastic time. Brendan was very responsive via text and provided us with all the information we would need (and answered all our questions) in advance of our arrival. The entire house and backyard/pool area were very clean. Brendan had provided brand new shampoos and body washes for the whole family, and there were also more than enough clean towels. We really didn't need to bring anything other than our clothing and food! There was every type of cooking appliance and spice available, as well as plenty of plastic/paper goods. Finally, the pool was the absolute highlight of the house and the pictures don't do it justice. Very well maintained pool and backyard with lots of pool toys for the kids. There were also two separate eating areas in the backyard. Even with all five of us in the house, we loved playing foosball, swimming, playing xbox, and using the house as our "home base" for our day trips to all the nearby beaches and attractions.

Property is a very good place to stay . It completely matched as describe in photos . It’s a very suitable place to stay for 3 families and 12 guests. Each family can stay in 3 different floors. 2 cars can park comfortably. Jason the property manager and host is very responsive. Over all it’s a gods and comfortable stay .

We had a fantastic stay in Seabrite! The home is as described—clean, comfortable inside with nice backyard patio and 2 front porches. The house is full of thoughtful touches and has EVERYTHING you need for a summer or winter get away. The location is perfect, close to the beach and right in the center of town Once the car is parked you can put away the keys until its time to leave. Check-in was a breeze. The host David is communicative and kind throughout the entire stay. We love this house and highly recommend it to others. Already booked for next year.

David’s place has everything you could possibly need for a weekend beach trip. We had a group of 14 and everyone was comfortable and well accommodated. The location is a 5 min walk to the beach. The house was absolutely perfect- newly renovated but still had the charm and beauty of an older house. Highly highly recommend.

We so enjoyed our stay on the beach! Highly recommend - the porch was stunning and was perfect for gatheirng family together for a cookout. Place was warm, inviting, and had alll the essentials. Short walk to the beach with chairs included at the house. Great Jersey Shore weekend!

This is a lovely older home that has been beautifully restored. It is in pristine condition, comfortable beds, ample pillows and towels, with plenty of amenities for the house and the beach. Easy walk to the beach, cafes, and Asbury Park, plus easy parking on site. The front porch was one of our favorite places to read, play a game, and enjoy our morning coffee. As it is an older home, the stairs are a bit steep to the second floor, but there’s not too many. Just something to note if there is a senior or small kids in your group. We loved our stay here and would stay again!

This was such a beautiful house to stay in! Close to the beach! Check in was seamless and Roger was super responsive and helpful! I can’t recommend this place enough! We had enjoyed coffee on the front porch and a bbq in the backyard. It was also really nice to have beach access cards, beach towels, cooler and chairs through renting this house. Made packing very easy and light. If you’re looking for a beautiful house next to the beach and a host who is accommodating, look no further- this is it!!!!

The house was absolutely beautiful! Very clean. David and Lian were very responsive! Kitchen was very well stocked for a family to stay multiple nights! The kids enjoys the ping pong table downstairs! The beds were very comfy.

Tracy was an excellent host, and she communicated very clearly and was responsive. She represented the property well in the listing. We had a great time at her place in Asbury Park!

We absolutely loved staying here! It was just what we needed! Grew up in NJ at the shore and moved to Nashville Tennessee years ago and we’re just craving getting back to the beach and some good food. Scott and Catherine were so amazing and very hospitable. We walked to the beach every night and in the mornings to the local bagel shop in town All Star Bagels and loved it. It was just what we needed. Loved Brooklyn pizza 5 minutes away in Bradley Beach for our pizza fill. Felt like home! Can’t say enough about these awesome people. We would definitely come back and stay again! Don’t hesitate if you want a stay on the Jersey shore in an authentic older Victorian style home with lots of character and the most amazing hosts you could ask for! Book it!!!!

Went for one night with my family & loved the space! Kim is super responsive and very helpful/accommodating. One of our favorite aspects was how updated and clean the cottage was, & overall a very “homey” experience.

The house was perfect for our weekend trip! It was clean, spacious, and perfectly located near restaurants and the beach. I would absolutely stay here again!

Host was flexible when I needed some tweaks to accommodations. She was clear and open about other guests on the property. She offered extra towels or anything else needed. Stopped by to say hello and welcome me to the cottage. Neighborhood and lodging were as expected since I am familiar with the area. I will stay here again! Love the short walk to the lake and ocean and bagel store!

Had a nice stay at MJ’s. The house is on a quiet cul de sac. The train runs behind the end of the street but when you have little kids that’s actually an exciting sight. It wasn’t noisy at all. When the train passed we heard it but not enough to wake up or be bothered by it. Close walking distance to the lake and the restaurants/shops. Didn’t get to enjoy the beach since it rained almost the whole time we were there but the home was very clean and cozy. We definitely would have eaten on the back patio or used the yard if the weather had been better.

This was the best vacation I’ve had with my husband in a long time, Penko was so kind and responsive. My husband and I enjoyed our morning walks down to the boardwalk, the space was clean and perfect for us. I would stay here again. I am thankful to Penko as he was always available and lovely to chat with. 10/10. Thank you Penko for giving my husband and I a week of peace and memories !

Home in Belmar was roomy, and comfortable. We were able to easily walk to the beach, and restaurants were a very short drive away. We had our adult family there, and they had spotless kitchen, with 3 full bathrooms, and and a nice area indoors or outdoors to dine together, or relax, play games, or watch movies. I would recommend it, and would definitely like to come back, and stay again!
