Aside from being a big beach destination, the town is well known for its lively night scene. Strips of bars, restaurants, and shops on the boardwalk offer late-night fun, or trying your luck at one of the many fair-style games; funky hats, glasses, and plushy prizes all included. Highly respected rock musicians have played shows here over the years, with plenty of music festivals also marking the small town as a stop on their tours.
