The Bunk House

The Bunk House is an 8 by 12 foot shed with 3-4 bunks. There is a twin sized bed across the back, a bunk sized bed on each side and a plank to pull out to accommodate a fourth person in the middle over the walkway. With this adaptation, you have an 8 by 10 foot bed. We provide foam mattresses, sheets, blankets and pillows. There is an air-conditioner and a heater. Bucket toilet behind the bunkhouse. Fire ring available. No pets. The water is from our deep well - tested, certified and delicious!

**New Beautiful Flooring throughout **If you're looking for a quaint, comfy space right in town this is it! Great for girl's weekend to visit family and enjoy the local shops. Hunters heading to Grand Pass Conservation area have plenty of room to park the truck and boat. Fitzgibbon Hospital and Saline County Fair Grounds are a 4 min. drive. MO Valley College Families are welcome perfect place to stay during games. Need refrigerator stocked after long drive?

The Scott house in the country.

This cute house is on a working alternative farm that raises grass-fed beef and lamb. If you want to get away from the busy life, come sit on the porch and watch the sunset. A state park is close for kayaking and canoeing. There are some very nice restaurants and wineries close by or you can cook in the large kitchen. There are some great biking trails and horse back riding in the conservation area that's 2 miles away.

The property is convenient and easily accessible, with a large parking area, although being next to I70 it is not quiet and secluded, expect road noise.( ear plugs and white noise machines are provided.)

Perfect place to lay your head! Paula has fixed up a great outdoor area in case you don’t want to sit inside. Camper was comfortable, clean and well stocked. Paula and her husband were just around the corner so you don’t have to be super knowledgeable on how travel homes work. They are there to help! Charming community. Perfect for river fishing, small town time to slow life down and decompress! Cute shops and places to eat. Would definitely do this trip again!!!

You outdid yourself! The beds were so comfortable. The AC units they rock, set them as you like the furniture. It’s so wonderfully antique so unusual pick a place to have a cup of coffee or tea. It’s all comfortable. Don’t forget to visit the tavern I hear the theater is amazing too soon for that but will be back. My husband is handicap and was able to easily navigate getting inside and getting a shower for us that is always a consideration. There were snacks when we got there which was a welcome thing. We were starving. James told us to bring food, but it was nice to have those sitting there waiting for us. Everything is so organized anything you could possibly need to cook with is there. We had a wonderful day, short, but wonderful thank you

There are no words to describe our stay. My parents came over for graduation and before they went back home we decided to just reset, and this was the perfect place for it. Not only was the house itself super lovely, it was fully stocked with everything we could have needed/wanted and more. Claudia was very accommodating and friendly and we were just sad we didn’t find the place sooner. We enjoyed it and will definitely be recommending it.
