Vacation rentals with a patio in Arcata

Heather and Eric's flat is absolutely gorgeous. Their instructions on parking and accessing the gates and doors/locks was very detailed and helpful. The place is very spacious and everything looks designer and brand new. We were 3 generations- and all parties reported that the beds were the most comfortable we'd encountered! The house is well stocked, the kitchen is immaculate and there is ample storage. The location cannot be beat- you are a half block from the adorable downtown Arcata Plaza- where there was a lovely farmers market, and plenty of shopping and nice restaurants. Heather and Eric's response time was basically immediate- although we encountered no issues and so I only needed to contact them with a few questions prior to our visit. I highly recommend the flat- it is well located, beautifully and comfortably furnished, and ideal for a group of up to 6. It felt very secure, the home is equipped with everything you need for a 5 star stay!

This was a lovely newly renovated space that was perfect for my significant other and I. It had everything we needed for a weekend getaway and was right next to the downtown area and was a quick drive to the beach! Jake responded immediately to our messages and made sure we had everything we needed. It was the perfect place to relax in.

Excellent location and great value, thoughtful and professional hosts, really enjoyed and appreciated staying here. Highly recommend to any business or vacationing travelers with a canine companion!

Wow! I can’t believe what a wonderful oasis Katie’s place is! Even more impressive, spacious, and inviting than the photos. The back patio and fire table is a gem, the beds are perfect, and the entire home is spotless. We were greeted and given an intro to the home, and welcomed with homemade scones, great cheese, fruit, cream, and even beverages in the fridge! This place is such a good location and value, and Katie and her husband make it that much better.

Beautiful, modern, and clean. The whole set up was very nice, and it even had a relaxing outdoor area. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean, peaceful, comfortable.

This was my first Airbnb booking. Shawna was the most gracious host. The home was very inviting, clean and quiet. Far beyond what I was expecting. The view was absolutely spectacular! Close proximity to Old Town. Many lovely shops to visit and everyone was so friendly. My father, sister and I made many many amazing memories. On our last night, we played the Monopoly game that Shawna had in the house. So much fun! We will definitely be returning again.! Thank you Shawna and Alan!

We so loved staying here. It was so peaceful, the home was beautiful and clearly a place where there has been a lot of love. Peter was wonderful - very friendly and responsive and he sent us some great local recommendations. Thanks so much for providing such a peaceful environment to relax between day trips. My son and I stayed at Carrie's place for three nights in late May. We went to explore the Redwood National and State Parks, and McKinleyville fit the bill! We were able to drive daily to our hiking spots, but were also very comfortable both morning and late evening at Carrie's home. Her house is close to Safeway for groceries (we also had pizza nearby) and was so easy to find. Very quiet neighborhood, but near everything one needs when on vacation. In addition, her home was very clean and everything worked well. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely studio in Eureka! My husband and I felt completely safe and comfortable throughout our visit. The accommodations were excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped—making it an ideal base for exploring the nearby Redwood Forest. We also loved trying Gill’s By The Bay, a charming local seafood restaurant just a short drive away, where the fresh food and bay views made for a memorable meal. Plus, the studio’s easy on and off access to Highway 101 made getting around the area hassle-free. We highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Eureka! The sound machine was a thoughtful touch that helped us unwind, and the bed was incredibly comfortable—just what we needed after long days exploring the Redwoods. The peaceful location, nearby beach sunsets, and hospitality made our trip truly special. We would definitely love to stay here again!

Lovely home — the house was clean and comfortable. Great for one night’s stay in Eureka on our way from Redwoods down to Mendocino. Stocked with the essentials and house was spaciousness for our family of four’s fam trip. It’s located on a main road so you can hear street noise during the day in the front bedroom with the king bed, but the road quiets down in the evening and wasn’t an issue trying to fall asleep (as someone who is relatively sensitive to street noise).

Stephanie was amazing! She helped us with suggestions before we even arrived! The place was exactly as described - small and cozy. Having the small washer and dryer was so helpful for us as we were midway through a long trip. Most of the windows did look out into neighbors spaces, and you could hear cars as they came through the alley outside, but it didn’t bother us. My kid loved the various games and the kitchen was well equipped for making our own meals.

This stay was absolutely incredible. The home is welcoming but the backyard will blow your mind. I’m a plant lover and was amazed at the beautiful flowers. There were plenty of birds to hear and see sitting on the deck or relaxing in the hot tub. The town is very welcoming and there’s plenty to see and do not too far away. I would stay here again!

Ian’s place is in a beautiful neighborhood near Cal Poly Humboldt. Very comfortable private home. Within walking distance to the Arcata Community Forest is key allowing for breathtaking walks in the redwoods from the home and back. Location is marvelous, also just a short drive to the quaint downtown. The home was cozy, clean and equipped with everything for a nice stay. I would be happy to stay again.
