Place was comfortable and clean. Kitchen was well stocked with all necessities. Rain shower was delightful. Plenty of towels and great for dogs with wonderful fenced yard. I managed to leave my pillow and blouse in closet. Great place.

The house was a relaxing retreat for our family after long days hiking in the redwoods. Amazing location with plenty of restaurants in walking distance. The beds were so comfortable, we wanted to write down the information to purchase them for our house! The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. We had great intentions to soak in the hot tub, but spent our evenings playing ping pong instead. It's good to have so many options. 😊 The backyard was also really nice, and we felt safe in the area.

She gave us a tour when we got to her Air BNB it was so charming & had everything we needed plus some It was very private & safe Enjoyed our stay greatly. 5 stars. Will definitely come back again

I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a cleaner air bnb! Everything was spotless, the bed was comfy, kitchen was well stocked, hosts were extremely accommodating of our needs, and we couldn’t have asked for more. 10/10 recommend!

What a cute place! The decor is so cheerful and inviting. We felt right at home while in town to see the redwoods. This place is a gem for those traveling with their pets. My dogs and I loved having a private side yard to stretch in between adventures. Very friendly and proactive hosts! Thanks for having us!

We first visited in 2021 and stayed in one of Alex and Allison's airstreams as part of our redwoods elopement. Every two years since, we've retreated to to this home on the same property. The space itself is tranquil and lovingly appointed. We've felt truly at home during our stays and have made so many memories with our now three year old. We love the somewhat removed yet convenient location of Manila. The beach is just a short hike away, and when you want to sneak off, Eureka and Arcata are both accessible by car in less than 10 minutes. The home is ideal for those looking to cozy up without any plans, or for adventurous spirits who need to rewind after a long day of exploring the coast/redwoods. And, did I mention THE YARD!? The variety of blooms are not only breathtaking but provide the perfect amount of privacy and a heightened sense of seclusion. Having a washer and dryer on site is a big bonus, we're glad to be going home without the burden of laundry.

My husband and I stayed here while exploring Humboldt county and we were thoroughly impressed. The location is fantastic, under 10 minute walk to town center with lots of shops and restaurants, great pizza place on the corner and bikes to borrow if we wanted. We loved the vibe of the place and neighborhood, very community-centric. The front porch was absolutely beautiful. The sauna was top notch and every detail on the property was ethereal and a mark of true craftsmanship. The staff was so kind and helpful. Make sure you hit the farmers market Saturday mornings. We will definitely be back!

Loved this sweet little abode in a quiet and private setting -- one of my fave Airbnb experiences. Soothing sand and sea colors (tans and blues), comfortable bed, lots of recommendations on things to do and see in the area along with many restaurant suggestions in downtown Arcata, which was only a few minutes away. I didn't cook but I appreciated the two burner electric hot plate included in the kitchen. Highly recommend this lovely space!

Lovely property. House is very inviting and the huge garden is amazing. My dog enjoyed exploring it with Celine's 2 little dogs. Walkable to trails, within 10 minutes drive to beaches, and 35-70 minutes to various parts of the redwood forests. Huge dog park nearby and Moonstone beach where dogs are allowed off-leash. Celine was friendly and helpful, providing lots of tips on where to eat and visit. She also gave me a can of bear spray when I expressed concern about hiking alone at Redwood National Forest. Would recommend!

We had a great stay! It was perfect for the quick getaway trip that we needed. Close enough to 101 that it was convenient to get to, but far enough to feel peaceful. I was surprised (not in a bad way) that the space was originally a garage, but very impressed in how they turned it into a guest suite. Everything was very clean. Michelle was responsive and made sure that we would have everything for a comfortable stay. She even has a binder of local suggestions which I appreciated more than just a tourist brochure. One small detail that I loved is the property has filtered water - I was happy that I didn’t have to stock up with water bottles from the store!

We greatly enjoyed staying in Bob and Amy’s place. It was cute and comfortable and homey. We appreciated the extra touches to make the space so inviting. Highly recommend!

Great stay, with a very clean and tidy place. Location is great as well, with shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Just a FYI for future guests, place does not include a TV. Wasn't a big deal for us though.

If you only have a little time to visit the redwoods, this is definitely the way to maximize your time!! The town of Trinidad is amazing and we definitely recommend taking the host’s advice on restaurants. Larrupin Cafe is a bit pricey, but worth every penny. You certainly feel like you are in the middle of the forest with this cabin, even if civilization is fairly close by.
