House vacation rentals in Aquitaine

Fantastic peaceful location. We stayed here for 2 nights to recharge whilst driving from the UK to Spain. It was exactly as described. The rooms were great, upstairs very comfortable and the views were lovely. Unrestricted hot tub time was a bonus considering we arrived at 11pm after a long day of driving. The pool was refreshing, not heated but it wasn’t needed as it was the perfect temperature. Very innovative. Only one remark: The key to the property was supposed to be an electric tag but they hadn’t told us this was not working and due to be fixed. Therefore when we went out for the day we had to leave the property unlocked. Obviously concerning but the location was very safe. I’m sure others would remove one star due to this, but there was so many positives about this place it would be unfair to lower the rating.

Un beau moment de détente après un long trajet en moto. Piscine, fontaine, lumières, espace naturel agréable et bien agencé. un petit déjeuner bien apprécié pour démarrer la journée. je recommande

Château très agréable , très belle propriété. Et beau jardin avec des arbres magnifiques . Maria nous fait un tour des caves et dégustation de vin, ce qui était très intéressant . Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse de maria et de sa maman qui étaient toujours soucieuses que notre séjour soit parfait

Absolutely fantastic! We were worried the pictures looked too good to be true, but the property truly matches the pictures. Stunning place in an unbeatable location. Hire car is highly recommended. We spent our honeymoon here and we couldn't have hoped for a better stay. Thank you!

Une très belle maison decoree avec beaucoup de goût, dans un superbe cadre. Nous avons pu apprécier le confort de la maison lors de quelques journées pluvieuses mais également du magnifique jardin et de la terrasse par temps ensoleillé. De nombreuses visites sont accessibles à proximité. Les hôtes sont acceuilants et réactifs.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable chez Mia. Le logement était très propre et fidèle à la description. Le cadre est apaisant et permet une totale déconnexion. Mia est une hôte très réactive. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Debbie’s place was amazing, meticulously clean and well equiped. The swimming pool area and private loggia was fantastic. Debbie offered heaps of advice on local restaurants and sightseeing and nothing was too much trouble for her she was there to help with even the smallest request She was a wonderful host and a stay is highly recommended

Notre séjour à Monfort a été extrèmement agréable. Quel bonheur de boire son café dans le jardin le matin face au château de Monfort. Certes le logement se trouve juste à coté de la route (donc si vous voulez du silence totale ce ne sera pas le cas) mais la vue et les environs font de ce logement un endroit tout à fait exceptionnel, ce qui en fait oublier ce petit désagrément. Morgane a été une hôte charmante et tout à fait à l'écoute. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement pour une pause hors du temps. Merci pour tout!

The apartment is perfectly located in a quiet street just 5 minutes walk from the busy town center. We were able to park our car every day in the street right outside the front gate. The apartment is very well appointed, modern, well equipped, exceptionally clean with very efficient AC. Emilie was very responsive to our communication. Overall good value, we were very happy with our stay.

Quand on ouvre la porte ,on découvre la beauté des lieux . Très bien décoré,dans les moindres détails. Tout le nécessaire mis à disposition Belle terrasse Climatisation Bonne literie dans la chambre et le BZ dans le salon Bref nous sommes ravis d’avoir passé 1 nuit dans ce bel hébergement .

Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis à notre arrivée, avec la proposition d’office de quitter un peu plus tard le logement que prévu car non loué le lendemain (je le précise car c’est super agréable et ça nous a beaucoup dépanné!). Le logement est impeccable, une literie royale et très confortable qui nous a fait regretter de ne pas rester plus longtemps. Tout le nécessaire est fourni dans la maison, vous n’avez qu’à poser vos valises. A l’extérieur, un immense jardin et une très belle piscine à disposition, qui sont plus qu’appréciables le matin au réveil. Encore un immense merci pour votre accueil, vous méritez vos nombreux avis très positifs ! Une belle adresse à retenir et un gite dans lequel vous pouvez aller les yeux fermés.

We had a friendly welcome from Deborah, Simon, and their dog. The Coquet Cottage was beautifully decorated with lovely touches like linen bedding and a nice kitchen area. The grounds were beautiful, our dog loved spending time outside. The outdoor tub was very welcome on a hot day. The hosts recommended the local lake and some dog walking routes. A beautiful part of France, only wish we could have stayed longer!

Wir waren mit der Unterkunft sehr zufrieden. Alexandra hat immer schnell reagiert und ist sehr zuvorkommend. Im Hochsommer könnte es in den oberen Schlafräumen warm werden, da die Klimaanlage nur den Hauptraum im EG umfasst. Ansonsten ist es eine schöne Unterkunft mit einer tollen Strandlage.

This Airbnb is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The cottage is beautifully decorated , very romantic, with everything you could possibly want. The garden is also very pretty. Although it's only a 2 minute walk to a bakery, small supermarket and quite a few restaurants, it is in a quiet location. There is also a farmer's market on Monday mornings. We just loved everything. Chantal was extremely helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to see. Highly recommend staying here. Thank you so much Chantal for sharing your gorgeous cottage.

Pool is about 8m long & 1.25m deep and was perfect for us in the warm weather, while the stone building keeps cool during the day. Secluded rear courtyard with umbrella is nice for outdoor meals. 10 minutes drive to the nearest town, so a car is essential. One (nice) restaurant within walking distance.

Sarah's cottage in the middle of the vineyard was a great place to stay. It is peaceful and the scenery was beautiful, while being convenient to many areas in the Bordeaux region. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Sarah and her apprentice, Samuel, were very friendly and accommodating. The wine tasting and tour were really interesting. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a 3 night stay here and wish it was longer! Such a clean and peaceful place. Super close to the beach to catch some waves, eat good food and simply enjoy the beach or go for a walk in nature. There was a massive fridge, nice if you’re with more people and want to have a nice bbq night. We were only with 2 and the house really felt like coming home. Indoor and outdoor. Nice spot for my morning Yoga and breakfast in the sun. The overall design makes it fun and brings you in complete holiday mode. The aircon keeps the house nice and cool. We just spent 10 wonderful nights here. What can I say apart from it was perfect. Yves and Scarlett are great hosts. They are on hand if you need them but very discreet the rest of the time. The barn is very well equipped and has everything needed to self cater. The grounds are amazing and kept in fantastic condition - we regularly used the pool and hot tub. There are 4 resident donkeys, a small dog and a cat. All are lovely - the donkeys are a pleasure to watch. We went out to a town called Salies de Bearn and would highly recommend it for nice scenery, cafes, bars and restaurants. There are supermarkets and bakeries in nearby towns. The hosts are great at making recommendations. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back ☺️

We had the best week in this beautiful house. The outlook and the facilities were perfect and Lili was a fantastic host. Would recommend.

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

I really can’t recommend Philippe and Alain’s place enough and our stay was delightful from start to finish. Not only is the property set in beautiful surroundings but the accommodation itself is lovely; full of character and is charming and spacious for a couple. The hosts themselves are also delightful. Philippe was exceptionally helpful throughout the process and extremely responsive, answering our questions and helping us when we were looking to book a local taxi at short notice. He made the effort to meet us when we arrived and spoke to us regularly during our stay; always kind, polite and friendly. Thank you for a fantastic stay guys!

Christelle met at the house and kindly showed us around. She is an absolutely lovely lady and extremely kind. The house is perfect and is even nicer in reality. From start to finish our stay was superb in every way. Totally private with fab views. The house is large with a great kitchen and fabulous bathroom. Everything is new and very clean. The bed was big and super comfortable. Christelle has thought of everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable. It’s one of the best Airbnb’s we have ever stayed in.
