Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Aquitaine

Beautiful stay at Monsegur. Very private, peaceful stay with friendly locals. Julien is wonderful- nothing is too much bother and we visited his parents family run restaurant which was opposite the house and our favourite place to eat during our stay. Kids loved the pool and garden. Highly recommend.

My friend and I loved our stay at Julie's. The accommodation is tastefully decorated and it is very functional. Conveniently located for touring the area. We'll be happy to go back!

Arrived in a 9-person minibus, all retired and not necessarily good walkers, the place immediately filled us with both the services and the welcome of Kattalin's parents, unfailing simplicity, a kindness rare these days, a breathtaking landscape and view. On the last day, we allowed ourselves to grill with local products, on a sunny terrace, what more could you ask for. I think I'll keep this address in a corner of my mind because in half an hour, you're in Spain, caves and chasms nearby, welcoming restaurants and the sea 3/4 hours away. Thanks to Kattalin and her parents and their grandson who I know will be a farmer like we'd like to see. Thank you

The house is really perfect for a break from everyday life with friends, ideally located and very well furnished. It is clear that the construction of the house was done with the well-being of future vacationers in mind. I have absolutely nothing to complain about, even without having seen the otters! We were lucky enough to meet Gertjan who is really kind and available, and we had Helena by message who is just as nice and responsive. We will come back without hesitation!

It is a small village with about 10 houses. 2.5 km up the mountain at the end of the road. Wonderfully quiet. Spacious house with all amenities. Downstairs, a lovely shower. Good double bed in the bedroom with a child's bed. Very friendly host who came to welcome us.

Louis-Antoine was a welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable host who gave us a thorough and thoughtful introduction to both the apartment and the city. His recommendations for things to do and places to eat and explore in Bordeaux were spot-on and much appreciated. The apartment itself is in a fantastic location—just steps from the beautiful Jardin Public, where we enjoyed several relaxing walks. It was clean, quiet, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We truly felt at home. We would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Bordeaux.

We had a pleasant stay in a very nice apartment in the heart of the city of Bagnere with all the advantages (shops, market, and excellent little bar/wine cellar next door) and without the disadvantages of the city (no noise nuisance). A big thank you to Tiphanie and Thierry… we recommend this place for a total disconnect😉☺️.

Stephen and Anna were very clear and available, the little touches, the quality of the accommodation and amenities, everything was perfect, we greatly enjoyed our stay and will come back without hesitation!

Paula met us when we arrived to show us the apartment and was very helpful. The location is very rural and beautiful with walkable trails from the house. Well organized kitchen for cooking meals. Lovely yard to relax , we had a lot of rain but when the sun came out we really enjoyed sitting out. Paula and her family were very kind and respectful.

Very satisfied with my stay in this apartment ✨ It is beautifully decorated, functional and pleasant. I had a great night. The video projector as well as the "fake fireplace" are very nice. The instructions are clear for coming to the accommodation, communication is great too. I would recommend it without hesitating!!

Everything was as described. Lovely views from the rooms and loved waking up to views of the mountains. Would recommend.

We had a particularly pleasant week in Marion's beautiful apartment. Michèle and her husband's welcome was perfect, we were able to arrive earlier than expected, which was very useful for us when we arrived on a Sunday morning. I would recommend this apartment, which is among the most remarkable we have occupied. This is a place to remember for a future stay in this beautiful city of Pau.

Such a wonderful location, so secluded and peaceful. We were welcomed warmly and calmly. The house was spotless, the pool was lovely and warm and the house is much larger than it appears. We particularly liked the huge bed. Coming from England we were excited by the shutters and it was perfectly dark. We slept so well. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. We will be coming back next time we are in France, and next time bringing friends. It was wonderful.

Philippe is a very welcoming and very pleasant host. The house is particularly beautiful and well maintained. The setting is superb! The views are breathtaking. The accommodation is very well arranged and very clean. Nothing is missing, generosity is felt. Comfort and quality are waiting for you. The presence of Kiwi is a real pleasure for cat lovers. 😉

This is the second time we have stayed at Loustalet. Need I say more? Extremely comfortable home, everything we needed for a family holiday. Nightingales sang in the woods, buzzards and kites soared above us and we were visited by hares and deer in the garden. The house is well situated for what we needed in Castillion la Bataille and close enough to enjoy Saint Emilion and Libourne. Our host was extremely attentive and helpful yet respected our privacy and we are surely to return again.

Serge’s place is amazing. We spent a lovely 10 days there in May and it was exactly what we were looking for. It’s walking distance into the village which has everything you need, and the place itself is clean, well appointed and in a beautiful setting with its own lake. Serge was so responsive and kind to us during the stay too - he went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!

House as described, in perfect condition, beautiful volumes, nice decoration, quality bedding, very pleasant to stay in. The contact is very friendly with Marion who does not hesitate to offer flexibility on departure and arrival times if she has the opportunity. We had a pleasant stay.

This is the most beautiful AirBnB we have ever stayed in. The house was immaculate, the pool was warm, the hot tub was clean and there were so many lovely touches on arrival, including a bottle of red and white wine and a little bunny rabbit for my little girl. The house itself is fully equipped with everything you can need, including a racelette machine, air fryer and a washer/tumble. The area is amazing, so close to Creon and Bordeaux, surrounded by the most beautiful vineyards- I can’t fault it! Arnaud was the perfect host, so friendly and responsive and helped us so much in the weeks leading up to our stay, contacting various golf courses and restaurants. He also facilitated our early check in at short notice - which was hugely appreciated. This place is an absolute must and we are already planning our trip back! Thank you so much Arnaud for an unforgettable holiday!

Great place to stay - lots of garden around the house to relax in and fabulous pool. Beautiful surroundings and good base for exploring the Dordogne. Tim and Nathalie were great hosts and we enjoyed the buffet on our arrival and the pizzas later in the week.
