We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is beautiful and our overall experience was fantastic. Tim and Nathalie were fabulous hosts. We can’t recommend this place enough and we look forward to visiting again next year.

Fabulous gite in a gorgeous setting.

A gorgeous old stone house with chic updates. We only used 3 bedrooms and they were all comfortable with modern baths. Many places to gather, especially outside. The living room was lovely and welcoming. The farnhouse kitchen was very well supplied. The pool house was to die for and we had cocktails and even dinner there one evening. The views! Gorgeous, with castles and hot air balloons. The hosts live on site and were delightful when we ran across them but very discreet. It definitely felt like “our” property. Nothing negative to say, and we were blessed with fabulous weather! It’s in the heart of the must see towns along the Dordogne, with many restaurants and sights within 5-10 minutes. Thank you for such a wonderful stay, Christophe & Geraldine! We had a fantastic time. The house is beautiful, even better than the pics. Each bedroom has an ensuite and is similarly sized and beautifully decorated - the beds are comfy and the shutters made for a great night's sleep. The kitchen and living area are both spacious and cosy with everything you could need. The garden and surroundings are stunning! A peaceful haven. Featuring a swimming pool, great views, table tennis, lawn games and a barn with even more games. Would highly recommend, we had a brilliant time.

What a beautiful discovery! We were delighted by our stay at the Ferme du Moulin de Paillères, located on a beautiful estate. Myriam, our very friendly hostess, welcomed us very warmly and we were delighted to be able to chat with her throughout our stay. Thank you again for the little welcome touches. The cottage is superb, spacious, very well arranged and equipped as well as tastefully decorated. We were able to enjoy the beautiful shaded terrace for lunch and dinner. And what about the view? Exceptional! The place is fabulous and offers a total change of scenery. In love with nature and calm, we were delighted. The large and beautiful swimming pool located a few meters from the cottage, also with a beautiful view, also gave us good moments of relaxation. This is definitely one of our best AirBnB rentals. The whole family has been won over. We recommend it warmly.

a peaceful and quality cottage!

The best lodging we've had on this month long trip to France. Beautifully and comfortably decorated, private but close to all the things, the best sleep I've had in years, wonderfully appointed kitchen. Heads up that there is a washer but no dryer, but we managed fine with the very large drying rack provided. Would not hesitate to recommend, I wish I had spent more of my time here.

Nathalie and Hubert were very kind and friendly. The place was pristine, beautiful and relaxing. You have to hire a car to visit places in Bordeaux but Hubert provided many great suggestions of local wineries and things to do. He was always responsive and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone thinking about visiting Bordeaux.

This Airbnb is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The cottage is beautifully decorated , very romantic, with everything you could possibly want. The garden is also very pretty. Although it's only a 2 minute walk to a bakery, small supermarket and quite a few restaurants, it is in a quiet location. There is also a farmer's market on Monday mornings. We just loved everything. Chantal was extremely helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to see. Highly recommend staying here. Thank you so much Chantal for sharing your gorgeous cottage.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Marine and Christian's. The grounds are beautiful, with a secluded pool and animals everywhere. We had everything we needed in the house and really appreciated the extra touches - hot tub, on-site massages and horse riding. Christian and Marine were warm and incredibly accommodating. A great location and beautiful setting. Cosy, suited the two of us. Bedroom was a little cramped and the room we were allocated made it difficult to stand up. The views are great!

Great place for exploring the Dordogne countryside and surrounding areas. The house with a nice outdoor terrace with dining table and seating allowing us to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area and to listen to the birdsong. The house had everything we needed and the kitchen was well equipped and we lacked for nothing. We booked very late and Pauline was very helpful and accommodating of our requirements, and the communication was excellent with lots of suggestions of things to do and places to go.

Extremely hospitable and welcoming hosts. Made us feel right at home, almost as if we were friends of the family! Very helpful and responsive on messaging, provided excellent recommendations of things to do (recommend the kayaking) and even invited us to the local village fête de musique. A wonderful, relaxing and memorable time which we would certainly recommend.

You couldn't wish for a better host than Arnaud! Proactively checking if everything is to their liking, or inquiring if help is needed. Through the app to respect your peace and privacy, but take the time for a conversation if you want. The accommodation is new and cozily furnished with attention to details. We felt right at home there! The thick walls keep heat out and you can have a good night's sleep in the lovely beds and good sound insulation. The location is conveniently located relative to the many attractions in the area. Much has already been written about it in the introduction of Arnoud and Elodie, but if you want to swim quietly, relax on the side and lie in the shade under the trees with a catering facility, go to Pont de Vicq in Le Buisson de Cadouin. The town of Monpazier is also well worth it! Normally supermarkets are miles away but in this place there is one 900 meters away. Arnoud, Elodie, thank you for the wonderful time!!

We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful house and our expectations were far exceeded. The location is perfectly quiet yet central, so we could easily reach everything in the area. The house itself is tastefully decorated, extremely clean and offers plenty of space for a relaxing break. A special highlight was the incredibly back-friendly mattresses - we rarely slept so well!!! It was really relaxing to wake up rested in the morning. A detail that takes the stay to another level. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and responsive to our questions. They have thought of everything, from small welcome touches to tips for the area. We really felt at home and were able to fully enjoy the time undisturbed. We would recommend this house to everyone without hesitation! A big thank you to the hosts!

We had a great weekend at Margaux's. The accommodation is perfectly in line with the photos: clean, well maintained and very pleasant to stay in. The spa, like the charming hut that houses it, is of high quality and invites you to relax. The garden, beautifully landscaped and well-kept, is a real little haven of peace… and what a pleasure to see the little chickens frolic freely! Margaux and her spouse are caring, responsive and available hosts. Communication was smooth from start to finish. The bed is very comfortable and the master suite is simply superb. Small downside: the proximity of a road axis brings a little noise, but this does not spoil the experience, as the place is pleasant. We'll be happy to go back!
