It’s feels like pressure to write a review that stands up to ALL the other incredible reviews. I suppose we should stop there because that says it all. But we will add this: Ellie and Tower either wrote the book on hospitality or they read it 100 times. There is no doubt you will get the sense that everything is done with an eye to making you happy and comfortable…. And they do that in Spades. If this place caught your eye… act now… it will capture your heart as well.

My recent stay at the lake house was nothing short of magical. Nestled among towering pines, the location offered breathtaking views of the shimmering water, perfect for morning coffee on the deck. The house was charmingly decorated, with cozy furnishings that made it feel like a home away from home. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing for delightful family meals, and the outdoor fire pit was ideal for evening gatherings under the stars. I particularly enjoyed the tranquility of the surroundings, making it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Overall, it was a refreshing retreat, and I can't wait to return!

If you value coziness, warm and inviting environment, responsive, friendly, and attentive host then Cozy House will not disappoint. From the moment you start communicating with Vera she lets you know you’re in great hands. She wants your stay to be the best possible. I highly recommend you spend few minutes reading about Vera and her family history. Only then you’ll understand Cozy House was decorated with love, with family in mind. The location couldn’t be better, safe, peaceful, beautiful surroundings, within minutes from all the amenities and lakes. My family and I enjoyed every moment and created lasting memories together!

We had an amazing time at the lakehouse! Tim and Marissa are super communicative and left many helpful directions! The property is beautiful and the house felt like home away from home! I can't wait to go back! 10/10 recommended 😊

We came here for a private getaway on our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The price was a bit much, but for such a special time I felt it was worth it at the time I booked, and worth it it certainly was. beautiful, quiet, serene, it was perfect for a getaway. I would absolutely recommend, and I already have, this stay. 10/10

Hutch’s Bluff was a great house in a fabulous location. There was all that you needed for your stay as well as beautiful view of the river. We felt right at home and it was so peaceful and relaxing. Will definitely return.

This was a fantastic stay. The house is in a great location a beautiful view in the backyard and a great pool aswell as hot tub. The host were very kind and accommodating and I recommend anyone in the area the check them out 10/10 experience!

Place was amazing! Beach is so nice and relaxing, we loved the sounds of the waves with the sunset. Great place for a family vacation or couples get away. There was horse riding near by, the place we went to was horseplay and it was great. The front room was great for relaxing after spending time by the water or doing other activities!! Kitchen was really nice, the little coffee maker was perfect in the morning for yummy quick coffee. Bed was super comfy in the main bedroom. We used the extra room for our luggage, worked out perfect.

This was the BEST Airbnb we have stayed in to date. Kari thought of everything when designing this home. The decor is beautiful, and she had everything there that you could possible need! We also loved the fact that she used natural soaps, and cleaners etc. This was also the cleanest house! It is so quiet and serene there. We only left to go buy groceries to cook on the gas barbeque. It was so peaceful watching the wildlife as we fished, and then sat by the firepit in the evenings. This is the perfect place to reconnect and and enjoy nature. Just what we needed. I am already trying to figure out when we can go again.

Review This was our second time staying in this adorable cottage. We spent 10 days in 2023 & we just spent another 10 days! (May/June 2025) We would love to return again in the future! Clean and cute with a small private beach and gorgeous sunrises! The screen porch and outside shower were a plus! The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Kayaking was fun! We brought our bikes and daily biked around the area and we also walked the charming town of Urbanna. We attended church at the Urbanna Baptist Church and met several of the locals who were so friendly and welcoming. What a relaxing delightful place! It was a pleasure meeting Ned on our first day. We cannot say enough good things about this enchanting place. Thank you Ned and Holly for sharing your cottage with us and for the great communication! We hope to visit again!

Amazing stay! Jude and her dogs and her husband are truly amazing people! We had a wonderful stay and would come back in a heartbeat!!! We spent our honeymoon here and it was magical- best place to honeymoon! Jude was the most amazing host!

This place was amazing and such an awesome find for our trip. Host was super communicative, and the place matched the description. Would have loved to stayed longer. Fun time kayaking, hot tub, fire pit and the place had everything we could imagine. The restaurants were great too

The layout of the house was so gorgeous and homey, and don't even get me started on the bathtub! At no extra cost she decorated the bedroom for our honeymoon, and provided some sweet treats and a bottle of wine. Definitely will be coming back!

My wife and I were looking for a relaxing, peaceful place to spend our wedding anniversary and John’s place more than delivered. The grounds were beautiful and the views were breathtaking. The house was clean and cosy with large windows for letting in the sunlight and fresh air. The sounds of the river were incredibly calming. Leave the white noise machine at home and let the river sing you to sleep! Our dog had plenty of room to run around the property and she loved daily visits to the river, as we did too. The nearby town had some nice restaurants that John recommended, the Heron being our favorite! We had everything we needed and plenty of accommodations were provided, but it was clear that if you needed anything, John would make it happen for you. We loved this place and would absolutely stay there in the future.

A Perfect Lake Getaway! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful cabin on the lake, and I can’t recommend it enough! The cabin was incredibly clean and well-maintained, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere for our stay. The peaceful surroundings made for a truly relaxing experience. Brooke was an amazing host, making the check-in process seamless with clear and easy instructions. He was also very responsive and attentive, ensuring that our stay was comfortable. Additionally, we loved exploring the nearby downtown Belmont, where we discovered some fantastic restaurants. It was the perfect combination of nature and great dining. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with a beautiful view and wonderful hospitality, this cabin is the place to be! We can't wait to return!

My family and I had a wonderful long weekend getaway at Veaux Pines. Beautiful house and beachfront with a great vibe and lots to do right on the property. Katy was very responsive and helpful in answering all our questions. We hope to make a return visit!

We absolutely loved staying at Rivers Edge! Cutest little cabin with the best view! We got to see a fox across the river looking for some food and a family of deer crossing the river this morning before we left! Cabin was stocked with everything you need and the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in! We will be back and refer all our friends to stay at this mountain paradise!

This is such a cute and cozy little cabin! There is a home nearby but with all of the trees it still is a very secluded and private stay. Just what we needed to relax and reset! Home is clean and all the little details and decorations seemed so thoughtful! There is so much to do even just at the cabin. From board games, corn hole, hot tub, or just hanging out around the fire pit or on the hammock, there is much to do between all the nearby adventures. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

This place is a true oasis. Had an incredible experience here. Perfect little getaway for two. This place has a lot of love poured into it. Come here if you need to unwind and recharge!

Had a peaceful adventurous get away at Andrew’s Airbnb! Lots to do near the area like state parks, and Jim Thorpe! Everything looked as in the pictures for an ideal camping experience. Beautiful bathroom and personal shower!

Melanie’s place was absolutely incredible and exceeded expectations! The entire cabin was extremely clean and well-kept with great amenities (including an awesome coffee bar). The area surrounding the cabin was quiet and beautiful. Check-in was a breeze and all instructions were very clear. Melanie was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for an amazing stay. 10/10 would stay again whenever we are in the area and looking for a place to get away!

It’s simply perfect. Cassie and Jason have thought of everything you could ever need for a cozy cabin weekend away (and more) with board games, tea and coffee, a pellet stove and welcome treats. It’s clean and beautifully designed, and the little touches make you feel right at home. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to others. Thank you for an unforgettable stay ❤️
