Boutique hotel vacation rentals in Anuradhapura

Wir wurden ganz herzlich empfangen mit einem Begrüßungsdrink (frisch zubereiteter Papaya Saft). Danach würden uns die Koffer in das Zimmer gebracht. Die Zimmer waren makellos sauber und sehr gepflegt. 5 Sterne für die Sauberkeit der Zimmer, das hat uns sehr beeindruckt. 5 Sterne plus gibt es aber für den Service. Man hat uns auf Nachfrage kalte Getränke aus der Stadt geholt. Der gute Mann wollte dafür nicht einmal höhere Preise als die aus dem Laden. So etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt. Abends würden wir mit Wassermelonen und Bananen bedient. Der Gute war immer hilfsbereit und für uns da, selbst bei unserer Abreise um 5 Uhr morgens immer ein Lächeln auf dem Gesicht. Ich kann allen dieses Hotel empfehlen!!! Vielen Dank für Alles!

Our family was very happy with our short stay at the hideout. The hosts communication was brilliant throughout. We had contacted them before we arrived with numerous questions which they always answered promptly. The pool and outdoor area was lovely, clean and relaxing with great views from the lookout area. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the lovely chef came out to say hello in the mornings and was kind enough to make pancakes for my fussy son when he wouldn’t eat anything on the menu. We also loved the breakfast and had two lovely evening meals in the restaurant during our stay.

My room was large and clean, with a large, comfortable bed complete with large mosquito net, an en suite shower room and toilet, air conditioning, but no eating or cooking facilities. I did have the use of the fridge on the ground floor - beware of man-eating mosquitoes there. The location was quiet and a bicycle was available for exploring the area. There was a good restaurant / bakery across the road, the railway station was 5 minutes away by tuk tuk and the Old City about 3km away. Everything was satisfactory.

Thank you for the great stay. We had a wonderful time at Chathurika. The accommodation has a fantastic location by the lake. We were able to observe a lot of birds and animals. The room was super clean & beautifully decorated. We felt very comfortable throughout the house and were able to relax very well. There are many attractions to explore nearby. The food was delicious & we had the best tuna on our trip. Big recommendation. The entire team was super friendly & helpful. We would love to come back again :-)

Der alte Mann der uns das Zimmer gab hat uns einen tuk tuk Fahrer organisiert. Mit dakshina konnten wir problemlos überall hin. Er hat uns vieles gezeigt. Am Abend vor der Abreise nach kandy sagte er, dass er uns zur busstation bringen würde. Am Morgen allerdings hatte er uns bereits in der smsapp blockiert. Sehr sehr schade. Das calm cabana können wir aber empfehlen um dort 1-2 Nächte zu verbringen

A place thats equal parts architectural delight and aesthetically charming. The villa is surrounded by greenery in abundance, quiet and peace and a warm and friendly staff. The historical and cultural landmarks are located at a convenient distance. The place offers hot and freshly cooked meals, including Sri Lankan cuisine and you can even learn how to make some of it from the chef who offers cooking classes! A nice and cozy stay in the middle of a forest for those who are looking for some peace & quiet and a relaxing time.

The location was also very good. We were very pleased with our stay. Our host was very friendly and helpful , they made for you your choice breakfast if your another country to helpful for you. We loved food & house aesthetic beauty.
