Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Anuradhapura

If you are still considering which accommodation you should book in the Sigirya/Dambulla area, book this accommodation !! The best stay we had in Sri Lanka. The place is clean and cozy. The lake at the back of the house is beautiful at sunset. But the best part is Lahiru and his family. His mother makes a wonderful breakfast and everyone is very accommodating and friendly. We felt welcome from the beginning. Lahiru and his father drove us everywhere and picked us up for a top price and they were always reachable. (I recommend the tour to Ritigala with Lahiru, that was beautiful !) We will definitely come back if we come back to Sri Lanka. Thank you for everything !

This is a great address! The rooms are spacious, clean with all comforts. Madu and her team greets you and helps you plan your stay. Very good breakfast. Good dinner and if you want to change the kitchen there are good restaurants in Sirigya, not far away. I really recommend this address.

We had an amazing stay at this peaceful and serene place. The hospitality was truly wonderful, and the owner was incredibly humble, kind, and helpful throughout our visit. We had an early morning train from Habarana to Colombo, and he went out of his way to personally drop us at the station at 4:30 AM. That thoughtful gesture meant a lot to us and speaks volumes about his warmth and generosity. We’re truly grateful for the experience and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

The room was super clean and the bed was comfortable. There was hot water and mosquito net. The family was nice with me and their kid took me on a walk. Really good advices and help to organise visits if it was needed (he organised a tuktuk to take me to the sunrise hike in Pidurangala). They also have a restaurant in which they prepare amazing food. Therefore, I really recommend this homestay because on top of that is super cheap!! Thanks for everything

I didn't expected to enjoy so much this place. The hosts are just amazing people. Karu was so nice by taking his time to show us his garden, his plants, his usual work around the house, while his wife made the best dinner I had in Sri lanka. Big portions, totally recommend getting dinner here. Spending time with his family and enjoying evening talks was an incredible experience. Could call it a second home :) Also we got some nice tips for a bike ride through silent forest roads, enjoyed it so much we ended up going for 6 hours. Totally recommend. Thanks Karu!

Inoka & her family were very friendly, warm & hospitable, and helped me with all aspects of my stay, including picking me up from the local train station when I arrived late in the evening.

Friendly staff and worth for the money

We highly recommend staying with Salinda and his family, they are very friendly and helpful, they offered us a very good breakfast and dinner, they provided equipment to wash clothes after safari, which in the way they organize at a good price, so I recommend using the service. The rooms were clean, the air conditioning worked flawlessly.

We loved staying here. It was really back of beyond. Surrounded by really beautiful countryside it was a really relaxing stay. The staff looked after us really well, and were so helpful, and the food was fantastic. Just the place to stay if you want to get away and escape to the countryside.

Gayan's parents were lovely, they were kind, generous and very accommodating. It was the perfect spot for us. They had parking, was clean, had a net, was central to all tourist locations, gave us local tips, provided a delicious breakfast and were in general very lovely. Cannot recommend this more.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great breakfast and clean rooms. Loved the bed! Great airconditioner and lovely upstairs outside area to enjoy a wine or cuppa. One shower hot water didn’t work but a solution was offered immediately. One TV in reception area. Grounds were kept well, didn’t use pool. Would definitely stay again

Place is under new management and hiring new staff for the next season (end 2019). Our interims staff was very attentive and professional, food was excellent, location very central and quiet. Good base to explore the cultural triangle. Rooms were partly in need of maintenance due to some water damage during off season and are currently being renovated. The only thing we missed was a pool, which we were told they want to build until next season.

We stayed 3 nights with sithi and his family. He and his wife are amazing hosts and we felt at home Immediately. Sithi gave us great tips for our trip ans also some advice with our tuk tuk. He can also arrange a safari for you or pick you up at your location, if you like. Breakfast and dinner were delicious thanks to his wife. The room was big with A/C and mosquito net (which you will need in that area). Highly recommended!

Our stay at Miracle's was excellent. We were near to Royal Cave Temple and other sightseeing places. We walked into Dambulla town which took about 20 minutes but always tuk tuk available. We liked the peace away from the town. Roi and his family were so lovely, very friendly and happy. Roi was great giving us lots of information, he got us a driver for our onward journey to Polonnaruwa. Each morning we were served a wonderful and filling breakfast. We had a few evening dinners which were truly delicious. Stay at Miracle's you will not be disappointed......we loved it. Thanks to Roi, his sister, his wife and children

Our stay in Malaka's place was amazing. Malaka and Indica are super friendly and will attend your every need. Breakfast was amazing and always prepared at the time you want. we stayed 2 nights to go to Sigiryia Rock and the placement of the house was perfect for that. Lots of restaurants on walking distance!

Wonderful host and a great apartment to relax and start trips to Lions Rock and Pidurangala Rock. I felt very comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Centrally located. Walkable distance (3 min) to the bus stops to catch a bus. There is a Cargills around 5-7 min walk where you can find mosquito spray if that is bothering you. Wifi can be slow or not working during some time of the day. Walls are a little thin. The host was very hospitable. Breakfast was included. Good prices for what it is.

The food at the place was really great. In addition, we were able to see many animals during our stay.

We had a great time, a place to stay in the middle of nature! Clean and large room! We felt like we were at home, the host and his family were always available and helped us plan all the activities! Accommodation is in a beautiful location at night we would walk to eat! Breakfast prepared with great care and kindness! I recommend this place! Great experience I will definitely be back!
