Host was very nice, this is a house owned by him and he has a grounds keeper on site to help with guests. Many rooms in the house. We got in late and the owner made sure to come and receive us. The electric sockets in our room didn’t work, bathroom door was a little diffuser to close. Breakfast was great though and was Sri Lankan food which they can make if you ask them. Good value for money

Our stay in Anuradhapura with Indra was absolutely amazing! Indra was such a gracious and welcoming host, making us feel right at home from the start. One of the highlights of our stay was playing Mafia together on rainy days – it was such a fun and memorable experience! Pair that with delicious pizza nights, and it felt like the ultimate cozy getaway. The accommodation itself was fantastic, offering so many things to do on-site. We loved playing karom, which added a fun competitive touch to our evenings. The shared living space was a great spot for everyone to gather, relax, and connect, making it easy to meet others and share stories. The vibe of the place was so warm and friendly, perfect for unwinding after exploring the ancient city. We had such a wonderful time and would highly recommend staying here if you’re in Anuradhapura. Indra’s hospitality and the thoughtful setup of the space made our visit unforgettable!

5 min drive to the Lion's rock. We loved our stay at Sisira's place. His family were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Easy and flexible check in. The food were very tasty.

We had a great stay at this place. The host was friendly, kind and helpful. He made us the best breakfast, gave us good tips what to do and drove us with his tuk tuk to different places. Don‘t miss the sunrise hike to pidurangala rock.

We had two great nights at Green Wood's. From the first second, the sweet hosts greeted us with smiles and laughter, they made us feel at home and welcome from the start. The room was spacious and clean, in addition there was a lovely terrace where you could enjoy a cup of tea or other in the quiet and beautiful surroundings. Green Wood is located among trees and without noise from the road, but at the same time in walking distance from everything relevant in the area, so the location could not be better. Last but not least, our host cooked the most amazing homemade Sri Lankan food for us, both breakfast and dinner were amazing. Thank you for a wonderful stay and for infecting us with your laughs, smiles, and positive energy.

Anura and his wife's place is in a very nice neighborhood in Sigiriya. A little off the beaten path, but still quick to reach with TukTuk, scooter or bike. Lions Rock or Pidurangala Rock are each easily accessible in 50 minutes by foot. I felt very comfortable from the first second. The room was very clean and the air conditioning worked great. However, the highlight of my stay was the meal. Anura can cook phenomenally, there was something homemade from the Sri Lankan cuisine with dessert every night! I can fully recommend it - I'd love to come back!

It was a great place for my family. The place is nice and clean. All tourist attractions are neear by. Manuska is a calm, peaceful, and helpful person, He would do anything to make your experience a better one. The food was delicious, and his whole family was friendly and trustworthy.

The best airbnb ever. The woman who helped us gave us tea every day which was very cute and sweet. She helped us with everything and she’s an angel. The garden was amazing and the room was very big and clean. Definitely recommend!!! ❤️

Recommendation! A beautiful, small and still very new resort. Everything is designed with a lot of love. Simply a wonderfully quiet place in the middle of nowhere. The team is very young and incredibly friendly and committed. Everyone is very helpful and wants the very best experience for the guests. We can wholeheartedly recommend the resort! The food was also very delicious. We had a day of our breakfast on the observation deck overlooking Lion and Pidurangala Rock. Breathtaking view! The pool is also a dream!

It was very nice staying at Suranga's. The room was very clean and tidy. We found A/C, TV,the refrigerator,a water kettle with a choice of you and towels also for the use of the pool. We also took advantage of the catering service for our dinner, which was simple but very good. The staff was very friendly and available for our every request. The location is perfect, very quiet but only 10 minutes by tuk tuk from the city center (full of shops and great restaurants) and 10 minutes from the ancient sites of Anuradhapura. On foot in just a few minutes you can reach the beautiful lake where you can swim. We'll be back! thanks guys!

Nice and warm welcome. Very attentive staff and great location for a few days of sightseeing in sigirya! Restaurant offers delicious food for breakfast/lunch and dinner. Highly recommend

we had a wonderful stay here. The room was very clean, the bed very confortable. The AC was working very well, so we had a refreshing sleep. The communication with the two ladies was easy going. They were always ready to help us. We will come back for sure.

We had two nights in this beautiful place. The hosts are very friendly and flexible. You can also Rent a scooter for daytrips which is great. I recommend trying the awesome breakfast and Dinner. A very nice family and hosts.

Wow, what a stunning property - it is beautiful and extremely peaceful. It is a bit outside the main town, which makes it a perfect place to stay if you want to be immersed in nature and more secluded from the crowds. It is located on one of the lakes that is part of the bird sanctuary, which makes for great bird watching over breakfast. There is a beautiful view of the lake and some of the stupas from the top deck (go up to see the stupas lit up at night). Our room was lovely, spacious and very clean. We had breakfast and dinner, and all the food was fantastic - perhaps the best food we had on our trip (and I’m Sri Lankan so I have a high standard). Everyone working at the property is incredibly kind and wants to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. It was very cool to hear about the owner’s family and the way their heritage influenced the beautiful design of the property. This is such a unique stay - you really feel like you are guests in a friend’s house.

We highly recommend staying with Salinda and his family, they are very friendly and helpful, they offered us a very good breakfast and dinner, they provided equipment to wash clothes after safari, which in the way they organize at a good price, so I recommend using the service. The rooms were clean, the air conditioning worked flawlessly.

It was our first hotel in Sri Lanka and couldn’t be better! Milan helped us with an early check-in with no hesitation. The room is simple but have everything you need for that price. The location is quiet and calm and have a direct access to the lake pathway. Milan also arranged for us two tours with tuktuk to Mihintale and the Sacred City of Anuradhapura, and even one to the bus station when we had to leave. We highly recommend this place!
