Boutique hotel vacation rentals in Anuradhapura

We were very warmly received with a welcome drink (freshly prepared papaya juice). After that, we would have brought the suitcases to the room. The rooms were immaculately clean and very well maintained. 5 stars for the cleanliness of the rooms, which impressed us very much. 5 stars plus but there is for the service. We were brought cold drinks from the city on request. The good man didn't even want higher prices than the one from the store. I've never seen anything like it before. In the evening we would be served with watermelons and bananas. The good was always helpful and there for us, even when we leave at 5 in the morning always a smile on our face. I recommend this hotel to everyone!!! Thank you for everything!

Our family was very happy with our short stay at the hideout. The hosts communication was brilliant throughout. We had contacted them before we arrived with numerous questions which they always answered promptly. The pool and outdoor area was lovely, clean and relaxing with great views from the lookout area. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the lovely chef came out to say hello in the mornings and was kind enough to make pancakes for my fussy son when he wouldn’t eat anything on the menu. We also loved the breakfast and had two lovely evening meals in the restaurant during our stay.

My room was large and clean, with a large, comfortable bed complete with large mosquito net, an en suite shower room and toilet, air conditioning, but no eating or cooking facilities. I did have the use of the fridge on the ground floor - beware of man-eating mosquitoes there. The location was quiet and a bicycle was available for exploring the area. There was a good restaurant / bakery across the road, the railway station was 5 minutes away by tuk tuk and the Old City about 3km away. Everything was satisfactory.

Thank you for the great stay. We had a wonderful time at Chathurika. The accommodation has a fantastic location by the lake. We were able to observe a lot of birds and animals. The room was super clean & beautifully decorated. We felt very comfortable throughout the house and were able to relax very well. There are many attractions to explore nearby. The food was delicious & we had the best tuna on our trip. Big recommendation. The entire team was super friendly & helpful. We would love to come back again :-)

The old man who gave us the room organized a tuk tuk driver. With dakshina we could easily go everywhere. He showed us a lot. The night before leaving for kandy, he said he would take us to the bus station. In the morning, however, he had already blocked us in the text message app. Very unfortunate. But we can recommend the calm cabana to spend 1-2 nights there

this location is convenient if you are planning to visit sigiriya rock, watch cultural dance at habarana cultural centre, go for ayurvedic spa & attend organic cooking class! it would take less than 15 mins to get to all these places from the villa! besides, the host’s chef and caretaker were so accommodating and helpful! they truly made our stay delightful!
