Family-friendly vacation rentals in Anoka County

My family and I selected Aaron and Colleen as hosts based on their five-star rating and safe location. However, we received more than what was expected. The first day, we were met with a personalized note, chocolates, and drinks in the fridge, including homemade cold brew! Such a thoughtful touch made us feel right at home. We were busy with family activities in the city, so we didn’t use the Peloton, hot tub, or sauna as expected. Still, returning to immaculate, extremely comfortable, stylish accommodation was lovely. The mattress was perfect! We also enjoyed listening to various records on the record player while playing cards and board games; it felt nostalgic. We enjoyed our stay, to say the least, and hope to revisit our experience at some future time.

We booked three nights to accommodate extended family coming from Chicago and Duluth to celebrate my son’s graduation from UMN. This place was perfect for us! There was plenty of room for everybody. The kitchen, open living room area, and deck worked really well for entertaining. We threw a BBQ get together for my son’s friends, a huge success in this great space. The place is very well stocked with everything we needed. We also heated up the sauna each morning to start the day! Emily was very responsive to our every need. Thank you!

A beautiful and well kept home very quiet neighborhood, pet friendly we love the fact that the master bedroom was on a separate wing. Lots of space for everyone to spread out and plenty of bathrooms.

Love the house and has all we need! They have a lot of stuff for kids and have kitchen stuff other airbnbs don’t usually have. We enjoyed our stay!

This well-equipped home is the perfect base for exploring Minneapolis. It's convenient to lots of activities and restaurants, but a tranquil spot to relax with plenty of space both inside and outside. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for our wedding in May of 2024 at Hope Glen, and decided we needed to book it through AirBnB for our one year anniversary because we loved it so much. It's so cozy and just an overall wonderful experience staying in a treehouse! The bed is super comfy too

Amy Jo was a wonderful host and we felt right at home! The home was spacious and clean, the bed was comfy, and my little one had a blast playing with the toys and watching the ducks on the pond. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

This place was the perfect spot to stay near the state park. It was very peaceful. Our host was beyond wonderful.

Overall we greatly enjoyed staying and would stay again! The location is awesome for exploring downtown Stillwater and the surrounding area. It had enough space where it didn't feel like we were on top of each other. It is right on main street but none of us really had an issue with road noise, unless we're really good at blocking noise out. The only main struggle was that some of the outlets didn't work so at night time when trying to plug a fan in we struggled to find a working one close to the bed. When I had questions Cheris was very quick to reply and her responses were very helpful! Another downfall that is outside of Cheris's control is that there is no designated parking spot for the loft. It does come with a parking pass which is very nice (!) but if you're not familiar with Stillwater parking, it can fill fast. You sometimes might have to do a few laps to find a close spot to the loft but Stillwater does off ample parking within walking distance.

The loft is artfully decorated, and done well. We enjoyed our short time there and would have loved to stay longer just to enjoy the charming space . You can see the river and the busyness of Main street from the upper level. We recommend The Oasis for breakfast ! The Apple French toast with cornflake coating was the best French toast I have ever had in my life!!

Very nice and cozy spot near downtown. The place was as described and looked exactly like the photos. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The hosts, Katie and Curt, were very friendly and responsive. The hot tub on the patio was a big bonus. I also enjoyed relaxing in the hammock and watching the trolley go by through the woods ($3 to take the short historic ride). And just a few minutes to walk to Lake Harriet pavilion to take in some live music or walk around the lake. I’m excited to come back sometime for this relaxing get-away!

Brooke was a fabulous hostess for us and a very prompt communicator before and during our stay. The house was clean, well maintained, and check in was easy upon arrival. The check out instructions were simple and easy to follow. I would say the house sleeps 8 adults very comfortably with 3 fun bedrooms, a loft, and a dayroom off the pool; we squeezed in 10 and it was sufficient. We had plenty of bathroom space for all the ladies, which was a plus! The hot tub and pool were wonderful amenities. The price felt a bit high but it was a fabulous, well-worth it choice for our bachelorette who loves all things vintage.

Great location near trails, Cedar Lake and Theodore Wirth Park! Grace was very responsive with lots of helpful information! Easy in and out; it had everything we needed; Appreciated the large selection of coffee pods for the Keurig in the morning!

Eric was a A+ host! His place has a down to earth, homely feel. You feel like you live right in the neighborhood. Almost forgot we were renting! The charm of the home and decor, really hits you once you get settled in. The shower was our favorite! Also, theres a hot tub, fireplace, and pool table! Eric’s communication was great as well with whatever we needed. The price for what we got, was very much worth it! Hope to come back again. Don’t pass this place up! Ty Eric!
