Home on the farm

PeggysueRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was our 3rd time there. It is the most relaxing place to stay. Ruth thinks of everything, you don’t want for anything. You will not find any better hosts than Ruth and Bob. We absolutely love our stays, have stayed in both the apartment and the cabin and we’ve been extremely happy in both. If we could live there we would! I highly recommend staying in either place. Ruth is the sweetest person you will ever meet and makes you feel like family.

Lisa’s Lodge

AnnemarieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lisa's Lodge was wonderful; just perfect for the two of us. It was so nice to take a dip in the lovely pool, sit by the the beautiful lake and take walks around the grounds and up the road. Proximity to Anderson yielded a couple of good restaurants and it was also an easy trip to Greenville and its charms. Lisa is very nice and her son offered help in case we needed it during a rainstorm. What a happy experience! We both want to go back!

One Particular Cove ... on Lake Hartwell

JohnRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We couldn’t be happier with our stay. Perfect size for the 4 of us. Ginny and Sid are wonderful hosts. Our flight was changed and delayed and we didn’t arrive till 3am and had to leave for Clemson graduation by 730am. With little to no time to sleep or eat breakfast they stocked the place with fresh pastries, fruit and bagels and cream cheese. We sadly were only to spend nights at the property so we did t get a chance to take the whole lake location in. I’d go back in a heartbeat

Not our first stay at The Canning House and not our last! We love the country feel and the rain on the tin roof. It was so nice to wake up and see the cows out back in the pasture (took some pics there) and hearing the birds chirping. See you another time for sure!

Paradise Point on Lake Hartwell

LoriRating, 5 stars2 days ago
This place really is a Paradise! The dock and the area by the lake are amazingly pretty and peaceful. We enjoyed fishing (caught brim and catfish), sunbathing, and relaxing by the water. We brought our own boat and that went really well. The boat launch was nearby and we were able to take the boat to a fun restaurant called The Grill. The guesthouse was clean and cozy. We had 7 adults and there was plenty of room. The rec building gave some extra space to hang out, play ping pong, and watch a movie. The guys enjoyed playing basketball and pickle ball on the outdoor court. The kitchen had all of the basics and we used the outdoor gas grill. Overall it was just a really fun family weekend at the lake and we would definitely recommend this place!

Ashley‘s carriage house was such a cute place to stay. It is very central in Clemson to everything you would need to go to and was perfect to attend an event in Clemson. Is extremely clean and I especially loved all the Clemson Tiger touches in decor. I would stay here again if I came back for a Clemson game!

I had such a wonderful stay at this spot on Lake Hartwell! The place was cozy, clean, and had everything I needed for a relaxing escape. The bed was very comfortable. The lake itself was incredibly peaceful—perfect for morning coffee on the deck or evening kayaking sessions. I loved having easy access to the water. What made the trip even better were the hosts—they were so helpful, responsive, and genuinely friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a quiet, nature-filled retreat with thoughtful hosts and easy lake access, this is the spot. I can’t wait to come back!
