Our lodge is equipped with all modern amenities, such as a modern kitchen, a smart TV and a Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxurious jacuzzi and wood-burning stove. The lodge, with its large private garden and unobstructed views, is completely separated from the farmhouse by a fence and is accessible only to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast is available upon request.

Unique Stay in the Countryside!

The cottage has a unique atmosphere, created with materials from the old days. It is located at the back of our yard, overlooking the meadows, the forest and the dike. In summer, the cows of the adjacent farm graze in the meadow, and the ducks and coots swim in the ditch. You can regularly see a stork or a deer! With the sound of the cuckoo, the lapwing or the owl, you experience nature very close! From the conservatory or from the large garden, you can see the sun rise in the morning.

Beautifully located in the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park is B&B de Hoge Zoom, side wing of the 1929 mansion. A true pleasure for nature lovers, hikers, cyclists and/or mountain bikers. B&B de Hoge Zoom has a private entrance, living room with Yotul wood stove, fridge, toilet, bathroom and two connected bedrooms upstairs. Our beautiful windmill was built on the remains of a medieval castle in 1873. In 2006 the mill was fully renovated. You will have a comfortable stay in the mill which is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Maurik is a charming village, very centrally located between larger cities like Utrecht, Den Bosch, Arnhem and Nijmegen. The area is very suitable for cycling, hiking and swimming.
