Vacation rentals with beach access in Alvor

Die Unterkunft war super. Wir waren eine Woche im Frühling mit unseren Kindern. Es war alles sehr sauber. Die Lage war super, weil man schnell in der Innenstadt war (perfekt für den Zeitraum). Pedro war sehr nett, schnell zu erreichen und unglaublich hilfsbereit. Es gab alles wie beschrieben. Wir fanden es toll. Danke!

Wow... Welch ein Ausblick! Die Wohnung liegt im 8. Stock, direkt an der Praia da Torralta. Ein Parkplatz ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Am Strand sind wir entspannt geschlendert und haben viele schöne Muscheln gefunden, bei Ebbe gelangt man in angrenzende Buchten, Bar inklusive... Wir haben uns in dieser Wohnung sofort sehr wohl gefühlt, uns fehlte es an nichts... und dass es hier eine Filterkaffeemaschine gab, Super!!! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und waren richtig traurig, dass die Zeit so fix vergangen ist. Es hätten noch ruhig zwei Tage länger sein dürfen... Zur Ponta da Piedade und dem Boardwalk fuhren wir ca. eine halbe Stunde, eine wunderschöne Ecke, zum Spazierengehen und einfach nur die Felsformationen zu bestaunen... Die Zeit verging zu schnell, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder... Der Kontakt mit Sara war immer freundlich, vielen Dank für alles... liebe Grüße, Susanne

Condo très bien situé à quelques minutes de la plage et près de tout. Très bien équipé. Une laveuse à linge est must et fonctionnait très bien. Il y a une petite épicerie dans le building pour faire ses achats.

We’ve just spent a week at the apartment in Praia de Rochas and found it a very comfortable, clean and tastefully furnished space. There are plenty of bars and good restaurants on the door step, plus a decent supermarket around the corner. If you turn left out of the block there is a vast beach with boardwalks to Portimão where you can take a boat trip to caves, which I would recommend. If you turn right out of the block there is a cliff top walk with various beautiful bays which can be accessed by steps. There’s a bustling nightlife at weekends but quieter during the week. Would recommend for a couple or friends. Etelvina was very responsive and she has furnished the apartment beautifully. Thanks.

We really enjoyed our stay—the view was amazing from the 10th floor! We’d love to go back and stay again!

We’ve just had another pleasant short break away in Portugal staying at Mariana’s place. Not much to add from our previous positive reviews, but it’s worth noting the apartment has everything you need, and you’re only a short walk into the town to the supermarket (10 mins) and restaurants (a further 5 mins). Would happily recommend!

Casa Kiki is in a great place to reach the beach which is a 10 minute walk and their is also on- site pool area with Alvor being a 5 minute taxi ride away where there are many bars, restaurants and shops. There is also a pizzeria and a small supermarket only 2 minutes from Casa Kiki. The living space and outside area are more than adequate for 4 people. Nora is an excellent host and responds to messages very quickly as well as doing all she can to make sure your stay is enjoyable.

Echt een heel fijn appartement op een toplocatie. 5 min lopen naar de restaurants en winkels, 10 min naar het strand. Prima ingericht met alles wat je je wensen kan. Vewoon niks mis mee. Volgend jaar weer.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt - bekanntermaßen - direkt am Strand und ist dort auch das einzige Wohnhaus. Es ist komplett ausgestattet, insbesondere in der Küche fehlt es auch an nichts. Und auch das renovierte Bad ist sehr schön. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Probably the loveliest and cutest holiday rental I have stayed in - actually wished we could have spend more down time in the flat, but there is just a lot to do in Algarve! Everything looks just like in the pictures and Carlos and Eileen have thought of everything guests might need. The highlight is definitely the green garden with the outdoor bathtub. The kitchen is also really well equipped. Carlos and Eileen provided an incredibly detailed virtual guide, which included instructions on how everything works in the flat (including video instructions on how to operate the coffee machine, blinds, etc), as well as loads of great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. The bed is up below the ceiling, so it does get a little bit hotter there than in the rest of the flat, but with the aircon (which worked well and pretty quietly) it's totally fine.

Joao is extremely responsive and helpful . He was very flexible about check in and out times The Villa is stunning, even better than the photos show, clean comfortable and well equipped. We hope to return soon Thank you Joao

Wir haben zwei Tage im Haus verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage war perfekt und wir konnten viel zu Fuß erledigen. Ferragudo und seine Umgebung ist eine Reise wert. Ricardo und Priscila waren sehr bemüht und sehr gut erreichbar. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft.

The place was lovely, clean and in the heart of old town Lagos. Perfect location. All the recommendations provided by Gerry were spot on - from the food to the beaches. The highlight of our stay at the beach house was when we were able to sit on the rooftop and watch the fireworks celebrating Portugal day. Our host was extremely responsive and friendly. Highly recommend this beach house.

Exceptional location in Old Town Lagos! Sarah was incredibly communicative! As the description points out, there is no air conditioning, but Sarah gives pointers as to how to keep the place cool. Also, the entry stairs are a bit steep so be warned if you have large luggage. You’re literally minutes from restaurants and bars and there is an exceptional coffee shop just down the block. The place is a gem—felt very local!!

Our stay at Casa Bombarda was the highlight of our trip—both the unit and Lagos completely exceeded our expectations. The home is absolutely beautiful, with three stunning outdoor spaces, including a rooftop patio where we enjoyed ocean views and unforgettable sunsets. Luis was a fantastic host—great with communication, full of helpful recommendations, and always quick to respond to any questions or needs we had. The unit is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking and cleaning, which made our stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. The location is ideal: a short walk to the heart of old town and close to amazing restaurants, shops, and beaches. Casa Bombarda went well above and beyond what we hoped for. We’ll always remember our time here and will be recommending it to everyone we know!

We absolutely loved our stay at Mónica and Carlo’s place! We were so close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. There was so much to do within a few minutes walk. The house was even better than the pictures and Monica and Carlo’s reached out throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. Overall, great house and hosts. Would love to come back again!

Great friendly hosts who really made sure that we felt at home. Location is perfect - right by the beach. Easy drive to nearby grocery store and town centre. Home was very spacious and had a beautiful window. Enjoyed the stay.

Ben’s apartment was a short walk to the beach, multiple restaurants, and food market. It is in the quiet beach town of Luz 15 minutes from Lagos with lots of hiking and biking trails. I would definitely recommend this for other travelers.

Fabulous location! Beach, amazing boardwalk, and town very near, just lots of stairs! But that is beautiful Portugal! Views from porch were fantastic; everything you needed was in the kitchen and it was a very welcoming place. We didn’t use the pool, but it is a good size and well maintained. Master shower is a bit tight, but a big beautiful bath is 5 steps away, so really no big deal. I would definitely book here again if the opportunity arises!

Throughly enjoyed our 10 day stay in Colette’s spacious apartment. It was clean, well equipment and comfortable. Alto club had fantastic facilities and grounds are well kept. Colette is a great host, very helpful and informative. 100% recommend and I would love to return in the future. Ciara.

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Wir waren mit unserer Tochter in der Wohnung von Ingmar und hatten eine fantastische Zeit. Die Wohnung ist viel größer als man auf den Fotos denken würde. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich wünschen kann. Zum kochen abends und draußen auf dem Balkon essen einfach perfekt! Ein wunderschöner Strand ist 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Außerdem sind in der Umgebung alle highlights der algarve mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen und waren sicher nicht das letzte Mal zu Gast. Vielen Dank Ingmar!

Rosa’s place was great and exactly as described. Very short distance to beach and town (~15 min). She had recommendations which we appreciated. Check-in was easy. The place was as described and Rosa was super communicative. We encountered some issues after checkin and Rosa handled them immediately, which was so appreciated!! We had a great stay as a family for over a week. The apartment is lovely & bright, very clean & well equipped, with good aircon and a balcony overlooking the pool. The complex itself is modern, safe and has a really good sized pool area. Location was brilliant, a short walk to the supermarket, beach / boardwalk and town centre - everything you'd need! Lovely welcome & communication from host.
