Lake house vacation rentals in Altmühlsee

We enjoyed the days in the Sweden house very much! The house is not only beautifully and lovingly decorated, but also perfectly equipped – we didn't miss anything. The location is wonderfully quiet and ideal for a relaxing break with the family. Check-in and check-out were straightforward, communication with Mareike warm and reliable – we felt completely comfortable. Thank you, dear Mareike – we will be happy to come back!

The hosts both Caroline and Alexander are very friendly and responsive. Communication was perfect and the check in was very easy. The pictures don’t do the place the justice. It’s so much more beautiful than on the pictures. It’s a wonderful place and very peaceful. The house itself is so well equipped. You can definitely tell that the owners spends a lot time and money to renovate it. The house was super clean. The sauna was a hit, also our children enjoyed it very much. We spend a lot of time playing in the garden and enjoyed a local bier garden. I recommend this house to anyone who values privacy and peaceful space, where you can easily relax surrounded by the forest and enjoy waking up in a exceptionally comfortable and beautifully decorated house. Will definitely come back.

Everything is great, I'd love to come back.

It was wonderful, the pictures don't promise too much! A cozy room, but the highlight is the garden. Breakfast with the kingfisher, the splashing of the stream, leaves rustling in the crowns of the apple trees, really a dream! Check-in via lockbox possible, right on the residential area, a lake and the nearest excursion destinations are very close. We felt very comfortable at Christine's home! Absolute recommendation for peace-loving nature lovers ☺️

We stayed with a group of friends for a few days – and it was just great! The entire house was very clean, lovingly decorated and has a very special atmosphere with its unique wooden flair. The location directly on the water is fantastic and offers many opportunities for activities and excursions. A real highlight was the stiltsauna – an experience we will not soon forget! The host Michael was super friendly, very helpful and communication in advance as well as on site went absolutely smoothly. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. The place was very special, We arrived earlier than agreed and Van immediately set out to open the doors for us. She warmly invited us to her Air BnB and we had no problems checking in. In addition to Van, the house cat Keks was also a must. She was a faithful companion who stopped by our apartment several times a day. The special thing about this apartment is the variety of decorations and sleeping options and the bathrooms were particularly clean. Van was always friendly and very accommodating and always had good recommendations for us, no matter what we would do in the evening. Since our stay was for a trade fair that took place in the Meistersingerhalle, this Air BnB was particularly practical because you had a 50 m walk to the hall from the accommodation. Van asked us at the beginning of the stay if we were hungry or thirsty, which we found particularly accommodating. We would recommend this Airbnb any time.

Van was great at communication, she also allowed us to check out late as our flight was not till the evening. The house was as described and there was plenty of room for everyone. thanks
