The hosts were very friendly and helpful, but gave us complete privacy. We felt right at home! The neighborhood was peaceful and close to train station/bus stops. Their amenities and furniture comfort were great. Thank you!

A bit smaller than expected, the area is super beautiful and the check-in is very easy. The accommodation is new, modern and very clean. Unfortunately, a little remote and without a car certainly difficult to reach. Shower bath and shampoo were not available! We also didn't notice the included fresh milk.

This place is amazing! The quiet nights on the patio, or walking down to the lake to enjoy the lights in the castle with evening setting on Lake Como were so wonderfully relaxing. I would recommend to anyone wanting to escape the insanity of Varenna. Other pluses. Town parking pass for Dervio. Amazing breakfast waiting for the ferry there, full kitchen for spectacular sunset meals with the best view of the lake!

It was a honeymoon accommodation. The village of Breientz itself was cute and quiet, so it was a good place to stay, and we mainly ate Korean food. Cooking utensils, induction oven, dishwasher, and coffee pot are available. There is no microwave. The owner prepared coffee, tea, and sugar, so I drank it without any problems, and the cleaning was clean. Shampoo, rinse, toilet paper, and a dryer are all available, and the hot water comes out well. It was quiet and on the first floor, so it was easy to go up and down with luggage. I recommend it. The owner is so kind!

This place is a hidden gem. So close to everything with a rental car which we had. Gorgeous location, and view of the lake which is just down the street. Roger is a great host.

Great location for visiting the Jungfrau region. Very close to bus stop that can you to brienz for trains. Katja was a really good host and made us feel welcome. The place is really nice. Only a few miles from Bino's pizza in Brienz.

The stay was top notch!

Absolutely love the location and the views. Very peaceful to hear the cowbells and soak up the views on the patio. Lovely 15 minute walk to dinner at the dorint hotel restaurant and about an 8 minute walk to the bakery for breakfast. The host was super responsive and we are so glad we chose beatenburg over staying down in interlaken

This was one of the most incredible places we’ve ever stayed! The views were even more stunning in person, and the house was so lovely, clean, spacious and comfortable. Cony is the most amazing host — so friendly, warm and helpful, even assisting us with local grocery recommendations during a public holiday with many store closures. We felt so at peace during our short stay and only wish we could’ve stayed longer!

I had a wonderful stay at Nicole’s apartment. The house was cosy, neat, and clean, which made me feel right at home. Communication with the host was excellent—responses were always quick and helpful. I really appreciated the complimentary taxi service provided by Nicole, which made my arrival so much easier. While climbing the 70 steps to reach the house was a bit challenging with large luggage, the stunning balcony view made it totally worth it. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay!

Cornelia’s place was great. The attention to detail in the apartment was divine. Her husband was very helpful when we arrived and such a joy. Will definitely be coming back next year!

Our stay with Bettina was amazing! She provided local recommendations for hikes and it was a very smooth process to check in. The convenience of the grocery store across the street and bus station was also very helpful since we did not rent a car. Another plus was that the kitchen was fully stocked with plates, forks, dishes. Everything was very clean. We would stay here again.

The greeting upon arrival was excellent, we were offered an upgrade as some guests had cancelled due to weather, a nice gesture! The appartment was well furnished, clean and very comfortable. The location is excellent. Far enough from the busy touristic Bellagio but close enough to walk. The ferry pick up is just steps away. The grounds are immaculate and large enough to get a good run in every morning (5km) track style staying on the stone path that twirls the 42 hectar property. The grounds allow you great views of Tremezzo and Villa Carlotta accross the Lake and you can swim if the tempersture permits on the stairs that access the Lake. This is really a great place to stay! We had a wonderful stay on the Eggbergen. It was truly a memorable experience. The apartment was spacious, beautifully equipped, and offered breathtaking views straight out of a picture book. We felt warmly welcomed and appreciated the many helpful tips we received during our time there. The fresh eggs, and other local produce from the nearby farm shop were a real treat, and we’ll definitely miss the peaceful atmosphere and the cows grazing below the house. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature in a stunning setting!

The accommodation is a beautiful small apartment in Mayas and Rolfs house in the alps of Glarus. It is very quiet and has a beautiful view on the surrounding mountains. The apartment is modern, tidy, well cleaned and maintained and offers everything you need (even a Raclette machine and a cheese fondue pot). The BBQ in the garden is a highlight of the apartment and you are free to use vegetables from the garden (depending on availability). They even had bowls for our dog! Communication was super quick and easy. We can definitely recommend this stay!

Wow – Irene’s place exceeded all expectations! The moment we walked in, we were drawn straight to the balcony to take in the absolutely breathtaking view. It felt like something out of a dream or fairy tale—truly unforgettable. This is hands down the most beautiful Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was exactly as described, and the thoughtful personal touches made us feel instantly at home. Irene’s instructions were clear and made finding the place a breeze. It’s just a short, scenic walk from town along a lovely path we looked forward to strolling each day. If you’re looking for a stay filled with beauty, peace, and warmth, this is the place. I would return to Switzerland just to stay here again—without hesitation!

Marlise is so nice! She gave me 5FR directly when I said I had no coin for luggage deposit at the train station. She also helped me fill in the guest form since I forgot to do so. The house is located on a small hill. You need to climb around 15mins with your luggage to get there, that’s a bit exhausting. But the view is pretty nice, exactly the same as shown! You also need to bring your own shampoo and body wash.

Stacey was a great host that met the us at the door and gave us helpful hints on things to do. The view from the porch was AMAZING and so peaceful. We spent almost every minute there when back from the very convenient hikes just a short way away. I would absolutely recommend staying here … literally can be in a hot tub looking up at Staubach Falls like it was your very own private waterfall.

Once we arrived Bart greatest is. He was extremely friendly and answered any questions we had. His place was clean and it was definitely what was pictured. The location was peaceful and the ability to sit in the Hot tub in the evening time and gaze out at the mountains and listen to the cowbells. I would highly recommend this place.

This apartment is so big, you feel like you’re in a pent house suite. We loved this place. We were able to cook some meals in the kitchen, the deck is beautiful. We were nervous about the drive and parking. Parking was fine, no issues. Yes it is a tight squeeze - but it’s Italy, driving in general is a tight squeeze. It’s easier than other reviews have made out to be. The accomodation is further up the hill and back from the town. The drive takes about 13 minutes. Not a scary drive, just a slow one with so many turns. We loved the location as it was already so busy in town that we felt like we got to escape the crowds. You would want a car here for sure. You can’t walk down to the town. And parking and driving around was easy, not as busy as you think it would be because everyone is taking ferry’s not driving. So we were able to drive down and park and go for dinner or breakfast easily. Highly recommend this place.

Nothing short of amazing! It was an absolute delight to stay at Steffi’s place for our 2nd year anniversary celebration and we were greeted by not just a friendly and cheerful host personally at the door but probably the most stunning view of any Airbnb we’ve stayed in! Steffi herself to the time to meet us, give us some very nice tips which added that much more to our experience of the area. The apartment was clean and everything was catered to so you had the feeling you were pampered all the time. Even though there is a bus connection, we were fortunate to be able to get there by car which made the place very accessible to us and helped us visit Bern and other cities quite easily. Although, a great hike is only a stone’s throw away with some wonderful trails already starting as you step out the door. We would give Steffi more than 5 stars if we could and would be more than happy to recommend her place! :)
