We had a great Ascension weekend at Sandra and Mathieu's place. The accommodation is beautiful, tastefully renovated. The place is beautiful, surrounded by nature and very quiet. Many daytime activities: hiking in varied landscapes (mountains, ponds, etc.), electric bike rental in Melisey (€35/day) and then games available in the accommodation. In the evening, make way for foosball games and the jacuzzi! I would highly recommend this rental!

We were warmly greeted by Alain and Clair on arrival – they couldn’t have been more welcoming, and their kindness really set the tone for our stay. The setting was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, a real escape from the hustle and bustle. The highlight for us was sitting and looking out at the river and waterfall right next to the property – the view was stunning and the sound of the water was so soothing. We left feeling completely relaxed and recharged. Highly recommended!

Dalibor's cottage is a great place. Very clan and spacious and perfectly equipped for a short - or longer - stay. We really liked the atmosphere and leisuring on the deck and in the jacuzzi after long hikes in the neighborhood. You are a few minutes away by car from 3 large supermarkets and any styles of restaurants. Perfect place for sending time in the Plitvice area (the entrance of the Park is 20 minutes away). I had a wonderful stay at this house. It’s located in a quiet countryside setting, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The highlight of the stay was definitely the jacuzzi and sauna, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The house itself is clean, well-maintained, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts were friendly and responsive, making sure everything was perfect. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with great amenities, this place is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

We had a brilliant stay. The house was perfectly sized for our group of 4 adults and 1 child. The hot tub was huge and was really relaxing after a long day out visiting local towns and cities. The place was peaceful and relaxing and although in close proximity to the owners house, it felt private and non intrusive. The house is perfectly based for visits to the Black Forest and exploring Alsace which we have enjoyed. Very clean, air conditioning and beautiful surroundings. Would recommend and would stay again.

We had a wonderful week in Gloria's house. Our four-legged friend also felt totally comfortable in nature. The house is small but nice and has everything you need. The property is a nice size and is perfect for eating outside, relaxing in the hot tub or just lying in the sun. The way to the house is a little challenging, but with a normal car and a little driving experience it can be mastered. Gloria was always available to us and gave us good excursion tips for the area in advance. Even with any inquiries, she always responded very quickly and helped us. To just get out and enjoy the nature and tranquility of Tuscany, it is perfect. We will be happy to come back!

We had a great time at Dario's place. This has been the most beautiful place I've stayed at on Airbnb. From plenty of towels to a wide selection of spices to small gifts for our child, everything was included. This place is highly recommended! Thank you two :)

Le Mas de l’Estel is a perfect place for a larger gathering in the heart of the southern Luberon. The property is a perfect haven of peace, beauty and comfort. It is a stunning conversion and the attention to detail is second to none. The gardens surrounding the property are superb. They have been beautifully designed and are maintained to perfection. It was a joy to wake up to such beauty every morning. You can walk to either Ansouis or Cucuron (30 mins) for perfect Provençal hilltop village experiences, or use the bikes provided instead. We enjoyed the pools while admiring the view of the Grand Luberon hills. Our party also enjoyed the range of activities available at the property, including boules and giant chess. Thank you to Morgane and Christophe for sharing Le Mas de l’Estel with us. We appreciated the very warm welcome, local tips and the wonderful local treats provided in Morgane’s welcome basket. We could not have been happier with our stay and would love to return.

Thank you to Lorraine for this choice establishment in a peaceful and flowery neighborhood in the mountains. The location is ideal for getting to Rapallo nearby or Portofino. The terrace is breathtaking with stunning sea views. The area is wooded and smells of jasmine which is always a pleasant surprise when you arrive. The bedding is comfortable, clean. Check-in instructions are clear and provided in advance with a responsive and patient host. Plan to pay a tourist tax in cash on the day of your departure, not specified when booking on Airbnb. Nice break in this charming cottage, by the water. Absolute tranquility, and a particularly responsive hostess who was able to respond to our requests discreetly. I highly recommend it!

Francesca and her kind family have created a once-in-a-lifetime, soul-grounding experience in this beautifully restored 14th-century hillside retreat in Portovenere. We loved every minute of our six-night stay. From the mind-blowing views and steep, invigorating hikes to romantic evenings sipping homemade, earthy concoctions thoughtfully left for us—it was pure magic. We were welcomed with fragrant bundles of fresh lemons, rosemary, sage, and thyme, a gesture that set the tone for the care and warmth we felt throughout. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making our rest as memorable as our adventures. We especially loved our daily rocky hike down to the charming village, and one day we even rented a dinghy to explore the surrounding islands—an unforgettable way to soak in the coastal beauty. This place is beyond gorgeous—truly a slice of heaven.

The house and our stay exceeded our expectations, it is a wonderful place with extremely helpful hosts. We are coming back homes relaxed after just three days stay.

Wonderful place in an amazing location. The views are spectacular. Very quiet and private location. Perfect base to explore from and close to many beautiful Tuscan towns.

The house is perhaps 200 yards from the nearest other dwelling, up on the side of a hill, quite a way up, with beautiful views of the dolomites and down the valley. The house was well equipped and had a wonderful big wood stove for heat. There were hiking trails right out the front door as well as within relatively short drives away into the beautiful dolomites. Hiking here was a major draw for us. This is a peaceful, beautiful house that is not in the middle of amusements and restaurants although restaurants and two small grocery stores are just a short distance away. The host Manfred was very understanding and responsive. We absolutely did not want to leave.

We were fortunate to spend a month at Anna's cottage where we were made to feel very at home. Anna is very friendly and accommodating and alongside her lovely dog Isla, makes a great host. The cottage has everything you need for a longer stay and is both rustic yet modern. The surrounding gardens and views are beautiful and you have your own section of private outside space. Vicenza is only a short drive away and is stunning. Lake Fimon is nearby as are other varied sites. We would definitely recommend a stay at Anna's if you want to explore the Berichi Hills and surroundings. 😊

Wonderfully peaceful stay in beautiful surroundings! Anita was very helpful and communicative whole also allowing us to have a peaceful, private stay in a dream cottage. Sisteron is a beautiful little town. Everything in town is walkable from the home and there are supermarkets within a ten minute drive. Absolutely recommend this stay. I would definitely stay here again.

This place was a thousand times more beautiful than the photos – truly a hidden gem! We absolutely loved our stay. The cottage was very private, spotless, and had such a cozy, homey feel. It instantly felt like a warm embrace. Rudi, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful whenever we had a question or needed anything. He genuinely went out of his way to make us feel welcome and at ease. A lovely bonus was Luli, the outdoor cat who belongs to the property. Just like her owner, she made us feel right at home with her calm and friendly presence. She always made our day when she came by for some food and some pets. After ten days, saying goodbye was bittersweet – it really started to feel like our little home. We honestly can’t recommend this place enough and would return in a heartbeat!

We had a truly wonderful stay (6 nights) at this beautiful house — just the two of us and our dog — and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The property is surrounded by a stunning, fragrant rose garden that invites you to slow down and breathe it all in. It’s incredibly peaceful, yet you’re just a short drive from the local village and Domodossola, making it the ideal balance of nature and convenience. Kali and Ken are amazing hosts — warm, welcoming, and generous in sharing their little piece of paradise. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need. On sunny days, relaxing in the garden feels like a dream, and on rainy days, the cozy couch is the perfect spot to curl up with a book. Our dog also had the time of her life, enjoying the vast grounds and proudly watching over everything. Huge thanks to Kali and Ken for creating and sharing such a magical place. First of all, it should be emphasized that Fabio is a wonderful, courteous and helpful host. The house is lovingly and stylishly decorated. The village is located in the middle of the mountains of Garfagnana and together with its surroundings it is an oasis of tranquility. From Bagni di Lucca, a 7 km long, narrow, winding road leads to Lugnano-Monti di Villa. On the route, you will pass 2 more small villages. One of them is Granaiola, where you can eat super delicious food at Laura's. We will be happy to come back :-) Anne and Helga

We stayed for about a week in May, with a baby and a toddler. The house is easy to keep clean and newly and professionally renovated with great amnesties. The view is wonderful, and there are hikes in the area, making this a perfect place if you plan to be out in the nature a lot. It was quite steep for our kids so best for adults or older children. The drive to any city is quite long. The dinner table and chairs are tall and not suitable for children, but Elodie provided one kids chair and we brought one on our own. The main bed is very short and narrow, but then both me and my wife are ~185cm. If you’re ~175 or below it should be OK. We enjoyed our peaceful stay very much and would come back again!

From us a big ten for this B&B. Well furnished and spacious studio. Super neat. Everything is there. Quiet area. And above all: Maria and Beppe (Rosella's parents) made us feel more than welcome every day. What a warm couple.

If you are looking for the most beautiful place on earth please book! I loved everything about this amazing home. The views are breathtaking and the home itself is cozy & comfortable. There are many walking trails for exploring, fresh lemons to pick, 2 small pools and a hot tub that overlooks the villages and glistering sea line. I cried leaving this magical place. Our host Letizia was so helpful and responsive. She took such good care of us. The donkeys made our trip extra special. We fed them dailey and they never failed to greet us with their excited squeals knowing we were coming with apples. 😊 The road up the mountain can be difficult at first but after a few runs we mastered the drive. This Airbnb will not disappoint. You have to experience this amazing place.
