House vacation rentals in Alcatraz Island

Very homey and welcoming. Family enjoyed celebrating time together in all spaces of the house, especially the back patio where our young child made believe on the well-designed pirate ship. Friendly, kind host. We walked to adorable Rockridge and BART many times. Highly recommended.

The place was clean and beautiful. We needed a home away from home while construction was going on at our place. And found it here.

We had an amazing stay at Casita Casita, the kids had so much fun in the pool and the kitchen was beautiful. On the last day, my six year old didn’t want to leave, she said she wished we could live there forever. It was super clean and when I did have a question, Courtney replied almost immediately. She was super great to work with, she sent us the house guide before our arrival and it included food recommendations. There was also a book printed guide which we actually referenced a lot! So that was helpful. The location is EXTREMELY walkable, we had fun walking to local shops and restaurants and the local park and bocci ball court.

A group of lifelong friends and I meet once a year for a long weekend to catch up, decompress, and spend time together. We chose San Francisco this year and after hunting on AirBnB we stumbled across this estate on JAR Farms. The host Nikki was proactive, helpful, and responsive. We arrived on Wednesday and drove to thru the gate into a lush oasis. The pictures on the listing didn't do the property justice. We arrived at the guest house to a welcome gift of wine, local honey, and snacks. We were a group of 6 adults and the guest house was cozy yet a perfect size for a reunion of friends. We were given a tour of the property showing us the boat house/beach, grand staircase to the bay overlook, the pool house (pool and hot tub), gardens, bee hives, and the many trails on the property. The mornings we hiked Monahan Trail at the adjacent Old St. Hillary's Preserve. In the afternoons we enjoyed the hot tub and a nice bbq dinner. Perfect weekend! HIGHLY recomended. Will be returning!

Had an excellent stay with our family. Will is one of the best airbnb hosts we have ever had and would stay again at this home or any other home he hosts without hesitation. The cactus home is luxurious and has amazing amenities like heated bathroom floors, great outdoor space with pool and hot tub, and a well equipped kitchen.

Job’s place is a true gem. The pictures dont do the place justice. Its beautfully decorated with excellent amenites both in and outside the house. The view is unbeatable and the locaion is so peaceful. The pool house was one of the top highlights. Job was a very helpful host and super responsive to our requests. Fabulous trip! We were greeted warmly by Jana and settled easily into the spaces of this large character home on a quiet cul de sac. It worked perfectly for our group of four. We loved the peaceful feeling of being on the water and the nearby pathways along the bay; it's lovely to sit outside to read and sip something. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it is very well-equipped. We got in some great hikes and meals at Mt. Tam, San Rafael, San Anselmo, Fairfax and Pt. Reyes as well as a SFMOMA day in the city. A wonderful location! Don't hesitate.

The Treehouse was a perfect getaway for a family of 8 adults and one child. Surroundings were beautiful. Nature was plentiful. The place had great amenities, kitchen well stocked, and the pool and hot tub one of a kind of !! We all had a great stay !!!

I stayed at Rose's for a business trip and it was the perfect spot! Very easy to get anywhere I wanted to be, it had a desk setup, and was quiet and lovely in the evenings. I would definitely stay again. Thanks Rose!

It felt like visiting family rather than an Airbnb. The house is well decorated and fully stocked, feeling like a cozy home rather than a rental. Also, when we arrived, Jim had fresh bread and other items for us, which made us feel welcome and at ease. The house is on a corner of the street but between the dual roller shades and the plants around the backyards, it feels calm and isolated both in the house and on the back patio. The shower had amazing water pressure, the bathroom was fully stocked and had a hair dryer and all the accessories including a diffuser! The kitchen has a viking stove, good pots and pans as well as sharp knives making cooking easy. The house is blocks from bookstores, restaurants, grocery stores, and so much more. We also greatly appreciated the parking spot reserved for us, allowing us to drive there and not fight for street parking whenever we came back.

Was in town with family for a wedding. Great experience staying here. The property had everything we could need, and Shannon was a fabulous host. Thank you!

Our family (two adults, two kids 4 and under) loved staying at Shannon’s home for a long weekend. The accommodations were great, very comfortable for our group. Very well located for hopping on public transportation and walkable to a couple of nice parks. Shannon was a great host too, proactive and made the whole stay very enjoyable. Highest recommendation!

What a peaceful retreat and a wonderful host! We have stayed on Richmond Point several times while visiting our daughter at Cal and it never disappoints. The view from here is incredible! And Vivien’s place is just perfect. You have the entire lower level to yourself, with your own private deck literally on top of the Bay, with views of the city and both the Golden Gate and the Bay Bridge. It’s a great location to get to Cal, to S.F. or wine country. And Vivien is the perfect host—welcoming but not intrusive, and just simply delightful. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

We loved our stay at Sara’s place. It was pretty, clean, easy to find and located in a really neat area with lots to explore on foot. Just what I was looking for, and I definitely hope to return this year to explore some more. I highly recommend her place …

Marianne has created a beautiful oasis for guests to relax and recharge. As a fellow airbnb superhost for the past 15 years I can truly say this was the most well stocked and appointed airbnb that I have stayed in. Aspirational. 5 stars all around. We will definitely be back!

Springer's apt is impeccable! Everything is of the highest quality and in good taste. The kitchen and bathroom are better than in our apartment! Location is great, lots to do within walking distance. If you are looking for a quality stay, Springer's apt is the way to go! Carlos

We stayed here after our wedding in Mill Valley. It was a great spot for the guys get ready in the morning and take some photos with the incredible view! The kitchen and bathroom are a little dated, but both clean and functional, and certainly not enough to deter you from staying here and enjoying the deck! The sunrise was gorgeous and so peaceful ☀️ The interior is well decorated as well!

Perfect location for peace and serenity! The house is spotless, kitchen was open and easy to use, and the beds are comfortable and soft. The hot tub and heated stone sofa were welcomed every morning and evening while listening to the ocean. We will be back soon!

Staying at the Sea Wolf Bungalow was one of the most special experiences of my life. I had the joy of working with Kim to plan my engagement there, and she made every step seamless, thoughtful, and truly unforgettable. From vendor recommendations to her calming presence, Kim went above and beyond to help create a perfect moment. She welcomed us with such warmth—it felt like staying with family. The bungalow itself is peaceful, beautifully designed, and perfectly nestled in nature. The stunning seaside views, colorful tide pools, and sightings of whales, seals, and other wildlife made every moment feel magical. Kim’s local insight into trails, sights, and hidden gems only added to the experience. The Sea Wolf Bungalow will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and I feel incredibly grateful for the memories made there and for the chance to get to know Kim. I can not say enough about how rejuvinating it was to stay at Matt's stunning home in Mill Valley. Our ONLY regret was that we did not stay for long enough. Matt is extremely kind, open and responsive. Waking up in the trees, taking a dip in the tub with morning coffee, and watching the deer walk by was our favorite past time. We took afternoon walks along the tree lined trail right in the back yard which was an incredible perk. Once you are there, you never truly never want to leave. The beds are extremely comfortable, water pressure is great and the home is stocked with all the amenities you might need. We stopped at Whole Foods on our way in to stock up for the first few meals --- we were so glad we did that and highly recommend. The house is located up the winding roads and then 100 stairs to climb up, but that is what makes it the spectaular experience it is. We can't wait to get back. Thank you, Matt!

A tremendous place to stay-- made every aspect of my trip easy, took out a lot of the stress. Plus, Angelo was super friendly and helpful throughout-- I only wish I could have hung out with him more! Would absolutely stay here again.
