Vacation rentals with lake access in Alberta

This cabin is so peaceful and private, you would never know that it is in a town with neighbours. The view of the lake from both inside the cabin and out on the patio can’t be beat, especially at sunset. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Krista's Airbnb at Swansea point was everything we could have hoped for. We came to the house as a group of guys who were looking for a low-key place to enjoy that had lots of amenities to keep us busy. This was everything we hoped for and were able to have an amazing time filled with Pool Days, Hot Tubbing, Fires, Games, and more. I will definitely be looking for an excuse to come back and stay here again.

I can say with confidence, this is the greatest Airbnb we have ever stayed in. First and foremost, the home itself is incredibly unique, and stunningly beautiful. You have spectacular views from every room, you have a Santa Fe inspired design that works effortlessly. This is a place where you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. It’s warm, bright, comfortable, and as the youth say, insta-worthy. The house has every possible amenity you could want or need, and then some. My biggest regret? Not booking more than 7 nights. It was the wonderful vacation place for my wife, two young daughters and I. We will absolutely be back and cannot wait to return! Thank you again for the best family vacation!

This place is an absolute gem. I will definitely be staying there again as I travel a lot to work. The beds are very comfortable. It’s very spacious and clean and nothing beats the view. Sharon was kind enough to welcome my dog Bruce great host thank you Sharon for letting us stay there on such short notice.

We had an amazing stay! Such a great space for my large family, we felt right at home and loved the neighborhood. We defiantly will be back to stay again soon :)

My group of friends and I had a wonderful stay at the cabin! The main house is very spacious, and cozy, with tons of activities to do. We loved using the pool table, yard, and sauna room. The hot tub was extremely clean. Olaf, the groundskeeper, was very welcoming and eager to help in any way we needed. We had a lot of couples with our group and so we pushed the twin beds together in some of the rooms which worked just fine! We will definitely come back to this Airbnb over and over again. It’s a perfect place to make memories together !! It’s my favourite Airbnb that I’ve ever stayed at !

Everything was perfect so spacious and beautiful. House has everything you need and more. Hot tub was amazing. Would absolutely stay here again. 10/10 recommend.

We had a wonderful few days in Cold Lake. l can say that our accommodation was definitely the highlight of the trip! We were moved to the larger unit with the garden walkout deck and private barbecue without any request from us. The rooms were exceptionally clean and we had everything we needed and more to make our stay feel like our own home. The roof and mobile fans made the hot summer weather tolerable and comfortable. We travelled with a small utility trailer that carried our electric bikes, and there was more than enough space made available for us to safely park it. We experienced no noise or disturbance at all during our stay, even with the roadworks that were close by. We were even offered the use of a garage to store anything we want. There were more than enough space outside the unit in and around the garden to give our smaller kids space to safely move around and stretch their legs. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet safe place in Cold Lake. Many thx!

The address and google maps was a little off, I did a few laps of the block across the street. My confirmation gave one address but the address in front of the building was different. It would be more clear if the name of the building was given. Manager was excellent, attentive but not invasive. There were chocolates upon arrival, some delicious homemade cookies, choc dipped pretzels & fruit, and easter egg hunt for my younger child and even some delicious homemade cabbage rolls. Having laundry on site was a blessing. Place is exactly as pictured. Having a full sized kitchen to cook meals in for a family was great for a longer stay. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay at Andy’s. The deck was perfect way to spend a quiet afternoon. We loved that most places we wanted to go were within walking distance

My wife, 2 kids and I had a great stay here. It is right off Lakeshore Drive so immediate access to the beach, playground and restaurants (the Rusty Kage is next door). The sunroom was very relaxing and the apartment itself was clean and comfortable.

A beautiful home for our extended stay. We spent 10 days here and it was such a perfect place to start and end each day. The spaces (indoor and outdoor) were both much larger than the pictures suggest. We loved the funky decor, great kitchen, big bathtub and all of the windows. We have a 1.5 year old and the space felt pretty baby proof and had some toys and other friendly touches we really appreciated! Nakusp is beautiful and this place shows it well.

Super cute place, clean, quiet! It was nice to have the lake really close and Pane Vino is just down the road and is our favourite spot to eat when visiting Lake Country. Carl was very quick to respond to messages. He introduced himself when we arrived and let us know he was available for any questions. I definitely recommend a stay here. I will be sure to book it again next trip out this way!

Pauline was prompt in communicating and answering questions ahead of time, and her place is wonderful for families. We all enjoyed the space and the perfect location for exploring the area.

The home was luxurious with thoughtful touches throughout. From tranquil morning coffees on the dock, to kayaking and admiring the painted turtles and various birds, to stargazing every evening, this spot checked every box for us! Susi and Bruce were amazing hosts, ensuring we had everything we needed. We recommend this rare gem without hesitation, and we look forward to our next stay!

It was a nice touch to arrive with having some welcome lights on inside - Thankyou Brittany. The unit was very neat and tidy and very appropriately appointed - very comfortable thanks. Seeing the deer on the front lawn in the headlights on return from dinner was special.

Our stay was perfect. It was a yearly family reunion with my siblings. Everybody had a great room and we loved the common areas - living/dining room, patio and area around fire pit. We didn’t have a fire as it was hot, but we could have. Everybody was really satisfied. Close to beach.

We had the most amazing time. Megan was wonderful and went above and beyond. Our month long stay was just what we wanted - beautiful views, time with each other, family and friends, enjoyed walks and runs and bike rides, the best restaurant ever at the ECO academy, especially their wine night. Roomy, modern, super comfortable beds. Nice kitchen, beautiful patio and backyard. Love the fire pit. We both work from home and that worked well in the space. We are runners and there was plenty of great places to run which was fantastic. I highly recommend staying at the cabin for an awesome getaway.

Thank you for hosting us - we had an idyllic, peaceful stay but not lacking in things to do. We enjoyed the hot weather by relaxing on the red chairs on the dock, taking the kayaks out on the lake, having a BBQ in the evening, chilling in the hot tub. It was a beautiful setting and the lake house cabin itself was lovely - beautifully decorated and incredible views. Emma was a very responsive host and had all the information either to hand or a quick message away. We are so pleased we found Emma’s place and wish we had longer than a couple of nights as we would’ve happily stayed the week if we weren’t moving around!

Marta's place was beautiful and so cozy. I stayed for a solo birthday trip and she made sure my stay was comfortable. She was kind. responsive, helpful and even suggested places to visit. From the moment I made the booking I felt excited because of her positive energy. She even went as far as sending me pictures of all the appliances and baking ingredients she had so I could pack accordingly. The ammenities were well taken care of, like the hot tub. You can tell that she cares for her place and the health and safety of her guests. I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness and this was one of the cleanest bnbs I have ever stayed at. This wasn't just a stay at a bnb, it was a whole experience! If you are looking to really relax and unwind and have a smooth stay by the lake I highly recommend staying here.
