Farmstay vacation rentals in Alberta

We deliberately chose a farm type environment that had horses to give our 9 year old daughters a different kind of experience. We were extremely pleasantly surprised by Laurel's equine program. Laurel went out of her way to show us around the farm, enlightened us with the very good work she is doing with her Equine Assisted Learning (ELA) program for local schools. We took part in a one hour session the next day and the girls loved it! Highly recommended as an essential stepping stone towards horse back riding! When I mentioned to Laurel that she has been modest in advertsing what she is doing, she said she prefers to undersell and overdeliver - and she sure did! What really impressed me was that she is running an excellent airbnb experience to help fund the EAL program to support kids who need support for a variety of reasons. The lodges are professionally decorated (vintage style) and are simply wonderful to stay in! So peaceful and so beautiful! A lovely host - we will be back!

Kim’s cabin is a beautiful home away from home, but in an idyllic, isolated wilderness. The house is clean, attractive and has everything you need. The location is gorgeous and quiet, and only minutes from some spirited hikes to lovely locations. Only a few minutes further and there are more hikes and pristine natural locations. If you want, within an hour you can be right in heart of the Rockies. I can’t recommend Kim’s place higher!

Vreny and Ruedi were very welcoming. They made me feel right at home. Even though my stay was short, it felt relaxing. It is a beautiful spot and a great location. They have made and created a little paradise and are happy to share their oasis. Thank you Vreny and Ruedi. I will definitely be back.

SUCH a lovely spot. Scott and his family were very welcoming and communicative. We loved spending time with all the animals and exploring the natural surroundings on foot.

We came from the UK and loved the space. Walking proximity to enterprise rent a car and the centre of town made it an ideal location for us. Plenty of good restaurants near by and a consistent bus to go into Banff itself with a user friendly app.

My friends and I had a wonderful getaway stay at the cabin. It was the best getting to watch DVDs together like we used to back in the day with no Internet or service! Natalia was an amazing host and really cared about our stay even to go as far as helping us find transportation around to and from the golf course. The sauna and hot tub are an amazing added bonus on top of the ideal location near the lake and with all the animals around. Would recommend this stay to everyone!

This was our second time staying here, and once again it was a great experience! Such a unique and beautiful property (inside and out). Check-in/check-out was easy, house was clean and tidy, and stocked with many amenities! There have been some additions/upgrades to the property as well, which we really enjoyed. Highly recommend!

I was spoiled!! What an incredible space; clean, modern, comfortable, and beautiful. The shower was unreal! I had a great soak in the hot tub, looking over the orchards and amazing scenery. Nata was wonderful, quick to respond, and very accommodating considering mine was a last minute request for a 2-night stay. I felt safe and secure and absolutely loved it. Thank you! I’ll be back.

We had the most peaceful and memorable stay at this little farm cabin. The view of the river was absolutely stunning, perfect for a morning coffee or quiet evening. We were greeted by the sweetest crew of goats, chickens, and dogs, which made the whole experience feel so cozy and special. Fresh eggs were waiting for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. The cabin was clean, charming, and had everything we needed. Nicole and Pascal were amazing and so welcoming and kind, they clearly put a lot of love into the place. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature and good energy, this is it.

A beautiful place, exactly as described! We had so much room for our 3 families (6 adults and 8 children!) and there were so many comfy beds to choose from. Everything we needed was in the cabin and we felt right at home. Will definitely stay here again!

This is one of the most thoughtful, unique and well-stocked Airbnb's I've ever stayed at. The animals provided hours of entertainment, the bed was so comfortable, the fit and finish were gorgeous and the fridge was stocked. would definitely stay again.

Beautiful place with baby sheep! The property was peaceful, the RV clean and the deck awesome to hang out in the evening. Luke was super friendly, definetly a great stop in our journey.

Fantastic little hobby ranch! The accommodations were great. New, modern, clean and comfortable. All amenities (kitchen, hot tub, bbq, bedrooms) were as described and very clean. We felt very comfortable and had a lovely little anniversary getaway. The proximity to the town of Bragg Creek is great. We went here for dinner and lunch. The only downside would be the noise from the traffic. Definitely worth the visit and the stay here though, despite this little downside. The attention to detail in the amenities and decor made our stay feel homey and comfortable. We would definitely return here again!

This is our second visit and we love it. Exceptional view with vineyards in the foreground and western exposure over Okanagan Lake. It is an easy walk to several of our favourite wineries and one or two km to Naramata. Well stocked kitchen, lovely bathroom with shower. Quietand private, but easily accessible from the main road.

excellent place to spend time with friends and family which is 45 minutes drive from waterton. beautiful surroundings & well organized home with huge backyard. we would like to stay here in future as well.

I can say with confidence, this is the greatest Airbnb we have ever stayed in. First and foremost, the home itself is incredibly unique, and stunningly beautiful. You have spectacular views from every room, you have a Santa Fe inspired design that works effortlessly. This is a place where you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. It’s warm, bright, comfortable, and as the youth say, insta-worthy. The house has every possible amenity you could want or need, and then some. My biggest regret? Not booking more than 7 nights. It was the wonderful vacation place for my wife, two young daughters and I. We will absolutely be back and cannot wait to return! Thank you again for the best family vacation!

Emmy’s place was perfect for our group of 5 people. The view of the mountains from the Mai’s window was stunning, and the accommodation were very comfortable. And we met the most adorable dogs that came to greet us every night ❤️ Lovely stay!

This serene cabin feels like home after long days outside! Terry and Bobi are warm, responsive, thoughtful hosts. We enjoyed every minute spent here.

It was the most magical and beautiful little place to stay for the night. Everything from the winding creek, to the campsite, to the animals…🙌😃…Just amazing! I just wish I had arrived there early enough so that I didn’t have to set up in the dark. Also, Debra was easy to communicate with, super nice, and responsive. I hope to stay here again in the near future and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying there.🤗

Leslie's place was the perfect space for our little family to get together. Beautiful views, cozy suite, lots of parking and the kitchen was well stocked with equipment needed to cook a family meal. Leslie was a wonderful host. Quick to respond and address any issues. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the beautiful Lake Country area.

The condo is in a great location, well decorated, cozy and comfortable. Kristin and Andre provided everything needed for our stay down to multiple blankets for cozy nights on the sofa. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were large with heated floors! Loved that! The access to the garage is easy and a great asset. We rented a very large SUV and had no issues getting in or out or parking in the provided space. We will definitely seek out this condo again for our next trip to the area.
