Vacation rentals with a kayak in Alberta

We enjoyed our stay at Dawns Casa Grand Drive suite! It is a spacious ground floor home with very comfortable beds and an inviting gas fireplace. We could just walk out our door to enjoy the trails of bullrush park and the beautiful walks around mirror lake. We stayed here for 53 days, and it was exactly what we were looking for while our home was being renovated. We recommend Dawns Casa Grand to anyone looking for a short- or long-term stays!

Wow! We had such an amazing time at the Rusty Bear…we didn’t want to leave! The location is incredible, just a few steps from the water. The sauna and running down to the lake combo comes highly recommended! The trains were not a bother at all but glad of the warning as the horn is loud haha! There are amazing trails just down the road, the bakery is amazing - great pizzas on Fridays and really good coffee and baked goods (the famous cinnamon buns did not disappoint!). The house was super clean, and the little dog touches were really stand out - beds, toys, biscuits! It’s a great spot for dogs. There are neighbours close but you can’t see them at all from the property and hardly even from the beach. So wonderfully idyllic

We had a wonderful stay! The home is impeccably decorated and the back yard is truly an oasis. There were many thoughtful details and treats - think of it as a spa getaway. Raheil was responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this amazing experience in Kelowna!

Just like home… property was as listed… peaceful and quiet neighborhood… plenty of free street parking… the kitchen had all utensils.. host Aaron was responsive, friendly and helpful… Great value for money and would definitely recommend…

The perfect lakefront escape! This cabin is the jackpot—a private beach, all the nature & cabin vibes, and enough space to fit my modern family of five plus our two fur babies. The cabin is spacious, comfy, quirky layout and everything you could possibly need from games, kitchen wear to towels & more. Great communication with Craig, easy to get into. If you’re craving a secluded, serene spot by the lake, this is it.

Hoots Hideout was a great place to hideout, quiet setting, beautiful views and super relaxing. Definitely worth the stay and would highly recommend staying there to anyone. The house was well appointed, great kitchen, comfortable bed and bathrooms well equipped! Hoots Hideout was a great place to come with friends to hang, go bike riding and enjoying the amenities it has to offer! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Great place and easy to get around from there

Denise’s space was more than we could have asked for. From the initial booking, communication throughout as well as very clear check in/out instructions there were no hidden factors. Denise went out of her way to ensure our group felt welcome and comfortable with little added touches. We hope to be back soon!

Karina’s cottage was just as she described it. It was warm and inviting and we felt at home as soon as we walked in through the door. There was absolutely nothing that we needed! We didn’t bring a dog, but Karina has everything you could possibly need if you did bring your furry companion. The beds were comfortable and sitting by the wood stove at night was heaven. The views from the cottage were incredible! We are hoping to go back in the summer and would recommend this place to anyone.

This is our second visit and we love it. Exceptional view with vineyards in the foreground and western exposure over Okanagan Lake. It is an easy walk to several of our favourite wineries and one or two km to Naramata. Well stocked kitchen, lovely bathroom with shower. Quietand private, but easily accessible from the main road.

We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, sitting out on the deck and playing with all the water toys! What a beautiful spot!

We had a fantastic stay at Ryan's house by the lake! The property was peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained. Waking up to the view of the water every morning was a dream. The house had everything we needed — from a well-equipped kitchen to cozy beds and thoughtful touches throughout. Ryan was a great host — responsive, helpful, and respectful of our privacy. Whether relaxing on the deck, enjoying the lake, or just sitting by the fire-pit in the evening, this place gave us the perfect mix of comfort and nature. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and scenic escape. We’d love to come back again!

We had the most amazing time. Megan was wonderful and went above and beyond. Our month long stay was just what we wanted - beautiful views, time with each other, family and friends, enjoyed walks and runs and bike rides, the best restaurant ever at the ECO academy, especially their wine night. Roomy, modern, super comfortable beds. Nice kitchen, beautiful patio and backyard. Love the fire pit. We both work from home and that worked well in the space. We are runners and there was plenty of great places to run which was fantastic. I highly recommend staying at the cabin for an awesome getaway.

Thank you for hosting us - we had an idyllic, peaceful stay but not lacking in things to do. We enjoyed the hot weather by relaxing on the red chairs on the dock, taking the kayaks out on the lake, having a BBQ in the evening, chilling in the hot tub. It was a beautiful setting and the lake house cabin itself was lovely - beautifully decorated and incredible views. Emma was a very responsive host and had all the information either to hand or a quick message away. We are so pleased we found Emma’s place and wish we had longer than a couple of nights as we would’ve happily stayed the week if we weren’t moving around!

Awesome cabin right on Jewel lake. We rented it for a couple days to spend time ice fishing and visiting with near by grand-parents. Would definitely recommend! Exactly what we needed. Thank you Al.

Our stay at rock lake earth lodge was nothing short of spectacular from the moment we arrived. The host was so receptive at the front desk and provided so many great recommendations for our family to check out. The cabin was immaculate, cozy, warm and fully stocked with everything you’d need. The view was stunning. The environment was peaceful. Lake, hiking, and a playground nearby for kids. They have everything a family could ask for and more. We will 100% be back. My only regret is we didn’t get to stay as long as we would’ve liked (due to illness we had to leave early). That being said, the host was so lovely and immediately asked what we needed for support when we told her we’d have to go. She was so empathetic and kind. So truly, a wonderful place for a family and would also make a really romantic getaway!

We had such a lovely stay at Andrea’s cabin and she was an amazing host! Extremely helpful with lots of info leading up answering all our questions and the cabin was clean and so cozy! Can’t beat the view either, we had a perfect weekend and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

This was our second time here and certainly not our last. The cabin has everything you could need; board games, books, hot tub, fireplaces, and an incredibly well equipped kitchen that’s a dream to cook in. The surroundings are breathtaking and, despite being fairly close to town, you feel entirely surrounded by wilderness. We loved going for long walks around the property and eating outside on the large porch/deck with stunning views of the mountains.

Great place for a family getaway ! Backyard and lake was amazing. Appreciated all the yard games and books for the kids. Space inside was perfect for our 8 adults and 2 kids. We would 10/10 come back again.

Upon arrival to the cabin my spouse and I were absolutely amazed by how beautiful the area was. The cabin is absolutely adorable. The hosts did a wonderful job with absolutely everything. We did end up meeting them and they are very wonderful people. As soon as we got into the driveway, we were greeted with smiles and cookies! They then gave us a tour of the cabin and explained how everything worked. they also gave us a recommendation of a local hot spring that was breathtaking. They also left flowers on the balcony table for my spouses birthday, which was really kind and appreciated. We will definitely be visiting again!

Adorable little cabin. I was surprised and excited to see the books and movies available! The kitchen was stocked well with tools and seasonings for cooking and the bed was comfortable and clean. We had a lovely weekend stay there!

Stayed 3 nights at Laurie's place for a ball tournment in stettler. We were welcomed with a welcome basket, the place was beautiful decorated wish we had more time to enjoy the lake and walk the beach. Beds were very comfortable and place was very clean. 10 outta 10 for us!!!!

We had a great time! Super cute cabin and exactly as described. The cabin was clean, easy to find and Levi even had a little pamphlet inside the cabin with ideas of things to do in the area. We loved waking up in the morning and drinking our coffee outside while we watched the ducks on the pond. Incredibly peaceful and private. A great place to escape the busyness of life. Thank you so much! This was just what we needed.
