Here you can unfold with skiing and sledding in winter, and by bike and on foot in the summer. The area has small-tuned terrain and spectacular views. The cabin is invited to cuddle with cooking and great conversations in social zones. We also have an outdoor hot tub that is heated with a wood stove and can be used throughout the year. We also have two other cabins in the area, if several families are traveling together.

Old stølsbu with distinctive character on the high mountain in Skarvheimen 1100 meters above sea level. Great hiking and fishing areas with a view to Hallingskarvet and Reineskarvet. For us, Geitevasstølen is the best place to be; presence in nature and “simple” life. Bua has simple standard with wood burning, running cold water from the creek, gas stove, fridge/freezer. Solar panels primarily operate the refrigerator and lighting. Here you live in peace and quiet, hear the creek shower and can let the hops. Cows, sheep, and goats keep the hiking area on call.

This was our second time staying here and Aleksander has upgraded with a sauna and the outdoor area as well. Lovely place, quiet, everything works great, and close enough to several ski centers and other attractions with plenty to do. The perfect place to disconnect!

A nice, clean and tidy home in a nice distance to Vestlia Resort with many fun activities as well as the city center at Geilo. The house is spacious and meets expectations. The host is easy to communicate with and responds quickly.

The red cabin features a sloped roof, complemented by a central chimney. Snow blankets the surrounding area, highlighting a clear blue sky above. Multiple windows offer light to the interior, and the entrance is easily accessible from the snow-covered landscape.

A simply wonderful place to enjoy the Norwegian upland, with ski trails from the door, super floor heating, warm historic vibe, and a comfy couch. It has two tables that seat six, a kitchen with tools, utensils and servingware to cook for a crowd of 12 (or more) and serve them coffee and wine, and a dishwasher for cleanup. It’s very well-equipped—like visiting an aunt with one of everything—so there was a right-sized ski pole when we broke one, an extra pulk and harness, plastic sleds for a small army of children, extra ski wax and tools, and the mudroom has long benches for booting on/off, and tons of hooks for hanging outerwear. When wood for the fireplace ran low, Bengt responded quickly.and had it delivered. There are tons of books in the Nordic languages as well as English on many topics including the local area and beyond. The market in Ustaoset is a short walk/ski, and Geilo was easy to reach by bus, train, or taxi for stores, dining, or a downhill ski. Love. This. Place.

Great place to be with big family with pets, quiet and beautiful place that you just want to come back to. Located nice, private by the water, ski slopes and short distance to all amenities. Above expectations beautiful, decorated for Christmas. Amazingly cozy and real Christmas vibe. Nice and good communication with the landlord. Thanks a lot :-).

Directly from the small guest house, we had a great hike in nature. We felt very comfortable at Thomas'. The children could play in the garden in front of the house.

We had a wonderful stay at Geilo and could not be happier. The apartment was clean, two bathrooms and was centrally located to ski resorts and only 5-10 minutes drive from the city center. Communication with the landlord has been great - quick responses, helpful, and very welcoming. It was easy to schedule both check in and check out, and the whole process felt safe and smooth. Highly recommended - we'd love to be back!

We had a nice few days here! Good hiking opportunities and 20 minutes from Hemsedal Skisenter. The host was friendly and helpful with everything we were wondering about. An incredibly nice place to spend Easter in the mountains!

I had a wonderful stay at Hanne's place with my family. The apartment was in a great location central to the town. Easy to access the mountains (we had ski lessons for our kids). The apartment was really nicely decorated and had excellent amenities in the kitchen and we loved the board games too. The kids loved the downstairs play area. Hanne was very responsive to our messages and flexible with our check in time which was very kind. Would highly recommend this apartment and we hope we can stay here again! Thanks 😊

Absolutely super apartment in a central location. Clean, tidy and very comfortable to stay in. Everything worked properly and I would definitely rent again.👍
