The cabin is located by Kongevegen and is suitable as a starting point for hiking and cycling trips. Many fishing opportunities nearby. Good base for car trips to Hallingdal, Valdres, and Sogn. Cabin in the mountain village of Vats, Ål in Hallingdal

Cabin at 800 m.a.s.l. in the mountain village of Vats, Ål municipality. Great views over the village and mountains. Hiking and fishing terrain easily accessible; a large network of ski slopes, cycling and hiking trails. It is almost 6 km up to the high mountain in Skarvheimen where you can see Reineskarvet and Hallingskarvet. The cabin is located by itself and there is a road all the way up. If you enjoy quiet and scenic surroundings, it is worth taking the trip here.

Cozy little cabin with crosscountry slopes right from the cabin. Only 5 km from Hemsedal ski center. Simple standard. The sanitary is in a building ca 15m away (shower and toilet). 6 beds (1 sofa bed, 1 double bed 2 other beds). Recommended for 4 persons. There is no tap water in the cabin, but there is a sink, and it is possible to use buckets with water. Electric radiator, kettle, oven and refrigerator, coffee maker.
